1. Hertz - reservation for 12 arrived a little after 12 with the tag in my reservation as shown they will hold the car. Arrived at this location at this location just after 12 and multiple employees inside helping other customers. Refused to open the door and simply pointed at the closed sign. I was one of two customers outside. 2 Hertz employee - One of two employees behind the counter w a large beard guy behind the counter came out with a customer and asked if he can help me but just said no despite what hertz notes in the app. When taking a picture of the phone number on the door to Hertz he assumed I was taking a picture of him turning around smiling at me behind the locked door and posing with a thumbs up. Feel sad for this individual for Hertz short coming but also his behavior cause he was obviously not in the best of places. Hope this review invokes change to your system @hertz because this does not exude alignment with what cx should be as a presidents circle member and frequent renter. Even as a regular everyday renter this is a poor experience. Asides from the disruption to visit loved ones for the holidays having to spend an additional 80 dollars to uber to the airport to rent a car, uber back and forth from this location to the tune of 30 dollars, it was a poor experience in business standards. Do better and hope the employee here has a better situation to put him in a better mood for the holiday season. read more

Just a heads up. Renting Hertz Tesla through Uber has a $9.99 daily toll convenience fee ( not including the regular toll charges . As a Uber Diamond driver in three months of renting the Tesla I paid well of $600 in convenience fees. No explanation what a convenience fee is. There are many complaints about this. I am requesting a full refund for all convenience fees paid. BE CAUTIOUS UBER drivers. read more

Paid for full coverage and was told it would only go until Friday and if I wanted it to continue I'd had to call in to extend it. Then I found out they extended it. Then they lied saying they charged my card daily for full coverage but it was all summed up in the final charge. James lied to cover his butt from making a mistake. I will not rent from this office again -- very poor customer service. They charged me $20 because a tire sensor showed one tire a couple PSI low. I had the card 3 days -- the slow leak may have existed before I picked up the car. Why is that my fault? The local office would do nothing. Called the national office and got the $20 credited back. I booked a car with Hertz in the middle of the rental car shortage. I booked it two months out. I ended up having to cancel it 35 days prior to my trip. I was charged $50 to cancel when I know full well they will turn around and rent that car without my discounts at twice the price. During Covid, most companies are allowing for cancellations without penalty but not Hertz! I tried to call and argue the fee but they were going to charge me 5% of my rental fee to speak to someone on the phone. Never again. Thank God for Turo. read more

Picked up a Tesla while my vehicle was being serviced with an unknown eta. The original agreement was for one day. Cody and the lady I spoke with were very friendly at first. I asked about extending the rental and the lady said that I just keep the vehicle and it'll be automatically charged to my card and after a week the rate will automatically switch to the weekly rate. After 6 days I received a call saying my rental was past due. I spoke with someone who told me the rate had increased while I was renting the vehicle and the weekly rate was $200 more than when I picked up the vehicle. I immediately had to leave work to pick up my broken vehicle so I could return this Tesla. When returning the Tesla I was told that the weekly rate never actually changed so I took a day off of work for nothing. The lady who originally rented me the vehicle decided to chime in and start lying about what she had told me originally regarding the extension. She claims she told me to call or email her and handed me a business card but that was never done, Cody was the only person who ever gave me a card. I'm not sure why this employee feels the need to lie about something so small but it definitely does not sit well. The man who was checking the car in was assuring me that I was still being charged the same amount but failed to let me know I was also being charged a late fee for multiple days due to the carelessness of the other employee. Use Enterprise, they'll get you taken care of in the most respectable way possible. read more

Would rate a zero if possible. Booked a truck online and was called later that day to tell me they don't have a truck available. My card was already charged for the car and was told it would not be refunded for 7 days. Horrible that you would charge someone and take so long to refund for your error. They said they were overbooked by at least three and offered no other solution. read more

The Batmobile had a booboo and had to go to the hospital to be fixed, more on that booboo in another review. So the insurance company provided me a rental car form Hertz. I dropped the Batmobile off and called Hertz to come pick me up, since they were just across the street they picked me up in 5 minutes and took me to their spot in the strip center. We did all the paper work and I had my car in less than 15 minutes. The Chrysler I got was fine and I had no problems with it. I returned it when the Batmobile was ready to pick up and they drove me back to get the Batmobile. Service was fine and quick and it cost me nothing since the insurance company paid for it. Would I go back? Yes, but hopefully not for the same reason. read more

This is ridiculous to the fact when a customer walks in to rent a car and has to wait for over 45 minutes after they rented a car, due to the cars being dirty and smelly, to top it all off, for two customer reps argue over a rental car that was just turned in and clearly dirty and smelly. *Update: I received my refund. I was left on 12/23/2016 standing outside of a closed Hertz location with my reservation in hand. With numerous phone calls to THIS location, and what passes for customer service, I was told that THIS location had my car that I had paid for in Georgetown. I was also told that Hertz had been sending me emails and calling me, leaving SEVERAL messages FOR A WEEK. I received ONE missed phone call and NO messages. "Customer Service" told me the email address that they had been using, and it was MISSPELLED. They did not even take the time to verify they were sending mail to the correct address. Does it not speak to reason that if a person has a PAID IN ADVANCE RESERVATION they would be concerned about this, and respond if such messages were left? One would think so. Therefore I got NO messages that the location I had reserved a car would be closed three hours early on that day (two hours before I was scheduled to arrive). So, the problem I have with THIS PARTICULAR location, is that they did not answer their phones when I tried to call them BEFORE BUSINESS HOURS WERE OVER. They did NOT attempt to contact me more than once, and the one attempt ( missed call, no message was left ) was the day before I was scheduled to pick up the car. Then I was OH, SO POLITELY ( and by that I mean not at all politely) told that the only option I had was to make a trip to the AIRPORT and get a car. No apologies, no offers of returning my money, nothing. The best she could do for me at customer service was to ask me "What do you expect me to do?" Had a confirmed rental with Pick-Up service. Never got a confirmation for pick-up, and nobody ever picked me up. Since I was running out of time, I had to drive my own car to my destination. Anyway, if you are trying to get pick-up service, you will probably need to take the initiative and actually call them up, although considering they can't even follow their own process, I'm not sure I'd even be comfortable with this. read more

If you rent a car here, don't expect to be able to leave a car parked in the lot. The customer service guy at Hertz said I could park anywhere in the lot. It's a strip mall so I parked away from the businesses as to not take prime real estate. I come back from a 4 day trip only to find I was towed. Not only did we have the worst experience with this company... three weeks later they took $26 out of my wife's bank account for a "toll charge". My wife never took a toll road in this car. When she called hertz to ask why she was charged this, they said they went through a 3rd party that charges for the tolls. She called the 3rd party and they refused to send any kind of bill or picture from the toll road proving that she has gone through it. So, since they were no help at all she called the ACTUAL toll company that would have all that information if she did go through it. She gave them the day, the time, the exact toll name and the license plate number of the rental car AND surprise.. they could not find anything!!! So, she called hertz back again and asked to speak to the manager and the lady that answered the phone said "he's busy" and she requested that he call her to sort this out. Now 3 weeks later she has yet to hear anything from hertz about this fraudulent charge. Do not use this company unless you want a car that breaks down, people that don't care, and money taken directly from your bank account without notice or reason. WE WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. read more

They will rip you off. I was placed in a rental car after a wreck. The lady who hit me had insurance. Her insurance stated they would cover a rental car in full. Went to get my rental car and before driving away I specifically asked the lady if everything was covered by the insurance and I was told YES. After returning the rental car I was told I owed over $300 and the insurance did not cover all of it. I immediately called her insurance and was told they would be covering it. After explaining this to the gentleman when returning my car he said no they were and they weren't covering coverages. They paid for the rental, but not coverages added. I never added any coverages. I explained this to them and they stated they called the insurance and they still said no. The gentlemen called twice yesterday and informed me that the charges still stood and would need to be called back by 6pm that day. After being in the hospital all day I was unable to call. I checked my bank account the next day and they PULLED out the money from my account without my authorization. No where in the message did he state they would be pulling the amount from my card. When I called to explain to the gentlemen the situation he stated that he called twice and by stating I needed to call back by 6 it meant they would be closing out the account and pulling the money. This is BEYOND ridiculous. I will NEVER use them again. I work hard for my money they can't just pull out money whenever they please. AWFUL. read more

Horrible expierence! First, they only have small cars available. The lady said she would get me in a larger car as soon as they got one in.. the 2plus weeks I had it never heard from her. Turned the car in and forgot to fill the gas tank.. Wrong!!! The tank couldn't have heard nor than 10 gallons and they charged my card $104.00 for "service charge" that is like $9.99 a gallon!!!. My reserved car was not ready, so the agent automatically 'upgraded' me to a full-size model at no charge. I did enjoy the ride, until I turned it in and was initially charged for the 'free' upgrade. After having to explain what prompted the upgrade, my charges were adjusted accordingly. read more
