The gentleman that picked me up was very friendly and good at making conversations so that there wasn't an awkward moment of silence. When we arrived to enterprise a different gentleman was very communicative about the vehicle I'd be renting being at pep boys but that as soon as the vehicle was back they would let me know. Have rented with no problems on my end for over 20 years. Many times. So my car was hit from behind, no fault of mine. State Farm set up so that a member from this company would pick me up and drive me miles further to their rectal shop. A nice gentleman picked me up saying well make this quick and get you back on your way. Just need a couple of signatures. He drops be off at front door, a nice lady introduced herself and asked for my license and a credit out debt card. I explain oh no, this is being covered by state farm and u don't have a credit card nor can I afford to give them $50. She called her manger explaining no one told me I need to give a deposit and she then informed me she couldn't rent car to me. I'm 49 yrs old with blood clots on my lungs, horrible Arthritis in my neck and spine. And i'm currently experiencing a gout attack in my left ankle. I have dropped off and picked up from this location. I dropped off a vehicle and had a wonderful girl check me in, I do not recall her name but she provided very friendly service. When I picked up a vehicle the manager was awesome, helpful and very down to earth. Great spot in an unexpected location! Would recommend to anyone and everyone. read more

I've been renting from here for years. Won't be doing that ever again. Front desk person waits until last second to tell me there's a 300$ hold charge. Like maybe if you you had told me when I asked my price, I would have been able to do something. But you can't sit there the whole time than tell me right before ya charge the card. So unprofessional. And on top of that, you than tell me you can change the hold price, maybe ya should say y'all put holds on top of the payment for the car up front. But yea, y'all lost a customer who's been coming there a long time, do better. read more

I walked there because my car was in the shop and was supposed to be done on Monday, Monday came and my car was still not finished it I was promised it would be ready the next day, well I was promised that for 3 more days this place was so so understandable and it was never a problem to keep my rental for the extra days!! DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Salvatore (car rental clerk) originally implied that I wasn't fully covered and I got suckered into paying for additional insurance even though I was FULLY covered with my own insurance.  When I dropped off the car I complained about how I paid for additional insurance that I DID NOT NEED (per my insurance company), Sal then lies and tries to twist everything around and proceeds to help all the people that came in after me.   I told the clerk that his customer service is HORRIBLE, because I was here BEFORE all the other people and he should help me first with the additional reservation that I booked.   He refused to help me until he helped everyone who came after me.  When the clerk finally decided to help me, he claims that he couldn't find my reservation.  I told him the on-line reservation was through USAA's  website and had a rate of around $15/day.  IN FRONT OF EVERYONE he acted as if I were a LIAR and was EXTREMELY RUDE AND CONDESENDING and said ENTERPRISE WOULD NEVER RENT A CAR AT THAT RATE and he would have to charge me more if I wanted to rent a car. I refused to pay for the higher rate, because the on-line rate was only around $15/day.  I told him that I would need a ride home.  Salvatore REFUSED to have his driver give me a ride home.  I called  1-877-589-5135 to complain about the rental clerk and his HORRIBLE Customer Service, but they really didn't do anything and I had to walk a few miles home. Going forward, I'll make sure to check out the YELP reviews first before renting a car. Because if I did, I would have noticed the extremely LOW RATINGS this place got and would have been aware about the HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE this place is infamously known for: i.e. Review from 4/15: "Beware the manager of this place is very unprofessional and tries to get you to buy unneeded extra add ons" Review from 10/15: "The guy that took my car back was extremely rude. We had an extremely positive experience renting from this Enterprise location. The price was competitive, the vehicle choices were plentiful, and Landon and Anthony made the entire transaction seamless. I cannot say enough about how professional, patient, and genuinely nice they both were in a really difficult situation. They never rushed, nor appeared angry. Even though it was past closing, they went out of their way to get the right vehicle for us. All in all a really great experience and a wonderful way to start a vacation. read more

I had my personal car being worked on at a body shop near by that uses this Enterprise for insurance claims. Never had to setup a rental for an insurance claim so I called and the gentleman walked me through how it works and told me to call StateFarm and they would set it up with this Enterprise. Did that and called back the following day to confirm the reservation (also the day I was picking the rental up) and was told they may not have a car for me. Normally at this point, one would be furious but I am reasonable and getting mad at them wouldn't change them not having a car. The rep said to just come by at closing time and see what gets returned. I didn't really have a choice and I actually got there slightly after their closing time. They were there, stated they did have a vehicle and just had to clean it. You can tell these two reps had quite the day. I imagine everyday is like that for them. But they were friendly and greeted me and walked me through the rental and the contract. Super friendly. Clean vehicle. Only was in it two days and dropped it off again at closing and was greeted by the same friendly reps. I normally rent with Avis but wouldn't hesitate to choose this Enterprise if the need arises. I have rented here every time I am in town, with no issues. No pressure to get anything other than what I reserved. My recent rental was handled by a very professional and good dude named Mike. I believe he may be the manager. Also spoke with a very helpful young lady. Don't be swayed by a few whiney reviews that are dated. Talking about now, not the past. What an absolute nightmare. Was hung up on by the manager, Sal. Was given car types that I did not reserve, constantly. Have had multiple reservations CANCELLED inexplicably when I have actual confirmation numbers already. And the other day, after doing thousands in business, if not more, I was told I should just "find another place to rent from" by Sal, the manager, and he refused to give me his last name or his supervisor's name to file a complaint. Found an empty vicodin bottle in my vehicle. Was promised discounts that never took place. And now, you overcharged my credit card. I thought your company "aims to treat customers the way they'd want to be treated?" News flash: The exact opposite is happening here. Someone needs to be fired, literally, if anyone gives a crap about this business at all. I am done, never again. read more

All my experiences here have been very good. Yes, they do pick you up and drop you back off if necessary. A major convienience. This is all Enterprise locations....not just this one. Find a better rate somewhere else, bring it in and let them match it. The staff here seems to change every time I am in...which is not too often. But my experience with this and other Enterprise locations has all been positive. I would avoid the shop next door for repair work though. Easily can find better elsewhere....especially if there is painting to be done. read more

Signed up to rent a compact car at this location. Received a call saying they only had an SUV which was too big. When I asked if another area location would have a smaller car, I was told they had already checked and there were none. When I called another area location I was able to obtain the smaller car. This location charged my credit card 2 times almost a month after renting from them when my card had already been charged $300+ at the time of rental. The 2 random charges came out to over $90 dollars. I've called their office twice to find a resolution, explanation and to be issued a reimbursement. The 2 times I've called in the past month, they have offered no explanation of the charges and I've been told that the manager would be returning my call before COB that same day. I have still never received a call back from the "manager". No follow-up, no explanation, no refund. The truly concerning part is that my credit card information was kept on file and then billed without any notice, warning, explanation and worst of all-no credit card authorization. Is that even legal??? It feels like they stole $90.00 from me, I feel totally taken advantage of. read more

This office was very quick and efficient in taking our reservation for our vacation to Chicago from Seattle; they verified that we were coming from Seattle and would need a car for a 30 hour period from Thursday morning until Friday evening. They warned us over the phone that because we wouldn't be using a credit card but a debit card that we would be charged a $200 deposit and would be limited to a car rather than an SUV. Fine. Acceptable. Done. When we arrived for our reserved car the clerk told us that because we brought an out of state driver's license we would need an alternate verification to drive the car. He said we would need a utility bill or an actual credit card to proceed. Good to know that you can't rent a car with an out of state drivers license at this office, despite being from out of state and having the need for a rental car in the first place. Seems like they could have warned us about this about 2 weeks prior when we told them we were coming from seattle to rent a car. Don't recommend them to anyone. read more

Was nervous to rent here due to the horrible reviews but my mechanic was paying for a car for me for the weekend and works with them to get billed directly. The girl in the office was very nice, so was the gentlemen that picked me up and dropped me off. Only issue was a mysterious extra $11 my credit card was charged but the office reversed that within a few days. I never received my final receipt to understand what it was for. I should have read the review before renting a car from this location or even Enterprise. How they take advantage of customer without telling them about what the agreeing to because they charged for something we did not want. My wife told the Enterprise agent few times she did not want the optional insurance but still he put it on the agreement and not telling her and so she did not think it would be on the agreement. She specifically told the agent many times she does not need it. From her perspective, the agent was like forcing her to get the insurance but she told him she did not want it. Not sure how they do business but hope they close down soon because they don't care about their customer and charges for something customer don't need or want. Overall very pleased with service, and vehicle (free upgrade!!). I was referred to them by James next door at the body shop (Awesome shop btw!!) and he helped set-up the insurance claim for me, made sure everything was covered and off I went. If I could make one recommendation to everyone its pre-pay for the gas.. Apparently enterprise has a deal in place where they get cheaper gas than the rest of us, so if you know your going to use the car, then why not get cheaper gas, I think it was like almost .50 cents/gallon cheaper than any pump in town. read more

I wouldn't recommend round lake enterprise to anyone looking for professional service. I dealt with a man named Thomas. Not only was he very rude to me, trying to get me to purchase add ons that I didn't need, the beer smell coming from him was so strong it made me nauseous. I did end up getting a car as it was necessary because I was recently involved in an accident but I would never go back to this enterprise. Wish I would have checked the reviews before coming here.
