This location takes customer service to the next level. For business and for personal purposes, I have been renting cars for over 3 decades. Because I try my best to be respectful & appreciative, 99% of the time, I get the same in return. So my renting experience generally is positive. But this location takes it to a different level. Every member of their staff, starting from the manager, Sam (always pleasant and full of energy), Andrew & everyone else is very professional, friendly and tries their best for you to have a positive experience. My 18-year-old son thinks this location is the GOAT :):):):) In my experience, treating people with respect usually gets you the same back -- and that's especially true here. To sum it up, if you live in the vicinity or within driving distance from this location, rent it from here. We were driven 30 mins to another branch because our car was not ready. Once we arrived nd waited another 40 mins, a filthy car was given to us and we received the following warning throughout our rental: "Pull over immediately, dangerously low tire pressure." Enterprise knowingly gave us the car with this issue and told us to ignore the message. I have reached out to Enterprise 18 times (13 emails, 4 calls, and 1 chat conversation) since October 10 to discuss. I am always told a Regional Manager will respond within 48 hours and we have not ONCE received a call back. Highly highly disappointing for a company that used to pride itself on customer service. read more

Great service they picked me up from Prestige BMW and they were very supportive as I had to battle with the insurance company for having my car rental compensated for. Really appreciated all the professional help and service. Even offered me a glass of water as I was on the phone for about 30 minutes trying to get things fixed with the auto insurance company covering the damages to my car. read more

This branch should be the gold standard for car rentals! Therefore, I'm returning here next time I need one. I needed a car while mine was being repaired but not just any car, I needed one that could accommodate a wheelchair as I was still recovering from surgery. With my insurance covering the bill I was concerned. But to my surprise, the staff here understood my needs. I got a very comfortable vehicle and Phil Falco, who with Liz, took care of me, made sure I was able to get into it with no problems. They also made the return super easy. This location usually provides excellent service; however, the '16 black Toyota Corolla I rented for a road trip to Nashville was dirty, and it was missing the back right hubcap. There was dust on the dash, crumbs on the floor, stains on the front seats, and garbage in the back of the passenger's seat. It was clear that it had not been cleaned. read more

I used Enterprise Rental Car in Mahwah and was extremely pleased with the service they provided. I needed a rental car because I was involved in an accident and when I went to the body shop to drop my car off the manager called Enterprise and within 10 minutes of placing the call a representative was there to pick me up and take me to Enterprise to complete the paperwork. The paperwork was quick and painless. When I went to return the car they even offered to take me home, but I had made arrangements for my husband to pick me up. Again, the process was painless. All the customer service representatives were very kind and helpful to me. The car I rented was an Altima and I found it to be adequate and enjoyed driving it All and all the experience not only wasn't an unpleasant one, it was actually very nice to be treated so respectfully. Usually pretty accommodating. However my last rental was anything but. The car was dirty inside, had no Bluetooth which was what I requested. FYI you cannot request Bluetooth and expect to be accommodated according to their agents. They can't promise that. The car worked fine and I guess that's all that matters. read more

The service is good, and the staff is very helpful. The one issue I have is, the condition of the vehicle. On several occasions, the car is filthy, and the interior seats are badly stained. I had to put down a towel on the seats, so I won't get my pants dirty. The carpets are also really dirty. Food, and garbage leftover from the previous customer. I thought maybe this was a isolated incident. However, I continue to get filthy cars. read more

My husband reserved a car for a business trip, but when he arrived to pick up the car, they had given it away. This was mind boggling, as my husband arrived to pick up the car on the correct designated date of the reservation. The Enterprise employee told my husband that they expected him earlier in the day, although my husband has no idea why they made this assumption (my husband arrived at 4:30 as he was at work prior to this). Furthermore, Enterprise did not bother to call my husband to verify the reservation before giving the car that he reserved to someone else. This is not the first time we have experienced terrible service from this rental company - they are convenient to our home but NOT worth the bad service. read more

Worst service ever. Do not go here!! I reserved a car 24 hours in advance. Arrived and had to wait 15 minutes to even be acknowledged. A man with no reservation was immediately given a Jeep Cherokee at a rate of $30/day (normally $45). I was told they did not have a car on the lot for me and they had to call around Rockland County for one. I was also told that the compact car I had reserved for $42/day couldn't be discounted. REALLY?? A man with no reservation who needed to go through 3 credit cards to find one that wasn't declined got a Jeep discounted for $30/day, but my compact, once one was found, was $42/day? I give Enterprise ZERO stars!! Not to mention gender pricing discrimination!!! read more

The manager of this Enterprise location (name is Mike) is extremely rude to customers. I went in this morning to pick up a loaner car arranged my presitge mini. I gave them my debit card for the hold fee and the very nice representative told me it didn't go through. I was very concerned but ended up using my husbands card and was on my way. After calling my bank and learning that plenty of funds were available and that they had no record of enterprise trying to put a charge through, I called to make the manager aware of the situation. He was extremely rude and disrespectful, telling me my card was declined and that it wasn't his problem. I was trying to make him aware of a problem that is directly his. I think that Enterprise should be very concerned about customer service and they should know that this location has a manger that is incapable of providing it! read more

Outstanding customer service!! The woman who helped with our rental, Liz, was wonderful! I called a few times the day before to ask questions and she was pleasant and helpful each time. My husband went in to pick up the van and came out and remarked at how friendly and courteous the woman that helped with the rental was (in contrast to a situation he had with a different rental company last week while away on business). The van was ready when promised and the quoted price was completely accurate. Her help and the ease of this rental made moving our son back to school a far more pleasant experience than it otherwise might have been! Next time we need a rental we'll call here first! read more

My experience was good overall. I like that they will pick you up or drop you off. The staff was friendly and helpful. The down side for me was the car you think your renting (size wise) is not available or is the smallest one in that class. You wanted a four door we only have two doors etc.They desperately try to up-sell you to larger vehicles that are way more costly. It takes about 15-20 minutes to do this dance with the service rep. After you continue to say no they miraculously find the car you ordered. From a sales point of view this must work for them however I would like what I requested without the irritation. It is for this reason they only get 3 stars and I will continue to shop other company's. read more
