Took 35 mins to get done checking out with one person ahead of us. Vehicle did fine but checking out at the airport a week later found that they did not honor the travel app price as booked. This took a couple calls and more time to fix. read more

Extremely frustrating situation that could have been avoided if they had explained the process better. I respect that they have rules they follow. But if the person setting up the car rental doesn't let you know ahead of time it's completely a miss on their part. Also the person saying my driver license isn't valid when it is. The new manager of this location should be in a behind the scenes role and have no access to the public nor should they be training anyone else who interacts with customers. The prior manager had excellent customer service and valued their loyal customers. This location now exhibits nefarious business practices that are entirely profit, driven and not focused on customer retention. Would not recommend and will not return. Received excellent customer service from both Jocelyn and Margot at this location. They both took time to answer some of my questions.

I made a reservation for a Tahoma sized truck around 2 weeks ago for while my car would be in the shop. They brought me a huge truck to the shop. I have to grab the steering wheel to pull myself in it and jump down. I tried to get them to give me a smaller truck and I keep getting "we don't have anything" on the lot. It is now two days later and they still don't even though they called yesterday and said they would today at 9. Also, when I got maybe a block or two from where they dropped it for me, the low tire pressure light went on. I called them this morning and still nothing (2 days later). I asked if I went by if they would fill the tire with air and they said they could but it may be a wait; that I should go to Les Schwab since they would do it for free. Do they think I won't have to wait there! I will never, ever use Enterprise again. This is service at it's worse. I had to pay extra from what the insurance was paying to get a Tahoma sized truck. read more

Made reservations online when I arrive they said in about two hours they would have a car available. I waited and after an 1.5 later they said til 1pm. I waited for awhile walked out however never received a call from they that they would not have a car for me. Thank to Nissan rental across street they had cars available. I really appreciate the service provided from this location. Was rear-ended in traffic at 5:10. Was wrapping up conversations with the local PD and insurance at 5:40 and decided to call Enterprise while my girlfriend talked to the tow company for my vehicle. I thought of Enterprise because I had served them at a restaurant I had worked at where they had staff meetings early in the morning. The group was always polite and friendly and clearly focused on constantly improving the quality of their service. A staff member came and picked me up around 5:50 (closing time for them was 6:00). I anticipated expenses from the accident (my car was totaled). Plus paying for the rental out of pocket so I requested the cheapest, smallest option available. The store manager provided me with a sedan-rate on a van since it was the smallest available at the time. I was back on the road shortly after 6. This afforded my family and friends valuable breathing room for a few days to help me find another ride. And turned an unfortunate accident into a relatively minor inconvenience. Three times in the last year we've reserved a car from Enterprise in Burlington only to get a call from them to tell us they have no cars available. This, despite their website showing ample availability, I can understand once, but three times? Enterprise, get your act together. You're a large company. I rent vehicles often, and when I do I expect the vehicle to be ready to go. My recent experience with this particular agency has really soured me on Enterprise. I haven't contacted the local branch manager since she was the one that assisted me. I reserved a car a day or two prior to pick up. I arrived shortly after my scheduled pick up time and was told the car was not ready. I was offered the option of waiting while they got the car ready or upgrading to a car that was ready to go. For $20 per day MORE than my original rental request. Rather than wait for an unknown period of time, I opted for the pricier upgrade since I was on a schedule. Then I got the hard sell on all the extras from insurance to fuel refilling. All while standing out in the freezing cold. The "upgraded" vehicle was filthy outside. Someone had attempted to wash it in the rain and had succeeded in smearing muddy rag marks all over the car. Then as we drove to our destination after dark, I found out the inside of the windshield had received the same attention to detail as the outside of the car. It was a complete safety hazard. Being that it was so late, all stores were closed. I had to slow down to well below the speed limit to navigate safely. I had to purchase glass cleaner and paper towels the next day and spend 20 minutes in the cold, cleaning the windows on my "ready to go" rental car. I took some photos but couldn't add them to my review for some reason. I will seriously reconsider my decision to rent from the local Enterprise branch in the future. Update: After a corporate rep replied to my post with an email address I could write to, my complaint made it to the local office and they made things right by changing the way they inspect their vehicles and refunding me the difference in price between the level of car I chose and what I ultimately ended up driving. read more

Last fall I rented a car from the Mt. Vernon location. The car drove great but the check engine light came on while I was in Idaho. I changed out the car without any hassle and was credited for the fuel since I had just topped off the tank. When I returned to Mt. Vernon I found that my vehicle had been towed while I was in Idaho. It had been parked next door at the Lowe's store as recommended by the staff. Unbeknownst to anyone, the owner of the Lowe's parking lot decided to resurface the lot and towed all vehicles that were not moved by a certain date. As you can expect I was horrified to have my car missing when I returned. I was under a critical time crunch and was exhausted from driving all day. The staff was very patient with me and allowed me to drive the rental car to the towing company that they then picked up later. The manager was outstanding and reimbursed me for all the towing expenses that I incurred. She took a very bad experience and made it right for me. I will forever recommend the Mount Vernon Enterprise Group to anyone that needs to rent a car. Thank you! read more

I have been renting from different Enterprise locations in the Fall for years. I've always had a pleasant experience. A couple of weeks ago, I rented a Ford F150 for a week to drive to Montana. On the way back from visiting my relatives, I ran over a chunk of ice on Interstate 90 while coming down off of Bozeman pass. Unfortunately, I blew a tire and had to pull over to the side of the freeway. I didn't have much room on the shoulder due to early snow piled up from the plows. I was alone. And, it wasn't my vehicle. So, I hustled to find the spare, then the jack which was a bit of a puzzle to remove. And then, how do I lower the spare tire from its mounting bracket. I finally realized there was a keyhole in the rear bumper. Then, I found the inverted key inside my remote key. I inserted into the keyhole, and..... wrong key. Somehow the manual key did not match my vehicle. I tried it on the doors as well. Ok, mistakes happen. Meanwhile, semi trucks are flying past me without slowing down, making the truck rock back and forth every time and it's 14 degrees in the mountains. Finally, a state trooper pulled up behind me an flipped his lights on to offer me some protection. He also tried the key and we both tried to figure out another way to get the spare out. But, failed. We called a tow truck driver. He also tried the key. Luckily, I had full coverage insurance. The tow truck driver said there was a 24/7 Enterprise near by at the airport. Enterprise was kind enough to swap out my crippled rental for another truck without delay. That made me pretty happy. It was late by now. The whole ordeal probably lasted 4 or 5 hours and I was exhausted. So, I rented a room. When I returned the truck to Enterprise in Burlington the next day, I explained that I was a day late bringing the vehicle back because of my unfortunate experience on the freeway. I also told them about the key. The guy at the counter was understanding and professional. He went and got Thida, the manager. That's when things went down hill. She asked me where the truck was after I already told the other guy. She looked at me with a look on her face as if I had done something wrong. She said, "Well, we're going to make sure the truck really is in Bozeman." (Why would they give me a replacement if it wasn't?). She said it three times and kept up with her insulting facial expressions. I told her I wanted a discount for my inconvenience. She reluctantly gave it to me. I had to push back. I really am still surprised by Thidas attitude and lack of respect. I'm a manager for a large HVAC Company in the area. And yes, I'm definitely used to getting mutual respect. I like Enterprise. However, I think they made a mistake the day they turned Thida into a manager. Extremely insulting and rude. I will avoid the Burlington location from now on. read more

Not the place to rent a car. Poor service. I called after dropping off my rental to inform them that I left an important item in the car. They rented it out to someone else without checking for the item I informed them of. That and they told me that I could go the next business day to get it but the car was already gone. I just rented an SUV for my 13 day trip. The entire staff were extremely professional and we had superb customer service that exceeded our expectations. This company as a whole has bad business ethics. I am leaving the review here because I rented from this location. Who runs your card THEN tells you they are charging you an extra $100? I call customer support and they told me it was my fault for not reading the fine. Yes, that maybe so but it is not ethical to run someones card then charge them way more. On top of all this, almost a week later and I still have yet to get all the money back on the card that I was told would be immediate. Bank blames enterprise and enterprise blames the bank. Very easy to work with, small office but everyone is friendly and helpful. Had a small hitch in our scheduling with pick up, but it was quickly remedied and they even upgraded our rental as a compensation. My car was in the shop so I needed a rental car for a weekend trip we had planned. I reserved a large SUV with 4x4 to be picked up Friday morning. I was called on Wednesday to confirm the reservation and then called on Thursday to confirm we wanted a large SUV, we were told it wouldn't be a problem. When I went in on Friday morning to pick up the SUV they staff at the Burlington WA Enterprise stated they rented out all of their SUVs and had nothing for us but a minivan which did not meet our needs. They were very unperturbed by their lack of inventory, they had an "oh well, too bad" attitude. I am VERY ticked off by this experience, I am unsure if I will every use this agency again. read more

I Called the local office yesterday to confirm my reservation and ask about getting a ride. I was told I could leave a vehicle in the enterprise lot so I drove myself. I arrived at the office at 5:20 pm to a locked door and a sign stating they would be right back. So I sat in my car and by the time the door was opened again there were four parties in front of me. Just before my turn the lone agent called some other people up to the counter who arrived after I did. By the time it was my turn I was told they didn't have my car available stating they tried to call me. Well they just spoke with me yesterday and they had my car then. I asked what number the worker had called and he repeated my exact phone number. The same number I called him from yesterday and the same number I received multiple calls on today none of which were from him and the same number which he claimed "didn't work!" So now its Friday night and I have no rental van and its too late to make other arrangements. Thanks Enterprise!! read more

Fast delivery service, nice little car, great prices, especially when compared to airport prices. You can take a cab to city Enterprise for pickup, either Bellingham or Burlington and return the car to the airport. They charge $50 extra in Burlington for this service, I used Bellingham a year ago and don't remember them charging me extra for drop-off at the airport (but it could be a bad memory). This year I had my daughter drop me at the airport so we returned the car to Burlington a day or 2 before. read more

My truck was rear-ended at the end of may and I just got it back yesterday 5months without my truck sucked not gonna lie, the insurance company All State only used enterprise so I went with them, they were great in the beginning fast efficient friendly (they did not come get me though they said I was to far out of the way and the truck was on E) I barely had enough gas to get to the station down the road. then I had to bring the rental truck back as it was going up for sale or something, I got the same truck for the replacement. After I picked it up I had more gas in it than the first which was great I took it over to Ellensburg as my parents and uncle passed away and I was spreading their ashes, at 10pm the front drivers tire blew I put the spare on 5mins later it blew I was stranded with no cell service with my 18month old son with two flat tires, the next day my husband and I took the tires into the nearest Les Schwab as we could not find a good year where I was told Enterprise went through, my husband and I put almost $500 worth of tires so I could make it home to where we live In Lyman, Wa. I did not realize that they were different brand of tires then what were on the truck and that sense I did not bring the registration they put HaHa for the license number on the truck, Cole the office manager told me I had to drive back to Ellensburg to have the invoice fixed ( he seemed offended by the Haha) I get needing proper information on things but at the time I didn't have it. I had the invoice fixed at my local Les Schwab and I still could not get our money back, I returned the tires but are still paying them and I put other tires on the rental truck. The Ellensburg and Sedro-Woolley branches told me that Enterprise has a accounts with them and could not understand why I was being treated like this. Cole told me that it was wasn't his fault that I have crappy luck he also told me that he had used my 50$ deposit towards the rental as All State stopped paying for it, I said that was not right and he didn't seem care at all, and that they don't deal with Les Schwab, he was on speaker phone and my sister heard him tell me these things and be rude to me. By me not getting the money back for these tires and dinged my credit and affected me buying my house. The same tire went flat on the truck four days ago I had it towed to Good Year in mount Vernon by Carl's towing of Sedro-Woolley yesterday and I called and told Jessie the assistant manager who has been very nice but I told him that I would rather walk everywhere then use Enterprise again and that Cole was very cruel and unprofessional to me and he is the reason I will never come back.
