They sent me to Enterprise, who had no clue what was going on and turned me away. I called over and over and kept hearing "your case has been escalated," but no one ever contacted me. No car. No support. No compassion. I've been a loyal customer for six years, and this is how I was treated. Zak was extremely helpful, professional, and communicated everything clearly from start to finish. The checkout process was quick and timely, and he went above and beyond to explain things I didn't fully understand without ever making me feel rushed. Because of Zak's outstanding customer service, I'm officially a customer for life. I'm a co-parent and travel to Austin every other month, and Fox will continue to be my go-to rental company because of experiences like this. Please keep Zak around give him a raise, recognition, whatever you need to do because he is awesome and will absolutely continue bringing in repeat business. It took us more than 30 minutes to get our car from the fox rent a car. First off, we reserved a Kia Sportage online and paid for it. However, when we got to the booth, the representative kept telling us we booked a Nissan Kick. And then, he said that car wasn't available either and that we can only rent us the Dodge charger which was a sedan. It newly saying is roomy and it would have plenty of space for our things. Which was bull! When we asked for a SUV, he said he had a grand Cherokee but it would cost us$20 more per day. It was so frustrating. He wasn't trying to work with us. I thought he was being rude and took advantage of us. We ended up taking the dodge because we didn't want to pay more. By the way, it wasn't roomy at all. It was cramped inside the car with the car seat, diaper bag, and me in the back with the baby. We were so mad. We complained to wisecars.com about our situation and they said they would email fox rent a car. They got back to us and said that fox rent a car actually upgraded us to that sedan. This office has many repeat clients who return specifically because of the professional courtesy and service provided by Caleb. Caleb is patient, knowledgeable, and consistently professional in the way he assists customers. I have personally witnessed him go the extra mile to help clients. For example, when a customer requests a specific vehicle, Caleb will call other Hertz locations to see if they can accommodate the request so the client receives the car they want. Ok so here's my experience renting a truck from Longhorn...when I wanted to rent here I was kinda…read moreworried after reading the bad reviews since I was going to drive from Austin to Las Vegas and pickup my stuff in storage and then drive back. Its a freaking LONG drive!! But I called Longhorn and told them about my concerns and their pricing was much better than U-Haul or Penske or even one way trips from Vegas to Austin. I have to say they did great with customer service in every way...I told them I had one hell of a trip coming up with 20hrs there and back and over 40hrs driving and here's what I rented and what they did to the truck before I rented it to make sure by trip was safe and without problems. - 15 ft, 2019 Box Truck with only 40,000 miles - New front tires - New brakes - Oil change - Diesel fuel and diesel exhaust fuels both full And they gave me their repair tech's cell number to call anytime on the road in case of problems or concerns. Seriously I got treated very well and I just finished my grueling three day drive and dropped the truck off. Also went through a snow storm in AZ around Flagstaff and this truck handled just fine thanks to the new front tires they put on for me. The miles I paid were 15 cents a miles compared to way over 70-90 cents a mile charged by U-Haul or Penske and the rental was very affordable and also my Geico Insurance covered the truck no problem at no extra charge. This is my 5 STAR review for Longhorn Rentals since I have read so many bad reviews on here and I had a really quality experience renting from them! My advice, make sure you know that the truck you are renting has good tires, oil change, good care and give Longhorn a try since they are priced way better than other truck rentals and their customer service rocked!

The customer support line was friendly and helpful. The Bad: Bogus $450 cleaning fee. When I called the customer service number to figure out why they assessed a cleaning fee they said it was for smoking. I do not smoke. No one was smoking in or near the vehicle while I was in possession of it. When I called customer service they offered 50% off of the charge and eventually dropped it all together. This appears to be predatory behavior. If you choose to rent from this location, it is strongly recommended that you request an employee to thoroughly inspect and verify the condition of the vehicle in your presence before you leave.
