This was honestly the easiest transaction I've ever experienced at an enterprise. I was minding my business when someone crashed their car into mine. Car accidents are so frustrating because there are so many steps that need to be completed post accident. My insurance company set me up with enterprise for a rental and while I was still on the phone with my adjuster enterprise was already calling me. I 99% expected the agent to tell me they didn't have any cars available (this is my normal experience with enterprise) but instead, he just asked me what time I was arriving. I walked into enterprise and was driving off in my rental in less than 5 min! 10/10 for customer service here! I wish I knew the name of the young man who helped me because he was great! read more

This by far has been a horrible experience where do I being went into branch Aug 12 but before going on I spoke with Derrick on Aug 10th so I knew what I was pretty much expecting to get Aug 12th I test drive vehicle ac wasn't working properly. I was told they were going to look at it and resolve the issue and if I could keep the rental that I had and which I was paying for until Friday. Friday came and I spoke with Derrick Whom stated the vehicle was fixed at enterprise Airport and they were gonna bring the vehicle back to the current location and just expect it. Then I was told they would have to order a piece for the vehicle but I could test driver a another one which I did Aug 17th vehicle was up to my liking with a minor scratches and bugs stains on hood. I had the vehicle about three days.Aug 19th vehicle would not crank. Come to find out battery wasn't good. I called the office because I was stuck with a certified protection vehicle that was suppose to had been well checked. Needless to say, I was told to take my vehicle to a local shop and they would service the vehicle with a new battery, once arriving at the shop, battery was not in stock. I was told to wait 30 minutes to an hour and it would be delivered. I spoke with DJ I have had the horrible experience with enterprise. None of the staff or managers are considerate of your time or things that you have going on. They are more concerned about making a sale. No accommodation at all. If I had to recommend to purchase a vehicle from Enterprise, take my experience as a learning lesson do not do it.! Think twice. read more

I had to rent a van to drive a bunch of coworkers to a meeting in rural Louisiana. The online booking process was easy and the staff was very nice when I arrived. (I picked this Metry location because it was close to the staff rendezvous location.) BUT the van wasn't ready. Yes I know I was picking it up at 7:30 am but it was being cleaned until almost 8:15. The staff apologized but the van (while a fancy town & country) was still not clean. My coworkers ended up picking up trash from inside. Also, while I didn't have an issue since I was booking on a corporate account, there seemed to be much drama regarding new rules for folks trying to rent a car with a debit card. I decided to buy a car from Enterprise and after looking and deciding what I want I went to buy my car. I didn't buy anything the first day I went, I wanted to sleep on it. From that first day until I signed and bought my car they called/texted everyday. They would text back immediately. They would send cars and ask if I was ready multiple times a day. I wasn't annoyed because it was nice and although a bit much I felt like we were in this together. After getting my car and having it for a week the battery dies. I think this is strange. I just bought the car , ink is still wet. I text both the guys that wanted so desperately to sell me a car and got no response from one and the other I had to double text and even then he told me to call Enterprise. I just feel it is very strange to buy a car and immediately the battery dies. No one has been helpful since I bought this car. I've had my car for little over a month I've driven it maybe two times. It is still under the 1000 miles and I'm seriously considering returning the car. I think it's 7 days or 1000 miles you can return cars here. I still have my other vehicle and honestly the principle of it all is what is most annoying. I could easily go buy a new battery but why should I have to in a brand new car? 0/10 don't recommended this place. I would actually like to give 0 stars. read more

Extremely disappointed in this location. We accidentally left a backpack in the backseat of our rental car when we turned it in but did not notice till we got to the airport. They were closed by this time (20min later). Called first thing to ask them to keep in lost and found for us or to ship it to us at our expense of course. Well, the unprofessional and rude workers at this job left us on hold for hours and claimed no one saw it. We do not stay in Nola so we had family members go to the location and look around and of course there our back pack was in the dumpster; opened and scavenged through. Office feels like a dorm room and customers seem like a bother to staff.

Make sure you look over your bill. I was sent to them while my car was in the shop. The dealer was picking up all the bill but they still charged me $12, when I questioned it they credited it back but couldn't even tell me what the charge was for. I think they hoped I didn't see it. This is very unethical. The dealer had to do more work on my car and was sent back to enterprise again. This time the car reeked of smoke this caused my Asthma to flare up, They did switch the car but I had already been exposed and caused some breathing issues for a few days. I emailed corporate about both these issues 3 times and have never received a response. The local office was not very helpful, no apology or anything. read more

The manager Kenyan is the worst nightmare you could ever encounter. He put garbage in the car I had rented and insisted I had excessive dirty return of car . I never have had such a horrible experience. I told him I would clean it. I spent over an hour in the hot sun scrubbing the car and he still had the audacity to steal 100.00 from me. Do not go here. Needed a rental since my truck was in the shop. Another location had given me a truck for a rental. The truck was all scratched up and looked like a work truck in the bed. The employee walked around the car and as I pointed out a few scratches he told me that they weren't worried about anything smaller than about a golf ball. It's a shame that this company will lend paying customers a vehicle like this, but I was only using it to get to and from work so I didn't think much of it. When I returned the vehicle at this location, the employee noticed a couple cracked lights. Now I am faced with being charged for the damaged or claiming it on my insurance for damage that I absolutely know did not happen while I had the truck. Be very careful if you rent from this company. Point out and make sure it's noted for every little detail wrong before you take the car, no matter what. read more

I asked if there was anything available at an earlier time because my checkout of my hotel is at 11am and didn't want to haul our luggage around all day with us, they said they had nothing available. When we got here all they had available was a Dodge Journey, which has no blue tooth option. The staff was very unfriendly, rude and short with me and had a little sarcastic undertone when saying it was the week of Mardi Gras. I was promised a pick-up at 10:30 am (scheduled the day before). No one showed up, no one called, and no one answers the phone despite it being during business hours (I am on permanent hold). It is now 1 pm, I have heard nothing, cannot reach a soul. Update: I was finally able to reach the Metairie branch by calling the New Orleans branch (Baronne St.), they had a direct line. The manager (Natalie) was very apologetic, errors had been made in my reservation by a new employee and while there was no good reason no one ever answered the phone all day Saturday, Natalie was very helpful from that point on and I got a car the following day from the Baronne St. office. Everyone at that office was very helpful. When I have to rent cars I only use enterprise. With that being said, this was the most horrible customer service experience I have ever had in my life. I walked in, wasn't greeted. There was a line of people waiting to be checked in. And a few people waiting for their cars to be brought around. There were 4 people behind the counter tho, so i figured I'd be in and out. I got to an agent quickly. He was mediocre at best. Once I was checked in he said, there are two people in front of you waiting for a car, just have a seat. Let's fast forward to 45 MINUTES LATER!! I am still waiting for my car and people who came in after me were coming and going so quickly but no car for me was ever brought around. Finally I ask someone to is walking another family who just got there out to their car if they forgot about me and why other people where leaving and i was still waiting. He said, your car is still being clean. Never in my life have I had to wait for my car to be cleaned at enterprise. If my car isn't ready, they just give me an different class. I was flabbergasted that they made me wait an hour during New Orleans rush hour instead of just giving me a free 10$ upgrade. So finally my soaking wet car that was still dirty inside, and smelled of smoke was brought around. I was so excited to ride around in last years car they smelled terrible for 10 days. Spent half a day getting the documents I was told I needed only for the same staff members to turn away our business. Rented a car here several times, but I will not be returning. I was overall satisfied with them! Each time I went they were helpful and friendly and it didn't take too long (between 5-30 mins) for them to get me a ride or a car. From the phone call the day before confirming my reservation, to the clean, waiting car; from the attentive service at the start and the outstanding, out-of-the-way service at drop-off. I can't recommend this particular Enterprise enough. I've been a longtime member of a competing car rental agency and had become so soured on the whole process. It's good to know there is still a company, and especially this particular office, that still strives to provide an excellent product. (Did have a $250 hold on my debit card, but my fault for not bringing the credit card. It was refunded and hit my bank account immediately upon returning the car.) read more

It all begins with my moving and, admittedly, waiting longer than I should have to rent a truck. That said, I order a box truck from the Enterprise website, get my confirmation number, at some point try to call the Metairie location so I can confirm but no one answers, so I assume all is well. ALL WAS NOT WELL. I arrive at the store on a Saturday at 9am to pick up the truck and the man says "We've been trying to call, but you gave the wrong phone number. We've been booked since Monday." After cursing, I said "Well, what phone number do you have?" Man replies...with the phone number I've had for probably the last 9 years. I didn't have a single phone call, a single voice mail, but more so, you can't get in touch with me? You surely have my Email I used, because that's where my confirmation number was sent! He then back peddles and says it's a corporate issue that they confirm rentals when they don't have them, but it's still no excuse for them to not have even made an attempt to let me know I didn't have a truck. It was a complete waste of time. And it really annoyed me that he tried to blame it on my providing an incorrect contact number. No, sorry Enterprise, your incompetence is all on you. I had someone smack into my car causing over 7,000 dollars in damages. The dealership said they would get me their discount. Suddenly, one day I get a call notifying payment was due. I explained since there was a national holiday, my direct deposit would not be in until the following Monday. It showed up on Saturday at which time I zeroed out my balance as agreed. I told them I am paid every two weeks and would contact them when my next direct deposit occurred. That was Jan. 20 2018. Suddenly, this week I get a call from a guy that just started shaving to turn the car in immediately. I explained my arrangement, and said Friday I would zero it out. Then Melissa, calls me to demand payment. I said Friday(This was Tuesday) I'm Paid. I offered he the opportunity on the phone call, to take out $100 right then. She is so important she would have one her Managers call me to withdraw it. They attempted to withdraw it before I could make a deposit transfer from savings. Now they are demanding a money order like I am a liar. I WILL NEVER USE ENTRPRISE RENT A CAR AGAIN, AND IF THIS IS THE BUSINESS MODEL THEY USE, its going to catch up to them. read more
