Came here since they work with Geico Insurance but was told by the owner that the paint chip I had wouldn't be covered by insurance. Paint was chipping on my Hyundai Santa Fe 2017 due to a poor paint job at the factory. They sanded everything down to the metal and did the job properly instead of just doing a spot job. Got an estimate from them and took the car to another facility my father uses and they were charging more for the paint job. Decided to go with North Shore Collision for the job and they did good on their promise. This place is old school, and stand behind their work with a lifetime warranty on the paint. Quick and painless. Came here after got involved with a 7 car accident caused by a DUI driver. Got hit in the bumper. Geico made it quick and easy for me. Hands down these guys are amazing!! I'm always skeptical going into Mechanic shops because I'm a girl and dont want to be duped. These guys are honest, provided excellent fast service and my car came out amazing. I had rusty yellow paint that fell on my bumper and fender. I thought i needed a paint job and at first they thought so too. When I picked up my car they told me they were able to remove the rusty paint without having to paint my car, saving me thousands of dollars!! They also fixed my low beam. Not to mention I had enterprise come pick me up from the shop and i was able to leave my car at the shop when i picked up my car. The process was so easy and painless. They did everything for me. First let me say that these guys are tops at body repair. You cannot tell where the car was hit and where the paint was blended. They also know how to paint correct (the act of removing the swirls left behind when the car is washed). Overall I am more than pleased with that aspect of their service. That being said the have their faults. I'm going to guess that they have a lot of cars and not enough staff to get them out in a timely fashion. The body shop is big and I visited it enough times to know they have plenty of work. Since they are a Geico authorized repair shop cars probably come in two and three at a time. This is why you can't be in a rush to get your car back. Here's my experience: 1) It took nearly a week for Geico to do the estimate (obviously not their fault. 2) They rarely returned my calls. I had additional body work I wanted to repair from a years old accident and wanted an estimate I called a couple of times and finally in frustration I went to the shop. 3) They stall. They had the car for month and after the 3rd week I would call every couple of days to hear about the progress. I got various excuses ranging from wheel shimmy ("need to take it out for wheel alignment" to "a strut needs to be replaced"). 4) They replaced the passenger's side headlight assembly (which was beautifully clear) but the drivers side headlights did not work. I checked the bulb and fuse and it was neither. So I figured they did not reconnect the headlight assembly when they reassembled the car. 5) To fix #4 the entire front bumper and headlight assembly must come off. I did not bring it back (I'm sure they would have fixed it for N/C) but since I wanted both headlights to look brand new I bought a new assembly and installed it myself. When I took the bumper apart I found they had used the wrong type/size of fasteners to re-attach the bumper to the car. (In fairness I can see why, the correct fasteners cost $3 each where aftermarket kinda close fit fasteners cost pennies each.) All in all I would say if your insurance company pays for a rental bring it here their body work is outstanding, however patience will be the key. read more

Gino was stellar in cleaning my car up when I came to pick it up and in fixing my car perfectly, restoring it and getting the parts in a timely manner considering my car was being worked on during the coronavirus pandemic. I've dealt with Ronnie and Chris at North Shore ever since I got my driver's license in New York. They are prompt and straight shooters when it comes to service. If you have GEICO, you can expect a speedy evaluation of your vehicle as they are part of their auto express program. They have a good relationship with the local Enterprise, so they can get you in a rental car right at the drop off. Whenever I get in an accident (even though I'm Asian, it's been never my fault...yet) I call these guys right after I file the police report, because they will give you great advice on how to handle the liability claims. Many a time, North Shore repaired any scuffs that I was too lazy to go over with a repair kit after an accident repair, as a bonus. You just can't beat that! The only way I would stop using these guys if I moved 2 states over. read more

Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised on how good the service was provided by an auto repair shop. I was sent there by Geico they said this is one of the shops that they use. My car was 4 days old with 90 miles on it I was so upset but when I got there I was greeted by the Manager Danny I have to say he took care of me like I was family I have been to other shop's in the past and this was far the best experience I ever had. First you feel like your at home when you walk into the office it has a fire place and is very clean. Second talking with Danny he makes you laugh and shows he cares. Third they have a very big window in the office so you can see into the shop so to me that shows they have nothing to hide. Fourth when I had questions about the repair and paint work he took me into the shop for a tour and explained the process of repairs. And while sitting in the office waiting for my rental car I got to see a few customers pick up their cars and they to had nothing but good things to say about the process of the repairs. One customer baked brownies for Danny and his crew and gave him a hug and couldn't thank him enough about everything that he did for her. You would never believe that Danny is only the manager you would think he is the owner the way he takes care of everyone he goes above and beyond to help his customers. UNRELIEABLE! Went to there to get some work done! Dealt with this guy named Danny! seemed decent enough! Said he would call me the same day with a cost! No answer! Called 2 days later, he said he got busy but not to worry hes got me covered, will call me back before the end of the week!. The next week i stop by again ask whats going on and he said he was too busy! Came back 2 weeks later and he is still to busy to get me pricing on all the work that needed to get done! went to down the block to another place i got pricing within 20 minutes and work was done in less then a week and the car looks awesome! their pricing is decent but if you search around you can find alot better! read more
