My rental was fine. The price stayed the same once I returned it. My only issues were that: 1) they had to send the money that they kept on hold in a check ($200) & 2) a week after returning the rental, there was a toll charge on my debit card. I made them aware that I never crossed through any state lines and that I only went 20 miles, if that, the entire 2 weeks I had the rental. They said I had to call there accounting department & they made me call the department that handles the tolls & violations. So after all that, they said I went through toll in Massachusetts and didn't pay. That is about 260 miles from where I live! After verifying that it was a mistake I was refunded. I was upset that I had to rectify their mistake when it should've been corrected themselves. The mileage could've been checked on the car. read more

This shop has huge turnover. I've rented there more than a few times and the cars are not well cleaned. Makes one scared with the pandemic going on. We've received cars full of dog hairs and with wrappers on the floor. Also not washed the exterior. Here are the latest pics of what we experienced. I issued a google review upon they're requesting. If this one is located next to the Buick dealer then this review is for you. My sister told me how she was mistreated by an area manager on 081920 at about 3pm. He refused to print out contract instead of demanding her to check her email. Lastly, he intentionally added an rental insurance without her permission. The rental car was also dirty and has a dried up blood stain. This gentleman has no business to work in this industry especially as an area manager. He was cocky and unprofessional. He is lucky that I wasnt there to put him in his place. Stay away from this location. After getting more details, the people who works this location are great. They apologized on behalf of the corporate people who came in that date to fill in because the they had off. read more

Don't be fooled by customer service replying to this review. While they were responsive on a corporate level, I never heard from the local team despite asking for direct contact info from the contact in this review. They told me they didn't have local contact info, they could only pass the message along to the local site. I'm not sure how you can pass a message along without having any contact info, but in the end, it's months later and I've never been able to resolve the issue, nor have I heard from this local branch. read more

It was a pleasure renting from Enterprise in Marlton. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They took care of the all the details of the rental with the Hyundai dealership that was providing my free rental. Enterprise called me along the way to make sure my rental experience was going well and even checked in after the fact to see if there was anything they could have done better. The car that I initially rented had air conditioning problems. I took it back a week after renting it and was put in a new car right away, no questions asked. They even waived the gas fee on the 1st car since the air stopped working suddenly and I didn't have an opportunity to put gas back in the tank before getting it back there. Unfortunately the car I was given turned out to be driven by a smoker AND all four tires were significantly under-inflated (24psi should have been 30psi). The folks at the center said they just depend upon the TPMS and fill when the light goes on. I told them it probably wasn't a great idea. BTW they said that is their procedure, not what Enterprise Corporate tells them to do. You would think that such a big safety issue such as under inflated tires would garner more attention. read more

I have rented from the enterprise in Marlton NJ for the last 3 years times for business trips as well as personal needs. Every time I have to take a business trip I would rent a car from them. I am a "Platinum" customer. I do not know if their management has changed but that is an assumption I am making. In short, the last time I rented I was charged an exorbitant rate which came out to about a littles less than 1k a week. An OUTRAGEOUS rate. The "assistant" Manager was rude and very unapologetic when I spoke to him mid rental. All I have to say is I find their pricing now to be deceptive and outrageous. I have written to their customer service department and not received an answer. They have charged my companies cred card over 3 THREE THOUSAND dollars. I have spoken to other rental companies to use for my future needs. They have assured me their rates are much fairer and they do not charge for the extras as Enterprise does. They educated me that this is a common complaint about Enterprise and is due to the fact that the individual stores are franchises and decisions are left to the discretion of the individual owners. I would recommend that anyone reading this not to assume the Enterprise customer loyalty program means anything or that the friendliness of their staff when you speak to them and what they tell you will be honored. I live close to this Enterprise location which makes it extremely convenient. This review is strictly based off of my last visit or car rental. I'm giving 2 stars because I found illegal drugs in the vehicle at a rest stop during my trip. Once I told the company about my findings they offered to take care of the rental fee. Fortunately for me, a cop didn't find it, in an event I happened to get pulled over. Think of telling an officer that the drugs are not mine. Something I sure they never hear, said in sarcastic voice. My reason for renting a vehicle was to travel to Ohio and attend my grandmother's funeral. This was a very stressful time for me and finding this paraphernalia didn't help. When you rent, for any company, check ALL vehicle compartments before leaving the rental location. This was a bad incident and I normally do not have any trouble with Enterprise. In fact, i always have a pleasant uneventful experiences. They demonstrate everything wrong with a business today. I called for a rental asking for the least expensive car. Price was over $40/day which I thought was a lot for a budget car. I checked online and that was the appropriate price. When I called back to book it, price went up to $100/day. I asked if it was a different car, but it was still a budget car. when I asked why, they said, "price subject to change". I checked online, it was still 40$/day at same location. I decided to go elsewhere and paid the $40/day at Avis. What poor business practice. Such a horrible way to treat their customers and consumers in general. I hope they go out of business. That is disgraceful! I did see the other positive reviews for this location, but it seems these customers were insurance paid rentals. I've never completed a review, but my experience today was so bad that I have to make note of it. I was missing information when I arrived to pick up my rental. I provided the manager with the requested information, and she proceeded to list additional stipulations to complete the rental, which she did not present when I initially arrived. When she gave me a higher rental rate, I asked for transportation home to obtain a different form of payment. The manager responded, "I can't help you with that". I accept transportation is suspended because of COVID-19, but this rate change was per Enterprise, not me. When I said I would otherwise be stranded there, she offered no support or resolution. When I asked for documentation of the requests she was making, she told me to find it on the website. She maintained that she was complying with policy. However, her implementation of policy was absolutely dehumanizing. This is not the first time I've rented here, and this is not the first time there's been a snag that's affected my rental at this location, but it's always been resolved professionally and peacefully, even when I've had to change or delay my rental reservation. My experience with today's manager is, by far, THE WORST experience I've had at any rental car company, ever. I have been using Enterprise for a couple of years but rented from this location for first time. They called me one day before to remind me of the rental and whether I need any pick-up. Once I reached they showed me the cars available allowing me to choose what I liked. Explained everything in details and applied corporate discount as well when they come to know my company participates in that. While returning they asked again if I need a drop. After booking the rental, I had to wait 2 whole days to even get into a car, and then when they finally gave me one, they provided one that was more expensive than my insurancce coverage, and I was told i could either take the over-priced car, or wait another 2 days. Then the sales woman pressured me into signing up for the collision coverage, and ADDITIONAL $20 A DAY, and never told me that they would be TAKING THE MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT AT THE END OF EVERY WEEK $250- They way it was explained to me was that it I would pay it upon return of the rental! And on top of that, I found out because I checked my bank account, they didn't even bother to call me to tell me about it. They refused to let me cancel the collision coverage, and were incredibly rude when I called, as well as when I returned the car. They will NEVER get my business again. read more

I have had several issues with the manager, Lance, at the Marlton, NJ location. He has been rude, verbally abusive and extremely unprofessional! I've complained multiple times and each time I'm advised he will be talked to and the situation will be handled. However, nothing ever happens. Each time his attitude is worse than before. He has called me a f$&king b!tch, told me to "f$&k off & f$&k you" and screamed at me in front of an office full of customers. When speaking to the regional manager garnered no results, I went above him. However, this "area manager" woman made excuses for this man, basically called me a liar & apologized, not for his actions, but that I felt the way I did. Wtf?! This is the worst company! They gave me a car with a damaged tired that almost killed me and my husband when it blew on the highway. Then we had to waste more than 2 days & spend almost $300 to get it replaced & was charged $56 to have their Roadside service come because of their mistake. Unbelievable! The icing on the cake, they sent this man to my 'home' (thank God it's not were I reside primarily, otherwise I would be terrified!) to pick up the car. When I spoke to the area manager she stated "had we known there was such a problem between you two, we wouldn't have sent him." Umm, how many times do I need to complain before you get the picture?!? Yes, there's a problem but it's with that man, not me. Her statement tells me that they don't care about what their employees do or how they treat people. Hell, I would guess that most of their complaints are just thrown in the garbage. Unless you want to be treated like crap & talked to in a demeaning way by a man with issues (in my opinion) than I suggest you don't go to the Marlton, NJ location. I have used this location twice within 8 months due to 2 separate auto insurance issue and both times Enterprise was professional, courteous, easy to deal with and accommodating. The second claim we ran into an issue with my son being stuck out of the country. When we couldn't get the car back in what they felt was a reasonable amount of time the insurance company refused to pay the extra two days but Enterprise graciously picked up the difference. Thank you Enterprise for understanding that sometimes things are out of our control and going the extra mile to be kind and making a stressful situation so much easier to deal with. read more

My son was coming home from out of town so we needed a car for him. We wanted to pick it up at ACY airport and return it to TTN airport 3 days later. Enterprise would not allow a on-way rental so we had to rent a car for me. I reserved it to be picked up on Friday morning but could not return it until Monday due to the July 4th holiday, they were closed both Saturday and Sunday. I picked up a Honda Civic which met my needs for the weekend. After driving about 10-15 minutes and sensor light came on on the dashboard telling me to check tire pressure. I pulled over to see if one the tires was flat but it was not. I called the Marlton office back and they told me I could exchange the car at the Hammonton location.. This was about a 10 mile drive and I was not too sure what was happening with the tires so I was anxious to get a new car. When I arrived, they could only give me a truck or a great big car that someone was returning that had not even been cleaned, although they offered to clean the back side window. None of,these vehicles was satisfactory for me. The representative kept telling me that it was most likely a sensor that was malfunctioning, I was not willing to take that change especially because all of,the locations were closed for the weekend. So the gentle,an called the Pleasant I'll office to see if they had comparable cars and they did so I drove there...about another 25 minutes...in Saturday shore traffic!! I was able to exchange,the car for a Hyundai Accent which was smaller and a lower class,than what I had reserved but I didn't have many choices! The car was not clean inside...the carpet was really dirty with white salt?? And the trunk was just dirty and needed to be vacuumed. At night, the front window was really difficult to see out of and should have been cleaned before being rented out. I returned the car on Sunday and put the key in the drop. They reopened on Monday at which time they called to tell me that it was checked in.. This entire car problem delayed my trip by over 2 hours! I was not,happy. Very convenient to Burns GMC and friendly staff. Enterprise reminded me of my appt., called me along the way to make sure my rental experience was going well. I have rented from them twice in the past month. Both times the Mini van and car was dirty. I had to empty the trash and 2nd time take it to the car wash before I could drive. Great Staff, great company but had horrible experience with the branch Manager, very combative, and I will file a compliant with their district manager. I rented the car to go out of state and they gave me a car with half a tank and hesitated to get the gas and kept giving me an excuse why they couldn't do it to a point where it started to sound like a argument. Another customer intrusivly asked why I couldn't fill the gas myself and everyone present started to laugh at me. I didn't understand why she would laugh at me and threaten to kick me off the property. Finally, after I repeatedly requested for them to fill up the tank, they went to get the gas. Really?
