So this place has good rating on expedia website but bad ratings on yelp. And I had a terrible car rental experience in Orlando, Florida in December 2023. But gosh I seriously have nothing but good things to say about this rental car company, because my rental car got hit while I was parked in downtown!! Yea I rented a Camry from this company and everything was good and fine. The check in process was a little slow, the shuttle from the airport was not the fastest, but the car was in good condition at a fair price. In my one week vacation with this car, I was parked in China town at night, getting food with friends. And I come back to my car and my side mirror is completely missing!! I don't know if some homeless stole it, some biker knocked it off. But yea I was so upset and worried how much this rental car was going to charge me for this. I waived the insurance too! And just went with my credit card insurance. So this car company took $500 CAD deposit. I was scared they would take the whole thing and I didn't know how much they would charge me. So I returned the car, emailed them what happened. Yes it was kind of hard to reach them. Meanwhile I let time go by, and they finally assessed the damage 3 months later, and they only charged me $80 CAD and they returned $420 of my deposit. I am so grateful to this company, and I think they extremely kind and fair. So just sharing my positive experience. Will definitely rent with them again. read more

Where should I even start. 1. Paid for the car but still had to wait an hour to get it 2. Had to do a $15000 it's thousand not 1500 as a security deposit 3. I barely drove the car and tried to charge me $600 for extra 500 kms when I dint even drive it for 150 kms in total 4 days then I got mad and they were like no you don't have to pay extra. 4. They asked to pay $400 insurance when I already had insurance. When I decided to cancel my booking, they were ready to give me the car. 5. At the time of return, 4 people inspected the car separately tried their best to find scratches to rip us off another way. Thank god we took pictures in the beginning. read more

Upon the car return, employees scratched the car and then demanded $2,000. I refused, but they still charged it. When challenged, they created a fake invoice from a fake repair shop. Short story: I've filed criminal complaints with Richmond police and MasterCard. They operate under many names, in Richmond and Vancouver, and have an attached repair shop (in Richmond). Absolutely horrible rental car company. Paid and reserved the car in advance and when we get there, not only is service slow, they cancelled the car on us. They said that we should have called in advance once we landed but why would that matter? If we already paid and they knew we reserved the car, why would the car not be ready for us when we got there? Our taxi also warned us about them saying that they don't even check the car for scratches when you leave the lot so that they can charge you for them, which is something they should have taken care of. After the in-person warning, many other one-star reviews, and this actual cancellation, please for the love of God do not trust these people. Go to the rentals near the airport or uber or lyft because you will, I guarantee, get your money, time, and effort wasted by these people. Also, I'm 100% sure they fake their yelp reviews because they all seem to be written by the same person with repeating instances of bad writing here and there. Buyers beware: do not rent from this outfit. It took an hour to get the paper work ready, printed on barely legible documents. The car had a minimum of 15 + scratches and dents. They asked for a $1,000 deposit, and not surprisingly, withheld $250 for a half inch almost imperceptible smudge. At the return of the car, 4 guys inspected the car in an apparently rehearsed show which lasted an hour. We missed our flight and had to stay another day. This is not only an unprofessional place but an organized predatory scheme on unsuspecting customers. The owner who identified himself only as Sam is nowhere to be reached. The shuttle from the airport to the rental site was close, easy, and courteous. While the sign-in process was somewhat lengthy, due mostly to COVID restrictions, it was friendly and relatively efficient. The Toyota RAV4 was new, clean, and comfortable. We drove to Whistler and other hiking spots with no problems. The only extra charge for our one-week rental was having to hire a cab for $16 to get to the airport as we had to drop the car off at 6:45am before the office opened. read more

I purchased the collision insurance, so I figured I was covered right? But once I submitted my claim they started dragging their heels, dodging calls and not answering my emails. Worst experience ever! If I could give a negative 5 I would. My whole family was on vacation and needed a van for the August long weekend to do all we had planned and booked. I booked through expedia 4 weeks in advance to make sure. Our ferry from Victoria on Friday was late so I called the customer service number to say we would not make our 3 PM pick up. No problem was the response. Called again at 3:15 to confirm it would be 3:45. No problem they said! When we got there at 3:45 they had given our van away and proceeded to pretend they didnt know who I was (absolutely disgusting behaviour). The people at the desk were horrible to us and we were stranded under a bridge in Richmond. We did convince them to get us to our hotel. They said they would call us the next day to make sure we got a van so we could continue our vacation. Nothing. And they blocked my number and never answered any of my 7 calls. This company should not be in business. Ruined our vacation of a lifetime. NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!! Expedia offered me a 25 dollar gift card..thats it. We pre paid for the car rental and when we arrived to pick up the car they told us they wanted a $750 deposit (more than what we rented the car for) when I questioned them on this, asking for something in writing that we will get our deposit back and wanted it initialed by a staff member, we were denied service. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM, by far the worst experience I have ever had. I booked through Expedia. Here is all that made it horrible. 1. Call to get picked up from YVR, they show up 35 min later (after I called 3 times) in an unmarked car, nearly missed them. 2. They don't have my reservation have to wait for it to be loaded (1hr passed since 1st call). 3. Charge me $15 a day more to rent cause I needed extra insurance!! I told them that I could decline it, I have never heard of this before, nothing was mentioned in the rental agreement about this. They said it was mandatory and if I didn't pay they would just take me back to the airport. 4. Drop off my car for 8:00 AM have to meet my party at the airport, they open at 8:00 and said they would be there, 8:20 they show up just as another couple and I were about to get a cab. Thank goodness I didn't miss my group. 5. The security deposit that they scan from my card, got processed and I had to call them to reverse it, it took a week. Bottom line super shady business, off the beaten path and would not every consider going back there under any circumstance. I wouldn't have even given them any stars!!! read more
