Brian offered me a tour of mid size vehicles, which I finally choose a Toyota 4 runner. I was truly happy bout my choice & was not wrong for the pick. I needed a second car while shopping for new car. I decided to go with Enterprise and use my points. I had to drive from Killeen to Georgetown so I went with this location. The night before I reserved it online and used my points. I arrived, was greeted and helped after the person that was in front of me. I gave my reservation info. Got checked in and was ready to pay. Then the agent asked if I had credit card instead of debt card. I said yes at home in my house in Killeen, an hour away. Why what's wrong? He explained he can't rent me a car with an out of states drivers license using a debt card. I must use a credit card. I asked well does this apply to service members of armed forces. I am a service member, with military ID and I was in uniform. He went back to asked and was told no. I asked what about my points I used for a portion of the rental. When would it be returned for me to use. He gave me a number to call about the points. I called the number and was told it takes 3-5 days for the points to appear back in my account. I then created another reservation for the one in Killeen. The Killeen location did allow me to rent with debt card and out of states drivers license. Even though I was in uniform and had military ID. I had to show my orders to TX and a copy of my pay stub. However I did take my credit card in case lol. read more

So the people at this location are definitely competent and friendly, but their manager needs a lesson in proper staffing, for sure. I've been renting cars from this location for several years and am a gold member, so this isn't my first visit, nor is it a one time thing. This location is ALWAYS busy, and they NEVER have enough staff. I'm here on a Saturday afternoon this time, stood in line for 43 minutes just to check in, and am sitting now behind 8 other people who have been here since I walked in, waiting to get their vehicles. They have 3 computers at their desk and should have 3 people checking folks in on a Saturday, at the very least. As is usual, they have 1. They also should double their makeready prep team and their expediters to get the cars out faster. This waiting makes it clear that their manager clearly doesn't value MY time as a customer. Other than that, I have had pleasant interactions with the staff each time I've been in, and the vehicles are always clean and have no issues. I would recommend them, but with the caveat that you ensure to plan at LEAST 2 hours for the pick up and PACK YOUR PATIENCE when you come. They have no issues having you wait 30+ mins for them to clean your rented vehicle, or you waiting while they go get the car from an offsite lot. Not once when I've come to this location out of all of my visits did the front desk give me the keys to the vehicle when I checked in and completed paperwork. They have you sit in a waiting room for long periods of time while they get their mess together. I can understand a long line to check in, but that's not the case here. They get you checked in and THEN they start cleaning the car you booked in advance. What a waste of time. read more

Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience at this location. I got into an accident, so while my car was in the shop Enterprise gave me a rental. Customer service was decent despite there only being one worker at the front. After waiting, I was given a rental and the guy said, "we're giving you an upgrade today." I had no idea that I was going to be charged for this upgrade, especially because it looked like it was all that they had available that day. I was charged $151.53 for a rental that should've costed me nothing due to the other insurance company covering the cost. I've called Enterprise many times and I've emailed them about the issue and all I've gotten back was being left on hold for a very long time. They even had a car to come pick me up from my house and take me to enterprise when I dropped off the car they gave me a ride home. I had just had a baby when I came in after a USAA wreck claim, and with everything going on, the last thing I needed was extra stress. My insurance tried to make me pay more for my rental, but Caryanne and the ladies at Enterprise were phenomenal. They stepped in, were more communicative than my insurance company, and truly went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle they unfortunately did not have the specific type of vehicle I needed for an event. After about 45 minutes, I was given a written warning and advised I might be stopped again if any other officer ran the plates. * I immediately called the rental location in Round Rock, leaving a detailed message with an employee named Alyssa. I emphasized the need for a manager to call me back so I could be transferred into a legally compliant vehicle. I provided an additional contact number to ensure a response. * Upon reaching McAllen, I contacted the local Enterprise office. They were unable to find a replacement vehicle until later in the week, after I was scheduled to leave. The employee, Johnny, tried his best to locate a solution, even calling airport locations, but unfortunately had no luck. * Despite receiving four texts reminding me to return the vehicle, I received no return call from the manager regarding my urgent situation. * When I returned the car, there were over 15 customers waiting, with only one person at the desk (who I later found out was the manager). A woman came by to collect keys, and I handed mine over. * She returned a short time later, asking me to sign the invoice. I explained that I would not sign it until I had spoken with the manager, as I wouldn't be paying for an illegal rental. She tried to usher me outside, and I explained the license plate issue again. She checked the plate and claimed it matched the contract, but I showed her the written warning. Finally, she verified the issue, and they canceled the rental charge, which I appreciated. However, I expressed my frustration at not having received a return call and being left to handle this situation alone. She mentioned her team's lack of experience, which I felt was inappropriate under the circumstances. * I also reached out to the Area Manager, Janelle Arnold, leaving a voicemail almost a month ago. I have received no response. * I posted on social media and tagged Enterprise. They responded quickly, asking for details and promising someone would contact me. Unfortunately, no one followed up. Terrible. Stay away at all costs. They rented us a car with bad brakes and took no responsibility when informed. One excuse after another about why they wouldn't do anything about it. The representative on the front desk was rude and unhelpful. Uncaring that we could be injured in an accident due to their incompetence. I will never understand why these companies keep these a-holes on the payroll. Follow up: in spite of being told we would be contacted, the location is now closed. What service! Never rent from here! Ever! They will leave you stranded with no car while your car is in the repair shop. I was trying to look for a cheaper rate (because my insurance was asking for it) since I got the vehicle but nobody was able to help me then they said a manager would get back with me to make that switch and what she does is she acted like I was going to get a better rate/vehicle but because they have ran up my credit cards I was short $200. I tried calling my mom for the extra money and she would not wait til she got there or take the payment over the phone. She's just mad because I called her a liar because I caught her in a lie!!! We rented a Dodge mini-van for our 8 hour trip across Texas. The car was comfy and spacious, but the windows inside were covered in hand and finger prints- it was honestly disgusting...especially during a pandemic. On the way back home from our trip, the dashboard informed us we needed an oil change. My husband was told he was going to be a given a ride home after returning the van. However, after waiting over 30 minutes, he just left and got an Uber home. This time of year is probably really busy for them. We reserved a compact SUV to pick up at 10am, we are traveling with children so needed something ideal for a family but, they gave our car to someone else and promised us 3 other cars that they ended up giving to other customers. After an hour and a half of waiting we finally get into a truck with an extended cab so very small on the inside we have a newborn and could barely fit without my knees pressed against the dashboard. Sadly, after what is going on a year of what i feel like has been absolute torture on my end, and, after reading review after review I genuinely feel as if its the head of the company's fault that these locations, customer service, escalations department, their branch headquarters, their area supervisors and their claims department run things the way they do. I am seriously dumbfounded with how this whole issue has been treated, especially with the severity of the issue. First I was not the person on the contract and after speaking with the area manager I learned they should have never spoken with me from the beginning as sensitive and financial information were given on those calls. However, till this day I can call escalations, give the rental agreement number and have them email the copy of the invoice to my personal email without my husbands authorization and with it not being the email on the contract. Without saying to much, i will advise this whole incident happened all off taking a vehicle in to remove the extra coverage they offer when I had already spoken to several agents to confirm the entire process. I was advised all we would need to do would be taking in the vehicle, have them inspect it, and they would simply remove it(they never mentioned anything about any payment.) Well lets just say thats not how it happened at all. They were advising we had to make a payment to remove the coverage. We explained thats not what we were told and we were advised everything would be CLOSED OUT the FINAL day the vehicle was returned. Even with them requesting payment we advised we would be more then happy to make it however we were unprepared and did not have my husbands card and would have to either make it on my card or go get his card. Which they advised we could not take the vehicle any longer until the payment was made, however they were going to let us take the vehicle to put gas in it. After trying to work with them on making the payment, I requested she speak with the GM to see what could be done as we were misinformed. Thats when everything went downhill. I will advise I was approached twice by who i believe to be the GM as he provided a false name (verified by their escalation dept and another agent at the branch) but one of those times resulted in a injury that led to a permanent reminder from that day and constant issues I deal with daily. I will say i have spoken with their claims department but its actually insulting with how they run their services or speak to you. Their area manager has yet to advise or speak to my husband even once (the name on the contract) that he was placed on the do not rent list nor does he return any of his calls. The day I spoke to him a couple days after the incident, he advised me of the overall do not rent list and advised the reason, which involved me. It wasn't until recently speaking with a sister company and finally getting their do not rent list customer service number, that i learned quite a bit that was added on to it, Which now involved my husband which the area manager never even advised me of and yet again has failed to advise my husband of "which are all false." To say i have exhausted all options on attempting to reach corporate and keep this incident from being put out is a understatement, however it seems as if all the control stays well below corporate. There is so much more to this issue and its so sad to think about how many people they have possibly done this to who have not told their story. At this point this company needs attention and if corporate really cares about their customers and brand something needs to change. read more

Our car is at the body shop. State Farm Insurance told us to pick up a rental car. Worst experience ever, the manager was running around slamming car keys on the countertops. The new employee decides that we have to give him a credit card. So, I rush home, get the credit card, and rush back before they close at 5:30 pm. The new employee takes my insurance card and driver's license but never uses the credit card. So, why did I have to rush home for the credit card? Then the other employee told me they would NOT rent us a car no matter what we did. He then turned out the lights and locked the doors while I waited for my daughter finish changing the baby's diaper in the bathroom. They told me to wait till Friday and we scheduled an appt and even for a shuttle to come get me. Friday rolls around. I hear nothing so I call and no one answers the phone. From 3pm to 6pm. I made phone calls trying to get to there. Today now the next Tuesday I called for an hour straight from 1:25pm to almost 2:30pm. No answer the whole time. Finally when I get connected they have no cars available and their excuse from the manager is they get 100s of calls a day so waiting for an hour to even connect with the store is normal. They can't even be bothered to check availability for other locations since they are "the hub". This is ridiculous and now because of them Im losing money on my job. Disgusting excuse of a business. Someone hit my car Jan 10 and I had to rent a replacement car through Enterprise while my car was in the shop because of the insurance claim with State Farm. When I get the car, they ask for my insurance card. The agent there tells me I only have liability insurance, so I have to call State Farm and ask them to authorize the Collision Damage Waiver. Don't know why I have to be the middle man, but fine. I did that and State Farm told me the CDW was authorized. When I turn the car in, the agent tries to charge me $270 for the CDW. I tell them no, State Farm told me it was authorized. The agent tells me they'll mark the case as Pending and will resolve it themselves. 2 weeks later, I get a charge for $270 from Enterprise. I call State Farm and ask why I was charged. They ask for my insurance declaration page. I send that. They tell me I DO have collision and comprehensive coverage, and that I should have never even been charged for the CDW with Enterprise. So now I try to contact this office to get a refund, as any normal person would not want to get charged $270 for no reason. I call on Tuesday, I get told by the agent that the manager is busy and they'll call me back before the end of the day. They didn't. Okay, I call on Wednesday. Same excuse, tells me manager will call, manager didn't call. Okay, let's try Thursday at a different time. I call on my lunch break, on hold the entire hour, no answer. Call at 3:15, someone picks up and immediately hangs up. Calling again, its 3:30 and I'm on hold still as I type this review. Pretty much convinced they're not going to do anything about this $270 charge. If you love losing money after getting your car hit and hate people that do their job, then by all means this is the location for you. EDIT: I received my refund after 11 calls. I have been renting from enterprise for decades.. I went to Enterprise in Round Rock, Tx. on Mayes street. Which I have rented from this location for 4-5years. I go in the entire staff is quiet.. I go to pick up me car and the manager must have said something in their meeting because they pretty much started attacking me as If I stole a car or lied to them about something. Even after I explained how long I have been renting from them.. they couldn't find my name in their system gave me nothing but problems and canclled my reservation! I was so out done!
