Awesome service! The staff are very helpful and cheerful and pretty accommodating. I was there too early at 8:45 am or close to 9 am, and there were not many cars available as those who were to return the cars had not shown up. I will recommend to go after 9 am if you are there without any prior reservation. I was first given a minivan (only type of vehicle available at that time) which was way too big for me to drive. I was told I could change the vehicle if I found it hard to drive which was very thoughtful. Well, I tried (in the parking lot) and just could not drive it. I did not feel comfortable driving such a big vehicle. I immediately went back to the office to request for another car. I was asked if I could wait for maybe half an hour for them to get another vehicle ready (SUV this time). By then more customers had dropped in to return cars etc. I waited and while the SUV was still big to me, it was more manageable. I like the attentive customer service as they actually called me that evening to check if everything was ok, and if I was alright with the SUV. During the week, a notification popped out on low air pressure tires and I called the office. They remembered me and the vehicle and guided me on what to do. I appreciated that. It was such a pleasant experience to rent a car from them. I will definitely come here again if I need to rent a car in future. Many thumbs up! P.S. The vehicles I drove were clean, very well maintained and probably new-ish models. You could also rent a GPS if the vehicles are not fitted with one. read more

We had rented from them for years and though service had been slipping for a while we were still mostly happy with the service. Until our last time dealing with them. Never again! We tried to reserve a car on a Tuesday for that coming Friday. We had significant trouble with their website and weren't able to get it to work until the next day, but then the site said they didn't have any cars for that Friday. We thought that was weird, but okay. We changed our plans and made the reservation for the following Friday. On the Thursday before our reservation we got an email reminding us about our reservation like everything was fine. But, when we called for pickup service at 10am Friday morning we were told that they didn't have any cars available. The man offered no apology, just said that he "should" have one in "a couple of hours" and that we were "first in line" (!) for it. Despite it burning a vacation day and wasting our time we had planned to be doing other things, we waited. For 3 hours! Then we called them back and were told that they still didn't have any cars available and "maybe by the end of the day." Maybe! Again, he offered no apology and showed ZERO concern for the fact that his company had already failed to deliver on the promised service and wasted our time. He never even offered us a tiny discount. Nothing! Instead, he just kept complaining about how "tough" it was *on him* with so many people calling for cars and he didn't have any, like that's our fault that his company is promising services they are unable to provide! He didn't seem to recognized or even care that people rent cars for a reason that it wasn't just a matter of inconvenience for some people. People have appointments to keep, vacations to take, and other plans that depend on rental companies honoring their reservations. We called a different Enterprise to ask if they indeed did not have any cars and why they couldn't send some to fill in service gaps at others. (Some kind of sharing is obviously done since you can return the rental cars to different Enterprises than the one you rent from.) He said there was nothing he could do and asked me to hold while he put me through to his manager....and instead put me through to their automatic survey asking about the quality of the service I received. I did the short survey, including leaving a message explaining the problem and the fact that nothing about their "customer service" had NOT failed. No one ever even bothered to call us back. Luckily, we were able to call Avis (across from the Metrotown Mall) and they had had a cancellation so they were able to rent us a car that day. The man there gave us a great deal (cheaper rate for better car) and even expressed actual concern for the inconvenience Enterprise had caused us, saying that if that ever happens with his business he tells customers to rent from someone else and then refunds anything they pay over the price they were scheduled to pay him so that they are never out anything. Now that's how you handle your business failures! read more
