If I could update my review and give no stars I would. To add insult to injury, not only did I receive my first rental with expired plates, the second rental they put me in is now causing fraudulent charges on my card stating I took tolls in states such as Ohio, and Indiana and downtown Chicago in days I was clocked in working 12 hour shifts. DO NOT DO BUSINESS AT THIS LOCATION - not only will they break their own contract by putting you in an illegal car they will try to fraudulently charge you for tolls in different states you did not take. There is no communication. I had a warning light go on the first night I had the vehicle and couldn't get ahold of anyone. Luckily it went off after I restarted the car. I had to call to get a copy of my invoice because I was getting random charges with no explanation. I returned the car early because my car repairs were finished early. Today, I get a notice that I'm going to be charged for tolls that were paid by my iPass plus a fine! Ridiculous! You should be embarrassed. read more

DO NOT RENT From ENTERPRISE. I was staying in New Lenox & I rented a car for 5 days from the location in New Lenox (650 E Lincoln HWY). They have been sending me emails EVERYDAY since saying I have numerous unpaid tolls in Indiana, Ohio and even New York. I only used the car to visit my mom and take her on errands around her neighborhood in Glenwood. I only had so many miles on the car that go with me visiting mom. This is FRAUD! some on tolls are only minutes apart and in different states. They even have me having a toll in a different state when I was at the NL Location returning the car. They even started putting these BOGUS charges on my credit card. I have spent OVER 12 hours on the phone etc trying to get them to remove all this AND THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ANY HELP AT THIS LOCATION OR ANY OF the Enterprise numbers I have been calling. I made a reservation for a mini van on April 2nd with a pick up date of May 17th at 8am. On May 16th at 4:10pm l received a phone call from Enterprise saying they could not get a van for me. I asked for a different vehicle and they told me they hade zero cars available for rent. They then asked me if I could move my pick up time to later in the afternoon. I said I could not move the time because I was leaving on a road trip. They told me they would keep calling around for a vehicle and would call me back before closing. I never received a call back. I guess the 1.5 months of notice were not enough for them. I will never be giving Enterprise my money in the future. read more

Staff is friendly. However, beware that they will scam you out of money. I was in an accident with a semi so the drivers insurance was covering my rental. Staff gave me an suv and after all was said and done, I was charged almost $200 because that was an upgrade and they didn't tell me. Also, they claimed they offered me a toll package which they did not. After the fact I was charged $47 for 2 tolls. BEWARE read more

THE WORST RENTAL CAR PLACE IVE EVER BEEN TOO! This is due to multiple experiences with them. On three different occasions I had reservations that were NOT met! I expected to pick up my car after reserving it well in advanced but there was NO CAR THERE FOR ME. In one instance I was offered a minivan for $200 a day because of surge pricing. That was Mokena though. They were GREAT help too. They at least called me to tell me no car would be available for me though. That was nice of them..... They also explained to me that if people don't return cars to them it "screws" them which in turn "screws" customers like me. All the cars that I did get from them were disgusting. I had to clean the Windows myself. If you need to call corporate I have a number for you. They won't do anything. But you can call if you want? He was more than accommodating and made it so I had a car when I needed one! He even followed up with a call to make sure that everything worked out! Used New Lenox Enterprise because our car was in for repairs. They delivered the car right to the shop. It's was a beautiful Dodge Durango. Our car took longer than expected but it was no problem with Enterprise. We always use Enterprise and will continue to do so. read more

Went a half hour early to pick up my rental that I reserved. Asked if it was ready and the guy flat out lied to me. Said it would be ready at 4. It was getting an oil change. So I came back at 4 and the car wasn't there or even coming. So his smart ass mouth irritated me from jump. So bottom line I had to settle for some piece of shit that I didn't reserve or want. My car was in the auto shop for an entire day, so I was able to rent a car from New Lenox Enterprise so I wouldn't have to miss work. Like their commercials say, they picked me up from the auto shop and brought me to the rental car office to pick up my rental, and when my car was ready, I dropped off my rental and they brought me back to the auto shop to pick up my car. Enterprise made this so convenient and provided me with prompt, courteous service. Chris was extremely accommodating and I would highly recommend renting a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car in New Lenox. Great customer service is tough to find these days. I rented a car last month at the New Lenox Enterprise and was very pleased with the service and with the car. I was able to get a car quickly and the manager Zach was especially responsive and made sure I had exactly what I needed. I will definitely return to this Enterprise for future rentals.
