I needed a rental car again. This time, upon arrival, I was assisted by Abbey and Sebastian. I playfully complained about the car having a license plate from a specific state and requested a different one. Both Abbey and Sebastian were wonderful and shared a good sense of humor. Anthony was there too and helped me with everything I needed. I had my own car back temporarily, so I returned the rental to the their (Anthony's) location. A couple days later, I rented from another location, Varner Rd. Palm Desert where the staff was also friendly. I'll write a separate review for that experience. They provided me with a pickup truck that unfotunately had a slow leak in one tire. Before my rental period ended (from Varner Road) I stopped by the Airport Dr. Location (Anthony's) Anthony to check if he could get the tire to hold air. I had just put air into it and it would not stay in. I suggested that if it couldn't be fixed, I would return the truck at his location and get another car just to make it to the other rental location. I only needed to return the truck at this point, as my car was now ready but in another city. Anthony happily assisted & fixed, put air in the tire and sent me on my way. This allowed me to travel to my next destination without worries, return the vehicle and carry on! From my experience with this car, I knew it would be fine for about two days before needing air again. I'm pleased to report that I made it to the other location and returned the car without any issues. I must commend Anthony again for his excellent service, as well as that of his team. I visited during a week when there was a tennis tournament in town, making it extremely busy with constant customer flow and non-stop phone calls. Despite the chaos, Anthony and his team were always polite, composed, and fantastic. It's clear that not only is Anthony capable of dealing with anything, he also must have the same kind of ethic that he infuses into the other employees at his location. While MY car was in the shop, I had to exchange my rental FOUR times Not in chronological order. 1* Rear seat belt sensor was bad an alarm kept going off EXCHANGED 2*Pulling out of my driveway and I went to go forward-transmission/engine felt like it dropped, resisted going forward. No alarm went off, no brake/braking assist was on. Stopped, turned off the car and restarted....same issue. EXCHANGED 3* carpet lifted, dirty a plus included it smelt like vomit and marijuana. This rental was via Costco app vs enterprise! didn't start out well w the call got a few days ago. confirming if I had a drivers license mind u i rent from enterprise all the time but not this location. I had a very disappointing experience at Enterprise Rent-A-Car at the airport location. When I first arrived, the employee assisting me offered me a Mazda SUV. I agreed and was perfectly happy with that option. At that time, he did not realize that my rental was being covered through an insurance claim. After I briefly stepped away to use the restroom, everything changed. Once he discovered that my rental was through my insurance, he reassigned me to a bright neon green Hyundai Kona. When I saw the vehicle, I politely explained that I was not comfortable driving a neon-colored car and asked about the Mazda SUV I had already agreed to. He told me that the Kona was "all he had" and that I didn't have a choice. It's hard not to feel like I was treated differently the moment he found out my rental was insurance-covered. Before that, I was offered options. After that, suddenly there were no options. The timing made it feel discriminatory and unprofessional. Customers using insurance claims should not be treated as lesser customers. Coverage is coverage, and we deserve the same level of service and respect as anyone else paying out of pocket. Made reservation for an intermediate car. Upon arrival was told that the only option at the same price range was an enormous GMC Sierra truck. If I wanted a more reasonable size car, like an SUV, it would be significantly higher. What kind of customer service is that?. The GMC truck is nowhere compatible and similar to an intermediate car. If I could zero stars I would. After spending the entire day dealing with our insurance company following an accident caused by a careless driver, we arrived at this Enterprise location only to be met with rudeness and a complete lack of professionalism from Maria. She informed us curtly that there were no cars available comparable to ours, which we need for taking clients around for business. When we asked her to call other locations, she did so reluctantly, visibly annoyed, and made us feel as though we were inconveniencing her. She acted as if it was our fault that she hadn't been informed about the need for a comparable vehicle, and her overall attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. After this experience, and seeing the many other poor reviews for this location, it's clear this is part of a larger issue. We'll be taking our business elsewhere. read more

Horrible experience! Reserved a SUV through Costco Travel. Got to the rental counter and all they had to offer was either a Nissan Sentra (too small for four adults) or a RAM pickup which was told it was a 2024 model. Chose the RAM. Got to the vehicle and it was much older than a 2024 with dents and scratches all over plus yellow paint streaks on the passenger side. Not happy!! Complained on the Enterprise website and was basically told there was nothing they could do. I filed a complaint with Costco Travel instead. I've always had a good experience with Enterprise but this time they fell short. Very disappointed!! Five stars for the pleasant service. 1 star for the ridiculous rules this Enterprise has. As an LA resident you're required to pay an additional $400 deposit. Fine, just annoying. We pay and then the agent realizes I'm using a debit, which I rented a car with Avis on with no issues the same week. He tells me he can no longer rent me the car as I don't have an outgoing flight from the Palm Springs airport. My team member who I was renting the car for and already had added as an additional driver, had a flight out of the airport but as I was paying they wouldn't accept it. I'll stick with Avis in future, seems to be consistent inconveniences every time I use Enterprise. read more

November 22nd, 2024, I rented a premium crossover SUV for pick up 12pm on Saturday, November 23rd. I get a call from the location at 1130am on the 23rd telling me not only are they closing at 12pm, they don't carry that class of rental car. I could try the other location. I know I can't I explained the other location doesn't have any premium crossovers available and had reserved me with this location. I wanted to rent a very comfortable SUV as I had back surgery a few months back and had a long drive ahead. I ended up with Chevy Blazer. Everywhere I called was booked, so I rented the car. Of course the car had an edge on the left side of the driver's seat that beat the heck out of my left leg after a few hours of driving. Both my back and leg were super sore after what turned into a traffic jammed, 9 hour trip. After I recovered a couple of days (November 27th), I called, talked about my ordeal, reservation being an incorrect vehicle and asked if I could please exchange vehicles for the class I originally requested at a location close to me-there are a few. After appearing to be concerned and telling me he would reach out to his "management team," no one called me back. On November 29th, I received a text notification that the car had to be returned November 30th, but now I need a car until December 3rd. Woefully, I extended the reservation and bought a gel seat thinking I'll likely be without a car otherwise. Shortly afterwards, out of curiosity, I called Enterprise just to see if that call on November 27th was recorded or ever forwarded to a "management team." The customer rep said there was no record of my call and had no concern whatsoever about that. After I get this rental back, I will never rent from Enterprise again. It's been a while, but I figure I should put this review to warn others. After landing we go to the pick up window, it was a bit understaffed with one person working multiple car rental pickup desks, but it wasn't super busy. Once we get to the front, we finally get the keys to our rental, the dreaded Nissan Altima. Thinking this sucks but it's only a few days. After pulling out of the airport and hitting the highway, the dash lights up like a Christmas tree. The majority of the lights are now going off, it's perpetually gives a warning for open fuel door (I checked multiple times and it was closed), and cruise control is completely nonfunctional. I've rented from enterprise all over the country and even from some bargain bin rental companies and have never been given a vehicle is such poor condition. When returning the car, I report long list of issues to the guy so it doesn't fall into someone else's hands. A week later I get a call from enterprise trying to collect for damages! Fortunately, I had purchased the insurance so even if I had caused the issues, I wouldn't have had to pay for them. But there's a decent chance anyone else in my shoes who hadn't, would have a long series of arguments and headaches ahead of them. read more

We had the absolute worst customer service experience at this location. The manager (who refused to state her name) was incredibly rude and apparently hates her job. Her lack of professionalism was off the charts. Perhaps she's dealing with upset customers regularly because she went from zero to insanely rude within about 90 seconds. I now see multiple reviews of experiences just like ours. Clearly, there's a major mismanagement problem here. We were later than the time we expected to pick up the car due to delays of flight and baggage procurement. She immediately let us know there were no cars available and she had no idea when any would be available. When we complained, she immediately cancelled our reservation and told us to get out. Clearly, they do not have cars for everyone that has booked with them. I assume that was her solution to not having the promised cars? We had an Uber pick us up from there and the driver told us he had picked up passengers multiple times under the same circumstances. RUN...do not walk...from this Enterprise location. Came here to rent a large cargo van, and the staff was great! They had the car ready to go when i arrived, and make the return process super easy as well. Only dower, which is an Enterprise problem, is that we needed another car and I reserved one on the way to get the van. However, when we got there, they told us they did not have any cars and would be closer to the end of the day to get one, which didn't work for us. I can't write a nice enough review for this location of Enterprise (Airport center dr.). After a tree fell on my car, I was provided a rental car from this location. Before I even completed filing the claim with my insurance, Enterprise was calling me with a reservation. I found the experience pleasant from start to finish. Naomi took great care and provided me a beautiful car within my insurance's daily rates. The checking out process was quick and efficient, the car clean and well maintained. I was able to get a rental through Geico insurance. When receiving the car rental they quickly had me initial a tablet with out explaining any of the details. It was on a tablet and it was just a blank square that required a signature. It didn't show any explanation of what your signing. It was hot, I was waiting outside, & I quickly initialed the tablet. During that time I was thinking the signature was for the release of the car but they were very important Insurance documents that Geico didn't cover. I ended up having to return the vehicle and pay a deductible of $500. It's very frustrating because if a worker at Enterprise explained to me the very affordable insurance they offer this probably wouldn't have happen the way it did. Isn't it a employees job to explain the insurance benefits the company has to offer? I went back returned the car and was released a new one. read more

My confirmed reservation was released to someone else because i was an hour late for pick up. According to Enga, this is Enterprise's policy on reservations. In waiting for another vehicle to get ready, Enga said she needed to validate my customer data. I told her everything remains the same, but she didn't have my customer data or any data to validate. She was entering everything manually. When it finally got to my email, I was a little upset and told her Enterprise has all my information. At this point, without any warning, no raised voices, no profanity, just conversation between us, Enga Gonzalez from the Palm Spring Enterprise location took it upon herself to canceled the reservation on the spot because I wouldn't give her my email address, an email that was already in the system. A representative from Enterprise posted a response here on Yelp on Feb. 16 in which they asked me to provide additional information to them so that they could look into the issue. I promptly provided them the requested information. Well, here we are over three months later and they have not responded to me at all.
