I had a very good experience renting a 2022 Toyota RAV 4 (standard size SUV) from Enterprise's Bridgeport location this past weekend. I used it to drive a group of girls for a Bachelorette party to and from Whistler. I had scheduled the pickup for Friday at 8am and the drop off for Monday at 8am. I showed up 30 mins early for pickup and was greeted by the staff, who informed me that my vehicle would be ready soon. Then I watched as they vacuumed and sanitized the entire inside of the vehicle. And they washed the outside as well. I did online check-in 2 days in advance so the entire process was very quick and efficient. They explained all the rental details to me and had me do a walk around of the vehicle to check for any damages. I had a few questions about some of the controls inside the vehicle, so they helped answer those questions for me as well. All the staff I spoke to were super friendly and helpful. The vehicle was super clean and in good condition. It drove nicely. I had zero issues on the road. I showed up a few minutes early to return the vehicle and they were already ready for me. The return was even faster than the check-in. Renting a vehicle is not cheap. But the fact that I received such great service from these folks means that the next time I need to rent a car, I will definitely be coming back to them for sure. ICBC customers Beware! Enterprise called my after being notified by either ICBC or the autobody repair shop about an rental/courtesy car. My car is a 2022 Acura RDX which is classified as a luxury compact, and they promised me a comparable compact about a day or 2 before I picked up the vehicle. When I arrived they said the compact was gone and gave me a Mazda Cx-3, which is a sub-compact and very small. I called to complain later in the week and was asked to call again on Monday. They promised me a Kia Seltos for me to pick up. The Seltos was also rented out when I arrived 2 hrs later and I ended up with a sh*tty Mitsubishi Eclipse. 3 issues I) not happy they promised me a vehicle and then discovering it's gone when I arrive 2) My vehicle is a luxury SUV, and the 4 vehicles that I was offered and / or drove were not in this vehicle class 3) trying to pass off the 1st car (Mazda CX 3) as a substitute for my vehicle This company is as sleazy as they come as they treat ICBC customers as a low priority. The worst thing is they will charge ICBC for compact but give me a sub-compact as a loaner just so they can save money. End result is they rip-off ICBC and me the customer! Stay away if you can or be on the look out for this company trying to save money at your expense!! read more

During a routine ICBC rental I got overcharged $297.20 with zero communication from Enterprise and no authorization from me. The charges just showed up on my credit card the next month. According to ICBC adjustor Milly Chan when your allotted rental period is used up, Enterprise is responsible to call you and advise and at the end of your rental you should be advised if additional charges will be levied against your card. At least that way you can do something about the additional rental days (return the car, etc) Fail on both counts. After repeated calls to the branch and messages left for Ivan (the manager) I finally get to chat with him. Now it's past the 30 day window to dispute credit card charges (conveniently) and he mentions this as an aside ... Instead of trying to make things right, I'm told that "you signed the paperwork"... Yes Ivan, I did sign the paperwork and looked after your rental car and accepted responsibility for it - but part of YOUR store's responsibility is to advise of overcharges and end-of-rental coverage. Part of customer service is to make things right. Not point to the contract as an excuse. *** also Ivan: hanging up on your customer that just brought in + $1000 worth of business *** priceless ! Vivian from the Automall Store was great as were the rest of the staff. I took the vehicle from the Automall location and returned it at the Bridgeport road store where Ivan is the manager. I've yet to see an invoice for the overcharges by the way! My advice: Be very careful with ICBC rentals and rental periods. Before taking out a rental, find out your last day of coverage and make sure you communicate with your shop / enterprise / icbc about payment. Because this is a convoluted process, it's easy for Enterprise to pass-the-buck until you get stuck with the charges. Hopefully I'm an isolated incident and your mileage will vary! I booked a SUV for my job at the Bridgeport Location. They gave me a Ford Edge in terrible condition with a tire leak. When I called to switch to another SUV I was told there was no suv and instead given a sedan a Chrysler with a broken heater/ac..I was tired and in a hurry as I had to go to work in the morning. WhenI got into the car I was shocked as the condition it was in. It was dirty with bird droppings on it, the scratches and marks everywhere, etc. The car was also really old with 60.000 km on the clock. No doubt the worst car I've ever rented in my life!! To make it worse I struggled to fit my stuff in the car from the suv. I then called the location back and they kept on lying to me saying they did not have any SUVs and told me to go to another company. Please stay away from this trash company. I recommend Hertz,Budget/Avis or Thrifty newer cleaners cars and much better service. read more

I have rented with Enterprise many times, and told everyone I know to rent with them because of their excellent customer service. My recommendations end now. Here is the reason: I rented a vehicle in November, and unfortunately while it was parked downtown while I was out to dinner, someone smashed the window in. It was unfortunate, but I accepted that I would just have to pay for that and accepted this as my fate. Imagine my shock when I received a bill for $2000. Enterprise took this opportunity to repair every nook and cranny on the car, regardless of whether I was involved in it. I was charged for "paint blending" on the back of the vehicle, nowhere near to where the window was smashed in. I was charged for regular wear and tear on the front door that had nothing to do with me or my use of the vehicle, and was conveniently never marked down in the vehicle inspection report. No tiny scratch was unrepaired. It is incredible to me that Enterprise can get away with this. It is completely unjustified to charge a regular customer, who has always had a lot of faith in this company, with wear and tear that has nothing to do with me. Because of Enterprise, I am having to forgo a vacation to see my family across the country this year. I am incredibly upset by this. read more

My car got write off by icbc.They provided me Enterprise rental car while waiting for my settlement. In first week Jan 18-25. I was unable to used the vehicle till jan 21. I called the representative to make sure that im covered with everything before driving the vehicle They told me icbc does not cover my insurance and i have to purchase it on my own .The rep told me its 9.99 cad a day. who wants to drive without insurance? but then i told the rep i will use the car in my 5th day of rental. He said its ok i will charge you from Saturday Jan 22-25. when i returned the car i saw that my credit card is charged 37.40cad so i assumed thats the insurance payment. Jan 26 icbc provided me again for the second time a rental Jan 26-feb15. This time i knew i shouldnt buy insurance from them. icbc and my insurance broker informed me that i dont have to purchase because my current auto insurance will apply to the rental car. Wow the sooner i know the better. when i returned the second rental car on feb 15. i it ended up ENTERPRISE charged my credit card 137.40cad total. I called them and they said thats the insurance charged. for 4days i have to pay that amount??? Common have a heart. It is not right selling insurance to people whose having bad days. Dont take advantage of people. I still have not cancel my current auto insurance since im not getting any rebates because of this rental car. so i ended up loosing my own auto insurance rebates and paying 137.40cad for my rental car ENTERPRISE. Worst car experience of my life. Called and left a "message" on our home phone (in Los Angeles) that they had overbooked and would not have a car for my family during our Christmas vacation in Vancouver. Unapologetic, and ruined our vacation. Enterprise corporate office did absolutely NOTHING ABOUT IT. Promised to have a regional manager call - never heard from anybody. I have had this reservation for over a month. It is prime ski season in Vancouver and ALL the car rental places are cleaned out. So I was FTR on this Enterprise Rent a car location. This review is for a 5 star review. I rented a moving van and they came through. Even though I had the reservation, there was a bit of a mixup when I had called to their central location to book it online. I didn't have a reservation number and didn't think about it till the day I went to pickup the van. They got me the truck I needed and although they had to figure out some stuff due to the mixup (not their fault) they came through. Once that was done, we did the typical walk around to make sure there wasn't anything out of the ordinary and I was able to return the vehicle with no fuss. Drop the keys off in the little box next to their door for after hours returns and that was that. Staff were very friendly and everyone was helpful. Better than some places I used to rent from before. This location is a bit out of the way and not in a place you'd think you could rent a car from. But asides from that, I think they're top notch. My good buddy Scott and I called this location for our road trip to Seattle to see Faith No More later in the week, however, we cancelled our reservation at this location as it was cheaper to get the car rented from the Granville Street location. Either way the customer service was good. So why 3....'cause we feel that the prices should've been all around universal. Will review the Grandville street location when we return back later in the month when everything has been sorted etc. read more

I had a great experience as my I booked my rental through a 3rd party and it turns out they cancelled my booking without informing me! I was so lucky that the associate who helped me - Jack - was so sympathetic to my situation and helped me get connected with a car the night before a long weekend or I would have ended up car less and had to cancel a trip! Jack even followed up with me after I drove off the lot to see if the car had any issues and when I had an issue with returning the car during after hours (mutual misunderstanding) I emailed Jack to give him a heads up when the location opened again the next day but he replied to my email even on his day off! We reserved an economy car two months ago for our trip when We arrived at the rental office I was told there were no cars available because the truck drivers that deliver the cars were on strike The manager was called over & he offered to buy us lunch Needless to say I was rather upset I made it clear that he make it worth our while as we had a wedding to attend the next morning in Shushwap and I was a regular enterprise customer After some discussion he offered the vehicle for free An Hour later we were picked up and taken to a Mercedes dealership and given a fully loaded brand-new Mercedes C 300 for eight days Friends and family were convinced it was the upgrade that was free They were wrong Enterprise came through Lived up to its promise and gave us the car for 8 days ... Took my Kia to Kirmac Collision in Richmond. I was driven to Enterprise for a rental car while my car was being fixed. I did a walk around and the drivers side was up next to a hedge. I could not see that there was damage on the side nearest the front of SUV Rental. I phoned both places when i saw the damage and i was told not to worry about it because they knew about the damage. Today i recieve a bill for $500. Damages they said I did. I was so upset by this and phoned Kirmac. Enterprise said to me they have worked with Kirmac for years and of course they wouldnt lie. Shuttle failed to pick up near closing (on 9/2). Prior to booking I was assured that the shuttle would run until 9:30pm (and the office would be open until 10pm); my flight arrived at 9:00pm. I was at the pick location at 9:20 when another waiting client had just confirmed by phone that a van was on the way. The van never showed. No answer by phone after 9:30pm. At 9:50pm, I (and the other client) was forced to find another vendor - with some difficulty at this late hour. read more

Yes, this shop overcharged me about $35 too without telling me anything . ( I think those are some hidden fee inside ) The bill they gave me is about $80 something , but they charged me about $120 , when I received my statement . I used the car 2 days ( this is the smallest ,worst and cheapest car they had in the shop with a lot of dent and scratch ) . But I drove it only to work ( in the garage too ) then back to Home garage , the 2nd day I returned it earlier about 6 hours ( there is no bonus back ,even you returned it earlier ) . So, next time I will use another company. They are not honest. read more
