Went to the Orland Park location and I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Super fast and easy. Only thing is you do need 300 bucks for a deposit, most people probably don't have like me so had to borrow from someone. You do get it back though. They used to be on the corner of 159th and Harlem (7200 West)...but that corner lot - which used to be a gas station - was sold and Budget has moved to 7420 West 159th (right next to the Home Depot and Goodwill Industries stores)...roughly three blocks west of Harlem Avenue. Right now they are working out of a trailer (see picture #1) but will soon move into their new digs (see picture #2). While I can't say I had perfect experiences here, I am satisfied enough to give them another chance. I understand that sometimes the previous renter does not return the vehicle on time (I had trouble returning mine) and that puts the next renter behind the eight ball. The Budget staff are in a tough position...they want to let you be a day late when necessary but that might put someone else out of pocket. Tough position. All-in-all I think this rental place is A-Ok...give them a chance. Budget, by the way, is really an outlet for Ford products...so now you know what you'll be getting. 3 Stars.

We arrived at the Orland Park the next morning, the woman at the counter pulled up our claim and knew the situation, was rude and could not care less about our the situation, no empathy. Just stated we only had electric cars left. We stated that we have never used an electric car before and that we would be traveling, and did not have time to have to keep finding charging stations. She stated all the cars are reserved, we stated we reserved car also and you gave us a faulty car. If they did not have a vehicle available then why did the Budget agents tell us to go to this place. I would never go with Budget again. A letter will be going to headquarters and booked thru Costco travel, they also will be notified. And they charged me for 19 hours $280.12!

I decuded to take a vacation out to Ohio. my old V8 Dodge uses way too much gas so I originally was going to get a midsize SUV.. just for comfort fit a Toyota RAV4 and Nissan Rogue. the RAV4 need an oil change so I got an upgrade to a luxury SUV a Buick enclave... nice vehicle very comfortable lot of power almost one step below a Cadillac I was quite pleased with it except for one problem I paid the 2499 to have the XM radio turned on but apparently there's a problem with it they could not get it turned on at all they said wait a little while it should kick in..it never did it stayed on the preview channel the whole time but it was all good cuz where I was traveling we're big cities and there's plenty of classic rock that I like on route and all the way across... so I got there to check in when I said I was going to and it was a relatively easy check-in process I did not have any problems at all and it was all good and I was on my way I was able to leave my vehicle there no problem at all nice and safe.. I hear all these horror stories about rentals and everything and I didn't have any trouble at all. had a reservation number this location in Orland is very helpful for the most part.. as far as the vehicle the only drawback that I had found was it was not cleaned prior to my accepting it had just came in and the find out that the car was supposed to have my oil change it was fine they get a quick wash off of it but didn't do much to the interior but it's okay it was a little some garbage on the floor and some other stuff but no problem. most of the time they usually detail I'm out like a new car wiper down armor-all and Windex the windows and everything but it just came in and it was fine I got in and got out I want to get going without waiting hours an hour or so no problem... The 2020 Buick Enclave is about one step below a Cadillac CTV very comfortable V6 has plenty of power was really surprised good gas mileage too lot of room tons of power accessories.. I did like the heated seats and the Bose speakers.. so I had no trouble the whole time I used it. put a total of 1273 miles on it over 4 and 3/4 days... I use Enterprise quite a bit I've always had good luck with them some people say they don't but all the times I've had to rent a car I've always had no issues at all no horror stories the credit card get charged for the amount that I say no hidden charges no-nonsense but then again I don't do a debit card I use a real credit card.. fact it was a little bit dirty and also the fact that when I received at that accent did not work no matter how they tried I also received a $45 discount which I appreciate it... now I know for a fact some enterprises are good and some are bad but I do definitely recommend this one I would definitely if I need one locally uses facility again.. it's right next to georgios banquets and a Quality Inn hotel formerly a comfort Inn off of 159th Street by Orland Park... the nice thing is when I picked it up and returned it I dealt with the same person and I have to say the professionalism in the easygoingness of Nasar Abdrabo should be noted.. thanks for another good car rental experience.

Having no control that the repairs took longer than expected I was charged for 2 full days. Any overages should be pro-rated and not a full day as soon as 24hrs is up. I know it's their policy but it sucks. I know they won't change it and don't care so I just won't rent from them again. If I wasn't charged for a full 2 days I'd still rent from there but screw em. Loss of future revenue for them I guess.

My first experience renting was not pleasant as they made me go back home to get my corporate badge. No one has ever done that when I travel for business and I saw the bias in that. The car they gave had suspension issues and they could not change and I had to change my car in a different Avis. However, from the second rental the process have been quicker and the vehicles were lot cleaner and better. I would say that they are making a good effort to test their customers right and give vehicles that are of good quality.

She told the young handsome Black man that was helping me that I needed to pay $17/day to get Insurance, I told her that that add-on is NOT insurance, it's COLLISION COVERAGE, for damage to the corporation rental car; the coverage does not cover medical or liability to other property. She said I would not get the car without COVERAGE, that it was "the Law" in Illinois to have it. Bullshit! If it was mandatory, it would be required in the bookings/reservation process!!!
