I needed a car for a trip I was taking up to Dallas one day and down to San Antonio the next. I didn't need anything special... just a car that worked! I originally booked with fox at the airport... whole other story but let's just say... don't! When I had issues I booked here instead! Turns out enterprise was cheaper and it was closer to me by far! I actually booked and picked up with in hours... no issue. When I got here I got an upgrade to a Ford Fusion fully loaded. It is a pretty big step up from what I thought I was getting. It was a great car. It was a no fuss nomucus deal and I was on my way... for less then it would have cost me at my original booking! Great customer service when I picked up and when i dropped off. Very different experiences recently since my inital post in 2020. With my last visit in 2022 and just today (5/23/23) I've learned the hard way that having a reservation pretty much means nothing at all. Both times I showed up to find out that there was no vehicle for me on-site. Last time I was told that they were overbooked and the website doesn't know for certain that the car will be at that location due to some customers not returning cars on-time, etc. The reason today was because the Manager was picking up a car from another location. I even called yesterday to ensure they'd have my vehicle available so I wouldn't run into the same issue as last time. My reservation was for 10am and I didn't eveb leave until 11:45am. I had an appt at 12pm elsewhere so this was a major inconvenience. I ended up leaving with a car with a dirty exterior because I couldn't wait the additional 20mins for them to wash it. Other than this MAJOR issue I typically have no problems renting from Enterprise. So just beware... a reservation doesn't guarantee you'll have a vehicle when you expect it. read more

I recommend steering clear of this Enterprise for a number of reasons. In-store customer service was the worst I've come across in a very long time. The employees give off a very unwelcoming vibe, it felt as though they'd rather be anywhere else but there to help there customers. From the moment you step in, you feel like your business is unimportant to them. I called 2.5 weeks in advance to get an upgrade for a vehicle, specifically asking for a type and model. First of all, they were unable to deliver on the requested vehicle, then the worst part is that they waited until the day of my rental reservation - when I walked into the store, to let me know that I wouldn't be getting what I requested. They had 2 vehicles left for me to choose from the lot. On top of that, they were trying to charge me the same "upgrade" fees for a vehicle I didn't even want and for a vehicle of lesser value. I asked them to give me a call back when the initially requested vehicle would be available for a swap, they never called back even after 10 days. I figured they wouldn't from day one. -1/5 stars, legit one of the worst experiences I've had, spare yourself headache and stress. Swimming in a river of piranhas wearing a meat suit would've have been more pleasant. read more

Shout out to Brendan and Sydd for being excellent with customer care and multitasking! This place is always busy- at least this was our experience dealing with them over the past month. They are friendly and efficient for such a busy place... the original wait time was long (2hrs) with a reservation. Then I had to trade it out later for a larger vehicle with third row and they gave me a car that had a lot of stains on the seats and had been smoked in... a lot. The smell was bad, especially when the air was on. My kids have allergies and we could not ride in the car so I had to trade it out again. The staff were helpful and nice about it. I didn't want to be a pain but this is not what we expected after the nice vehicle they had given us the first time. The second replacement vehicle was beautiful like the first one had been and they had me in and out quickly this time! We are very happy and thankful for the nice staff at this location! read more

What a joke. Context: My fiancé and I were rear ended a few days ago (stopped in traffic, car behind us hit us going 60+ mph) and as you might expect, my car was totaled. Just our luck, too, we are moving apartments this weekend and our first day in our new home is tomorrow. As you are required by law to do within 30 days of a move, I had already updated the address on my driver's license to be that of our new home. We called several Enterprise locations in the Austin/Pflugerville/Round Rock area and the W Pecan location had availability sooner than the others--which is what we needed, since making it to our respective workplaces and multiple doctors' appointments is tough with only one car. It's a 45 minute drive for us, but would have been worth it. When we called, we were told that a credit card would be needed to secure a rental--NOTHING ELSE. Unfortunately that was not the case. I do not have a credit card in my name, only a debit card, and my fiancé had planned on using his credit card. But they were unable to use his card because he isn't on my car insurance; and the only way I could use my debit card is if I also provided my most recent pay stub as well as a bill with an address that matches my ID. Again--didn't have these handy because we weren't told by anyone, nor do I have any recent paystubs/bills with our new address (matching my ID) on them because we haven't received mail there yet. Essentially, our options were a) I take out a credit card just for this or b) I wait A MONTH until I had the satisfactory documentation. We jokingly said exactly this to Lexi, the employee who we had the misfortune of speaking to, and she smugly confirmed. I understand that the universe's timing of this accident and our move overlapping make this a relatively niche scenario, but mine isn't the first review for this location that hints at a pattern of Enterprise being unwilling to work with people who have recently been through traumatic events--the same people their service is supposed to help. Furthermore, what a shame it is for this location to have Lexi as the first person you see when you walk in. She was sour, totally devoid of compassion, unprofessional, and a piss poor representation of Enterprise. We will be taking our business and dollars elsewhere, totally thanks to her. read more

They don't answer the phones. I have attempting to call them for three weeks at different times of the day and they are still not answering the phone. Most people are busy working so we cannot casually show up hence why there is a phone. I am saddened and angered by this simple lack of customer service. read more

If I could choose 0 stars I would. I will keep it short. My Husband reserved a car 2 weeks in advance with them (Progressive Insurance paying). When we arrived to pick it up at our appointment time, we first had to wait 15 mins to then be told that they had no cars but we could come back after we dropped off my car to the body shop. While leaving the body shop we received a voice mail that they did not have a car and that they had made us an appointment the next morning. We could NOT be there at 830 the next day. So the earliest my husband could be there was 11am the next day, where they gave him an F150, empty of gas and going to charge him 5$ a day for the upgrade! He told them I would not like it and they said we could keep checking in with them to see if something else comes in. Because everyone has time to do that daily..I am going to have to drive that thing 27 miles back and forth to work every day. I drive a small electric car. All I can say is, you have been warned. Needed to rent a car while my car was being repaired. Got there early Monday morning and they offered me a couple of choices of cars to pick. Process was complete in about 20 minutes even with customers ahead of me in line. I think that's pretty fast. When I returned the car, it was the simplest process ever. Called before to make sure I could just drop it off and they answered right away. Asked me if I needed a ride anywhere. When I did drop the car off, the took the key and gave me a ride to the repair shop where my car was located. They made the whole process super easy, were very professional and always available when I had questions. read more

Car was mostly dirty and smells like B.O. this car looks like it was In a crash and they just pocket the money and keep on renting. I have contacted the insurance company for a new rental. If your dealing with the two morons at the front counter just give up. The lack of want to help was oblivious as they wouldn't bring up a reservation due to being under my family's name. After first assuming I'm not the person on the reservation they then had me call in to update the reservation name. 20 mins later after the success of name change I walked back inside to only be told there is no reservations available. Wasted time and effort to only find out the entire process was useless. Really need to teach the employees what good customer service is. read more

This location is awful and I wish I looked at the reviews before booking here. Many times I've told them that my insurance was just waiting on the police report before they fully pay for the rental. Not once did people in this location offer any information on how to go about doing this. I was called to extend my contract since I've had the car for almost 30 days. At the same time on 5/11/23 my insurance said they were sending the new reservation to completely take over the rental. I called to verify that I needed to redo the contract. I come in the day after (5/12) the insurance evidently sent the reservation and showed up to redo the contract. I came in and told them my insurance should be taking over the rental. All they wanted to know was when my car repair would be then. I told them 1-2 weeks. They told me they won't need to redo my contract. And I tried to double check before I left. I thought everything was transferred. Apparently, they didn't bother to look in their system to see that the insurance sent in the reservation. Two weeks later my credit card was charged $4500 without warning. When I called them on 5/24/23 to tell them that I was there to resign the contract two weeks ago and that I shouldn't have to pay for all these weeks because the insurance should have taken over, I was told on the phone that "this is between me and my insurance and that as a business they didn't do anything wrong" even though clearly they had the reservation on 5/11. They told me that they can't do anything about the charge because VISA automatically charges every 30 days (a lie because it was more than 30 days). I was told on the phone that "I think you just need to go ahead and bring in the car." Obviously they were paid with the credit card so they were done with me. When we came yesterday 5/25/23 to show the copy of the reservation my insurance sent them on 5/11 and tried to get them to move the charges at least from the date of the reservation, I was told that they couldn't do it because the new contract was just newly signed yesterday, which is their fault. This would have transferred over at the very least two weeks ago had this people bother look in their system when I came in to redo my contract. What an awful experience. Now I'm in the hole for $5K+ until I get the check from the insurance. And I still have this damn rental because my car is not done. read more

This is a small Enterprise, they had a car shortage apparently from some Ford recall when I needed to get my loaner vehicle. They do not move quickly here that's for sure, I was in the office for over an hour waiting for my vehicle. The customer service is very good though and I had my namesake help me out which is probably why it was so awesome! They have to work with what they have, I might update my review when I return my car if it is less painful than getting the vehicle rented to begin with. read more

I understand mistakes are made, but enterprise made calculated errors today. I called a local enterprise for a car because my truck was being serviced, so there reservation's desk booked a car fir me. After being pleasantly uberred to the location, I was told that they had overbooked 50 reservations and there would not be a car available. I was both angry and frustrated because I could have made other arrangements. Then, two separate parties entered this location, and I heard the employees dance their way through a couple of more excuses. When my second Uber came to take me to another location, three stranded groups where waiting for vehicles. Enterprise has always been convenient, but I did not like how they treated customers today. But, the other location had better customer service and cars. In retrospect, enterprise needs to change their system if they plan on retaining customers. read more

While it is true there is a severe shortage of rental vehicles, and many retailers/vendors are struggling to find staff, these are issues across the board, and not specific to this location or company; so I acknowledge them, but this review is not reflective of them. I was at this location three times, and Pam assisted me twice. She was very friendly, cheerful, and helpful both times. She was patient as we negotiated our needs in light of the industry-wide lack of sedans, and helped get us into a vehicle that would get us around, and kept us on the list to switch out for a sedan when one became available. She never failed to meet my concerns and questions with a positive attitude, and helped resolve my concerns about our insurance coverage. It was a pleasure to have her help us! read more

I called to book a reservation they didn't let me know that they were transferring me to the next person. Once I was transferred the person hung up on me not once but twice. At this point I give up and call Burnet location. Super helpful, spoke clearly and confident but unfortunately they didn't have anything soon enough so I had to call Pecan location again. Finally we've got something booked, called to speak with someone over the phone and of course I was hung up on. So then I think, maybe they're awesome in person but they're phone service is terrible. But I get here and then my car takes longer then an hour to get ready meanwhile I'm waiting in the lobby watching people come and go with there vehicles. Definitely wouldn't do this again. read more

After being in a collision and losing most of my identification I was unable to get a vehicle even with a printed license from dfps. GO TO THIS LOCATION! I have a long term rental car with Enterprise and my morning got off to a rocky start due to other reasons, and then I got a call from Enterprise asking to exchange my vehicle since they could no longer rent my car. I was annoyed cause it was another thing added to my to do list, and when I drove up to the location I realized I had forgotten the extra key to the car and had to drive back home to get it and was extra annoyed. Luckily my day turned around after talking to Sean and another guy. They worked with me to get me a car I felt comfortable driving. I'll be in the car for a while, and I appreciate their efforts to help me and didn't charge extra for the new rental. I felt like this location is more hassle free than other locations I've visited, and Sean (the assistant manager) is easy to work with. When someone SIDE SWIPES your car while you're driving it and THEN DRIVES OFF, it can make you hate humanity/want to summon the next plague/stop giving to charity/kick puppies & babies - ahem it can make your outlook on life somewhat cynical for a moment. Thankfully, the folks at this Enterprise made getting my car repaired less of a terrible, horrible, no good very bad ordeal. They picked me up at the auto body shop within 5 minutes of me dropping off my car & then immediately hooked me up with another vehicle within minutes. The guy that was helping me was super nice and went way out of his way to make sure I had my pick of the cars they had available (so nice!). No one tried to hard sell me on insurance etc. My insurance paid for everything and Enterprise didn't charge me any silly fees. rented a car for the weekend, when I walked in there were three young guys who by the smirk looked like jerks. They gave me probably their worst car, it has scratches all around and the interior was very dirty. The seats had stains all over, wonder if someone threw up in all of the seats, I asked the guy if I could have another one but he said they didn't have a replacement for the class I reserved I would have to pay the difference for an upgrade. I just can't believe enterprise would rent out cars that are this filthy, I was driving some folks up to Forth Worth so it was not a pleasure trip but still we sat on towels. I think those guys purposely gave me the worse car they had. I've rented from enterprise before but not this location and it's been good up until now. Well right away I wanted a car because I had a death in the family. Immediately I wanted a car and got it right away. They gave me 5% off because I was a return customer.
