I never write reviews but feel compelled to do so because this was the worst car rental experience I've ever had (if I could give negative stars I would), and I don't want others to experience the same. My family needed to rent a luxury car for my brother's wedding on 6/2/22. This company came recommended by a family friend. We decided to take a chance and rent a RR Ghost. The rental was for 24 hours. We paid the rental fee in full well in advance of our rental date. This is where the horrible experience begins. The night before the wedding, we called and texted to try and pickup the vehicle and we're told by a rude employee that the vehicle was far away and that we couldn't get the vehicle the night before and instead the vehicle would be delivered to us in the morning on wedding day. On the morning of the wedding, we called the company and were told by the same employee that he could not deliver the vehicle and that we would need to pick it up because he was tired and hadn't slept much from the night before and apparently didn't have a ride back. After some additional discussions with this rude employee, the employee finally agreed to drive the RR to our residence and then my brother dropped the employee off back at his place of employment. Now to the filth. When the RR arrived at our residence, my brother (the groom) drove the RR to drop the employee off. Upon seeing the vehicle, it was clear that it hadn't been cleaned, and the gas tank was empty. The employee made excuses saying that the vehicle was used the night before and that he hadn't gotten a chance to clean it (apparently that's the customers problem). On the way to drop the employee off, they employee filled a HALF tank of gas and told us that would be enough for a 24 hour rental (it wasn't). I drove my brother (the groom) around in the vehicle. The first stop was the bride's house to pick up the bride. Because the car hadn't been cleaned, we decided (in our tuxes and all) to check the back seats and lo and behold, we found a rotten half eaten peach, used dirty paper plate, crumbs, and used water bottles. See pictures attached. We removed the filth and any other items we could see and complained to the employee but they didn't care and didn't think it was their problem. Later, when we ran low on gas, we filled a full tank of gas and washed the RR and vacuumed the inside of the vehicle (again in our tuxes and all, on wedding day). We raised all of these issues and there was no apology or remorse. The employee simply blamed his inability to clean the filthy vehicle on his lack of sleep and time. After a phone call in which we yelled at the employee for his lack of customer service, care, or regard, he finally reluctantly apologized. The story continues to get worse. Despite ALL of the above, the next morning when THEY were supposed to pickup the vehicle from our house, we were told that we needed to drop the vehicle off by them otherwise there would be an additional service charge of $200 for them to pick it up. We didnt have time for bickering, so we told them to pick it up and we'd pay the $200. When they arrived, they wrote us a bill for an additional $890. They claimed it was $200 pickup charge and $690 for driving 175 miles over the allotted mileage. (We live in Tinley Park and the bride lives near Skokie so that is why there was a lot of driving). Bottom line, the terms of agreement state $2.50 per mile over the allotted 100mile/day. Doing the math the added bill should've only been $437.50 for the added miles plus $200 service charge for a total of $637.50. Nonetheless, we PAID the $890 they asked for (we actually gave them $900) because we were just happy to have a great wedding and didn't want to deal with this garbage company. Even with all this, I kid you not, they had the NERVE to call back a few hours later to asked for an additional $200 because they claimed their employee who wrote the additional bill for the mileage and vehicle pickup had forgotten to add $200 in taxes. At this point, we told them to go F*** themselves.

Do not rent from this place. I rented a car from them and they charged me all these extra chargers after returning the car be careful they are very slick. I returned the car as clean as I got it and still charged me $200 Cleaning fee they also charged for miles which they never mentioned at beginning of rental total extra charges were over $1400 stay away rent with Turo much better and safer.

    Emailed about the rental agreement

Avoid by all means. I initially was going to book with DS Luxury but decided to go with Drip Drop Exotic because they priced matched a promotion and convinced me with their words that their company was superior. I made a reservation for the Bmw i8 for June 18-21 in April with an employee named T Dallash. The first red flag is that he wrote my reservation incorrectly and had to send a new one on may 5th. I signed the documents sent in copies of my credit card and drivers license and was told that my reservation was complete. The second red flag is after a week I noticed my card wasn't charged for the reservation. I called and was told that the money won't be charged until closer to the rental date. Third red flag, On the day I was supposed to get the car, I notice I did not get a final confirmation call about the drop off. I called and inquired to make sure everything was okay and was told that the sorry employee that made my reservation doesn't work there anymore and don't worry because your card wasn't charged. Where's the accountability??? Why not pick up the employees case load, why not reach out to me to inform me of things ahead of time. It wasn't about the money but the inconvenience the day the car was supposed to get picked up. Can you imagining this happening on a prom day. I had to wait until Monday to speak with the supervisor "Moe" at drip drop exotics because he wasn't working the weekend of the reservation. He was not sympathetic but agreed to price match the initial agreement. I asked could he send me an email stating that. Never got it. I called back in to follow up on the email and was told, "yea I seen your email I'll respond." It's now over a month, no response. Never got it........ avoid at all cost. I tried to work things out so I didn't have to write this review, which I informed the company but It didn't work. I ended up going back to my first mind which was DS Luxury. Customer service was great. Price was more but it was worth it seeing they were there to answer calls and made themselves readily available throughout the rental period.

This is when tow truck came, so you see a dent? What a joke.

So we went in to the store anyway as we needed the truck today. A woman, Joey's coworker, immediately called another location and found a truck for us and asked them to hold it. Which is what Joey should have done before he called us.

The insurance company paid for a premium grade luxury vehicle, Hertz believes that's a Toyota Avalon. I had a luxury sports car and it was replaced by a family sedan of significantly less value for me to drive for 6 weeks while my vehicle was being repaired. The insurance company paid for Hertz to pick me up from my home and take me to their rental facility to pick up the Toyota. I had to take the day off work since I didn't have a car and while waiting I thought I would work on some projects around the house. After waiting a couple hours longer than I expected to be picked up I called Hertz and asked them to give me a more specific time range after I was told they would be here soon, I said "will you be here in about an hour?" The representative told me no it should be no longer than 15-20 minutes. So I waited around and it ended up being an hour. Once I got the car after waiting around for hours longer than I was supposed to and then spending about 30-40 minutes at the rental place I got in the Toyota and it reeked horribly of cigarette smoke. I'm not a smoker, never have been, cigarette smoke gives me headaches. I would never use Hertz again, one of the worst experiences from any company I have had.
