The tone and volume of her voice were unnecessary and unprofessional, particularly because there were other customers present who could clearly hear the conversation. I noticed the expressions on some of the customers' faces, and it was obvious that they were shocked by the way the situation was being handled. I want to make it clear that I understand employees have to follow policies and that vehicles may not always be immediately available. I was not upset because I could not get the exact vehicle I wanted. My concern is how I was treated and spoken to as a paying customer. Before leaving, I spoke with another customer who was in the waiting area. I asked if he would be willing to speak with me outside because I wanted to ask whether he would be willing to serve as a witness regarding what had occurred. He agreed and told me that I could provide his information if necessary. His name is Albert, and his callback number is (832) 677-$!#*. My Experience at the South Loop Location I also want to point out that my experience with another Enterprise location the very next day demonstrated to me that this situation did not have to happen. On Saturday, August 15, 2026, I contacted the Enterprise 06C3 - South Loop location, 1406 S Loop West, Houston, TX 77054. They were able to assist me with getting a rental vehicle. I had to arrive by approximately 12:45 PM because the location closed at 1:00 PM. I work at a hospital and had to come during my 30-minute lunch break. I explained my situation to Yenny, including that I only had 30 minutes available. She assured me that she would do everything possible to get me into a vehicle as quickly as she could. I also explained to Yenny what had happened to me at the Pearland location the previous evening. She repeatedly apologized and told me that this was not how Enterprise treats its customers. Kimberly, who assisted me with the vehicle walkthrough, was also extremely kind, professional, and apologetic regarding what had happened at the Pearland location. I want to specifically recognize Yenny and Kimberly because their professionalism and compassion showed me that Enterprise does have employees who genuinely care about their customers. Their treatment of me is the reason I am still willing to consider using Enterprise for future rentals. There is also an advertisement displayed on the wall at the Pearland location that states: "Putting you first is our first priority." I intend to attach a photograph of that statement to this email because, unfortunately, that was not how I felt I was treated during my experience at the Pearland location. I am respectfully requesting that this matter be reviewed and addressed with the appropriate management team. I would also appreciate a response regarding what steps will be taken to address my complaint and the customer service concerns I experienced. Again, my complaint is not simply that I was unable to receive a particular vehicle. My concern is that I was spoken to loudly and disrespectfully in front of other customers and ultimately told that I would not be given a vehicle and could leave. I believe customers should be treated with professionalism and respect, even when a difficult situation occurs. I'd say 3 stars and not 5 only because I got a rental for someone who hit me I had to take my car to a collision place so their insurance gave me a rental, cool except for the rental I got smelled like illegal substances (ahem) even though there's a no smoking sign by the driver seat and before you get in the car. The only reason I'm able to get a different rental after having this mess for a day is because I have a family of 7 which includes 4 teenagers and a very tall 9 year old. And f it wasn't for the insurance upgrading me im sure I would be stuck with a smelly car. I know it's not this specific enterprises fault for the car being trash because the license play says NC but they should take it to get deep cleaned before renting it out again. Unsatisfied with the car I initially received but thankful for being able to get an upgrade from the insurance people. read more

Our first impression of this Enterprise is an unorganized mess. Not enough people on staff to pick us up from body shop where our vehicle was being repaired on a Saturday We called on Monday & was told they would meet us and pick us up at a certain time. We wanted for over 45 minutes with no explanation or apologies as to why they were so late. The vehicle we rented itself is ok, but not as clean as vehicles rented by Hertz. So far, we are not impressed with this Enterprise & if we hadn't been referred to them by our insurance company, wouldn't have used them. Doubt that we will use them again after this. read more

Had a confirmed rental, and when I got there the customer service representative pretty much told us he didn't have our car, and we were SOL. Did not even feel sorry about it, and told us we should have called to confirm.... I did 30 minutes prior. On top of it the customer service email folks do absolutely nothing when you make a complaint. Enterprise offers a pickup service if you are within 5 miles of their location. Setup my car rental the week before & pickup for Monday (was supposedly all put in the car rental notes). An hour goes by and don't see or hear from anyone so I called to check. They knew nothing about scheduled pickup and said it would be about 40 min for pickup. Over an hour goes by & nothing, so I called again. "Oh I will leave now to come & get you." Lost a half day dealing with this clown show. Very disappointed to say the least. I came in this morning because although I had a reservation at another location(not enterprise) and confirmed days in advance, the other location called at the last minute and said they did not have anything available. There was no compensation and they were rude. I called this branch and they had a car available. When I came in, they were very friendly, compensated me for a mistake on their behave and the customer service was excellent. I would recommend this branch to anyone. read more

They are only interested in making money. Service is not that important. I rented a car and was allowed 5 days, told to call Enterprise if I needed it extended. Called Enterprise because I ran into an issue (that I won't go into). Enterprise said they would notify Farmers and get back to me if their were issues extending the contract. They didn't bother to call me at all (and this is after placing one call and showing up to their office in person) Trust what no one says and document everything, time, date and who you spoke to. I now will be recording all business calls or documenting them in real time. I will not use Enterprise in the future. I do extensive travel and use Avis mostly ---never have issues with them. My use of Enterprise was out of convenience this time. read more

I called to get a rent car so I could take my car to the shop today. When you call the local number you get routed to a reservations office someplace. I was confirmed in writing via e-mail with pricing, location, and a specific time. As I was about to leave to take my car to the shop I got a call from the Pearland location saying sorry they have no cars available. So why did your reservations center confirm me? I would have been stranded at the mechanic's shop had I not received the call after my reservation was confirmed. Beware. This happened the last time I rented from them also, but that time they were able to eventually find me a vehicle. Terrible, terrible experience. Today, I called and made an appointment to pick up a car after mine was dropped at a body shop. During the call, I said I'd only be able to give a debit card and was told that was fine, just needed a $350 deposit and some other paperwork. Totally ok with me. Custom Body Shop dropped me off at Enterprise and I wait 5+ minutes while the agents are chatting with the customer. I learn all about Courtney's upcoming trip to gamble in Louisiana, how her birthday is right around the corner and her sorority. When she begins to help me, I hand her all the documents that were requested. She asked where I live. I live in Houston but work for the school district in Pearland. Courtney then informs me I cannot rent a car since this is not "my local shop." I explain that I was dropped off by the body shop and can't just get a ride 20 miles away. She claims to ask her manager and the request is denied. At no point did she show any concern, especially since I arrived with a car seat and needed to pick up my 11 month old. Extremely frustrated and basically in tears, I ask for a ride back to the body shop. I was accommodated but with no apology or even the slightest concern. I should have been told over the phone that you can't rent with a debit card if you are not local (which I am sure is false- I've rented cars numerous times). Interestingly, when I get back to the shop, the owner was very upset with the way I was treated by Enterprise; he called and spoke with the manager (same, different one from before, who knows) and they change their tune. All of a sudden I can get a car from them. However, they will not receive my service. I will be using Hertz instead. Terrible experience from a company I've used for years. I've had bad experiences at rental places. Just rude people, cars not what you expected, etc. this location has none of those issue. I was there at 7:30 when they opened. The manager had a nice smile for me and got me in and out quickly so I could get to work on time. It's nice that I had less to worry about when my car was in the shop. I've rented from them three times, and I've gotten upgrades three times. Idk if they always upgrade, but it's nice. read more

I usually have good luck with Enterprise but not at this location. I was given a rental because my Jeep was getting warranty work done. I was required to get a Dodge product because I own a Jeep. I was given a Dodge Ram PU which I drove until for a couple days until the engine light came on. Then I was given a minivan which smelt like cigarettes. Neither time was I given a contract which I asked for. I was told they would email it to me but never received it. Then when I got the charges I notice that I had been charged for the liability coverage. I didn't ask for the coverage nor did I sign for the coverage. I used my American Express in the even I had an accident. I manager was good about removing this charge which is why they get 2 stars instead of 1. Like I said, I've had better experiences at Enterprise but this place needs to work on their customer service. read more

Excellent experience here a few weeks ago while my vehicle was getting repaired down the road. I called to make a reservation before I went in person and believe I spoke with Regina. Once I arrived to pick up a car rental, it took less than 10 minutes. Very satisfied. I believe Shane and Nick were the gents that assisted me once I returned the vehicle. I had an appointment at 12pm with them, however I called earlier to see if they had an immediate pick up, they sent someone to pick me up 10 min prior to asking them. I rented a car from this location 4 times within a month. The service that we received at this location was exceptional! Each time I was picked up, the driver would help me with the stroller, car seat and base, and diaper bag. We were in Houston for important doctor appointments that would often last the entire day so we had a lot in tow. Transactions were always smooth and fast, and we were always offered a cold water before we left. The car drop off was a quick, easy transaction as well. I always needed a ride home after returning the car, and they would use the same rental so that I didn't have to unload all her necessities all over again. Even though it seemed there were different people working at each visit, I always received the same great service. Nick, the manager, went above and beyond to assist me when I had a concern about the first vehicle and it was quickly resolved. Hudson, Michael and Xavier--to name a few--helped us with all our items during the loading and unloading of each vehicle. I would definitely recommend this location if you're looking for reliable, great service! I was impressed! read more

My husband was told that he should get The flat tire policy for an extra $20! That if he would have gotten a flat tire on his trip and replaced it on his own then he would be charge for all four tires to be replaced!!!! Why even bother making a reservation at Enterprise? They won't hold your car and this is not the only location that does that....Conroe and the one on 45 South at Scarsdale do the same thing. I wasn't going to leave a review however I keep getting emails form Enterprise asking me to leave a review so here goes. I made a reservation for last Saturday for a mid-size car. A rep from the Enterprise office in Pearland called me on Friday to confirm my reservation and asked if 1:30 pm would be a good time for me to pick up the car. Sure, that time works. Saturday comes around and I arrive at the Enterprise location at 1:15 pm. Fifteen minutes early. The office was busy because of the rain storm and there were more people than usual renting cars because they drove through high water or whatever. Finally it's my turn and when I give my information I'm told they are out of cars. How can that be? I had a confirmed reservation for 1:30 pm. I was there on time...as a matter of fact I was there early yet they didn't hold a car for me. I was more than pissed off because this is the third time that Enterprise has done this to me and I'm sick of it. Finally after waiting an hour they tell me they have a car for me. Great...I go outside only to find they are trying to put me into some piece of junk compact car. No, I had reserved a mid-sized vehicle and that's what I expect. Just then some Enterprise folks arrived with more cars and they were able to put me into a mid-sized car. Believe me, if I were renting a car on my own I wouldn't even bother with Enterprise but since it's through my company I don't have much of a choice. There is nothing worse than making a reservation and confirming a reservation only to arrive and find out they didn't hold a car for you and now you've got to wait. The guy offered to give me some points or something toward a free rental....hey, nice gesture but no thanks. I'd rather pay to rent a car from someone else than have to deal with this crap and it's not just the Pearland location. I've had it happen to me in Conroe and I've had it happen to me at the Astoria location. I'm sure Enterprise spends a lot of money on their reservation system and in maintaining it but why even have one if reserving a car is absolutely useless? Get rid of your reservation system and use the extra money to lower your prices or something. I would not recommend Enterprise car rental to anyone. You can make a reservation, you can confirm the reservation but that didn't do me any good. Yes, I know the office was busy because of the heavy rains but I had a reservation and I was on time for my reservation and Enterprise did not hold a car for me like they should have. Instead they gave it to whoever walked up and I had to wait and they they tried to pull a fast one. read more

I rented a full size car for a business trip from the Pearland location. When I went to pickup the car, they told me about a ($50 for corporate account and $350 for non corporate) deposit they didn't tell me when I reserved over the phone. No big deal, it's just a deposit, they will return the money when car is returned. It would be good to know in advance when reserving the car. I was more dissatisfied with the fact the car was dirty both inside out. They need to do a better job of cleaning the car between rentals. read more

This is unbelievable! We booked out minivan at a south Houston location more than 10 days ago and we confirmed yesterday its availability. Today morning 2 hours before pick up we called to check if the person who is holding on the car we are supposed to get retuned it already or are we going to have a different choice like a full size SUV. We are told that they are out of any size and they transferred us to another location. We go to that location and they don't give us the car we have booked already. But they have the var in front of the building. They just don't give it to us. We called the customer service, they were not interested in helping us. I haven't had a worse experience with rental cars in my entire life. And we are at the location now. We are desperately trying to explain why we annoy fit 6 men in a standard size car. read more

On one occasion, because I had arrived earlier than my booking and there was not a car immediately available for me, I was upgraded at no extra cost. Will definitely use again. read more

I made reservation in June for September 10, 2017 for a full size vehicle fora week to go to my Army reunion in Branson. Now they tell me they have cancel my reservation so the insurance company's customers can have a car. This sucks and is very bad customer relationship.
