They sent me to Enterprise, who had no clue what was going on and turned me away. I called over and over and kept hearing "your case has been escalated," but no one ever contacted me. No car. No support. No compassion. I've been a loyal customer for six years, and this is how I was treated. I will not be renting from National again, and I want others to be aware of how little support you may receive when something goes wrong.

My experiences have all been good at this location, but my last visit was exceptional. When I arrived at the Emerald aisle, I was immediately helped by Mr. Jadon. He was kind, and quick to help. When I asked for a specific vehicle, I wasn't very hopeful. I usually do a quick search of the Emerald aisle and if there's no vehicle that I specifically want, I tend to just grab whatever. This time I required a four-wheel-drive.. Jaden did not have to go out of his way to help me find what I was looking for, but he did so anyway, and he did it with a good attitude. Maybe the bar is on the floor for most of my experiences with employees, but Jadon went above and beyond to assist me, I was happy to get the vehicle that I wanted, but I travel enough that that's not enough to qualify going out of my way to spend the time too right a review. His customer service was exceptional. I wish more people had his work ethic. It's rare these days. Jadon, if you're reading this, I appreciate you dude.

This office has many repeat clients who return specifically because of the professional courtesy and service provided by Caleb. Caleb is patient, knowledgeable, and consistently professional in the way he assists customers. I have personally witnessed him go the extra mile to help clients. For example, when a customer requests a specific vehicle, Caleb will call other Hertz locations to see if they can accommodate the request so the client receives the car they want. Marcos, who previously worked at this location, was also part of a great team. He has since moved on to another job and is missed. Its a freaking LONG drive!! But I called Longhorn and told them about my concerns and their pricing was much better than U-Haul or Penske or even one way trips from Vegas to Austin. I have to say they did great with customer service in every way...I told them I had one hell of a trip coming up with 20hrs there and back and over 40hrs driving and here's what I rented and what they did to the truck before I rented it to make sure by trip was safe and without problems. - 15 ft, 2019 Box Truck with only 40,000 miles - New front tires - New brakes - Oil change - Diesel fuel and diesel exhaust fuels both full And they gave me their repair tech's cell number to call anytime on the road in case of problems or concerns. Seriously I got treated very well and I just finished my grueling three day drive and dropped the truck off. Also went through a snow storm in AZ around Flagstaff and this truck handled just fine thanks to the new front tires they put on for me. The miles I paid were 15 cents a miles compared to way over 70-90 cents a mile charged by U-Haul or Penske and the rental was very affordable and also my Geico Insurance covered the truck no problem at no extra charge. This is my 5 STAR review for Longhorn Rentals since I have read so many bad reviews on here and I had a really quality experience renting from them! My advice, make sure you know that the truck you are renting has good tires, oil change, good care and give Longhorn a try since they are priced way better than other truck rentals and their customer service rocked!

I just had the worst customer service experience I've ever had with Budget/Avis…read more I reserved a gas vehicle for 12:00 PM on August 6th. When I arrived at the Budget location, there was a sign directing all customers to Avis. I went over there only to find a line about 27 people deep and waited 40 minutes just to reach the counter. When it was finally my turn, the employee looked up my reservation and told me there were no gas vehicles available--only EVs. I explained that I was driving to a remote area where charging infrastructure isn't reliable, so an EV wasn't an option. He then told me I'd have to go on a 2-hour waitlist for a gas vehicle, and even then there was no guarantee I'd get one. I reminded him that I had a reservation for a gas car at noon. His response? "The reservation is for the time, not the car." That completely defeats the purpose of making a reservation. I explained that I had an event to get to and was understandably frustrated. A supervisor came over, and after I explained everything, his response was, "What do you want me to do about it, cry or be sad for you?" I've never been spoken to like that by someone in customer service. It was incredibly unprofessional and showed a complete lack of respect for customers. They offered no solution other than waiting two hours for a vehicle that wasn't even guaranteed to be available. I told them to cancel my reservation. The employee said he did, but I had a feeling he hadn't. I called Budget customer service afterward, and sure enough, the reservation was still active--they had to cancel it over the phone. Thankfully, I opened Turo, found a vehicle immediately, and was on the road within minutes. Reservations should mean something. Stop overbooking vehicles and start treating customers with respect. This experience was unacceptable. Turo for the win.
