What a difference a competent rental car location can make... All the difference in the world. This location consistently rocks (in a positive way). It has been several months since I have rented from this location, and this most recent Rental experience was exceptionally good Having recently rented from a competitor, with a rental experience that was beyond bad. The agent assisting me in the Rental checkout was polite, professional, and made sure the car was safe to leave the lot. She even checked the tread depth on the tires (huge bonus points) My rental Car drove exceptionally well, and they even upgraded me since they didn't have my full-size vehicle available when I arrived to pick my rental. The return experience was a little chaotic because of all of the cars and activity going on in the lot. The same agent checked me in, that checked me out, when I got out of the car, she said, welcome back, Mr. (my last name). - Pretty dang impressive I was happy with my daily Rental rate... Needed the vehicle for just one day, exceeded all my expectations. My last Rental experience about a week ago with a competitor my companion kept reminding me or trying to educate me that I should have gone with Enterprise. She kept saying Enterprise will treat you right and not like this... She was right If you're looking for a short-term a long-term rental, I highly recommend Enterprise I know this location does a lot of insurance rentals, and there may be issues associated with that type of transaction, but for the traditional Rental experience, short or long I think you'll be very happy with this location of Enterprise,k. give them a try. Needed a car for the weekend, the online reservation process was quick and easy. Arrived to pick up car and they were out of what I rented, no problem, I was given a free upgrade. The attendant and I pre inspected the car for any damage, was given the keys and off I go. The only negative here was the smell of the cleaner they used. It as a very strong Lysol smell that remained with the car throughout the rental no matter how many times I rolled all the windows down. The employees were very nice and the key return drawer is very well fortified. read more

Went in today to pick up a car after mine was totaled. Since the other person's insurance was paying, I was to receive what I was told would be a Corolla class vehicle. When I arrived, Aiden offered me a Miata or a sub-compact Mistubishi car. I'm 6' 3" and just cannot fit in a car that small. I asked if they had any other vehicles and was told no. So, I asked if he would call the other Enterprise office in Georgetown. "No, you need to do that." I was told. I asked why and he responded that "you will need to give them your information." But I just gave you all my information I replied. "Well, you still need to call them." Aiden responded. "Are you saying you won't call?" I asked. "No, I am not going to help you." he responded and sat down. So, I left and went to the Round Rock office and they took care of me. The guys at this establishment were fantastic. The first day I picked up the car, took it home and noticed the AC was making an awful noise. Called them to let them know and brought it back the next day. Exchanged it for another car and no problems with the guys or new car. Communication was easy. Don't understand why anybody would have complained about communication unless they came in with an attitude or bad day. Enterprise is my go-to for rental cars. Been renting from the company for years in various states, and have another car scheduled for upcoming trip in Michigan. read more

I recently rented a vehicle from the Leander Road location in Georgetown, Texas. I returned the vehicle an entire day early. I expected to be reimbursed for the day I did not have the vehicle. Previous times I have rented from enterprise they kindly made adjustments to my rental agreement. This time, however, the manager at the location was rude, laughed at my frustration, lied to me, told me she didn't care if enterprise lost my business and told other staff members not to help me. Hope the B on a power trip got whatever satisfaction she could out of having me wait outside in the heat for an Uber when she canceled my reservation after I took an Uber across town to pick up the car. The "save when you pick up your vehicle" online steps when you make a reservation - absolute lie. I rent cars all over the country - usually through National, which, thankfully makes it SUPER EASY to walk on the lot, pick a car, and drive away (and the return is just as simple. Enterprise is the only company I've ever rented through that demands (as in, won't let you make the reservation otherwise) you provide a second number (whether you have one or not) when you're renting the vehicle for less than 24 hours, then wants all of the information on your insurance card (although they don't let you just send the card - I asked). My car is in the shop and I wanted to rent a car for the afternoon to run some errands, then drive and return it to the airport location the next morning. Not necessary - I could just Uber to where I needed to be - but it would have be a little more convenient and save a little time to just rent a car for a day. The Austin Ave location let me reserve online, then called 20 mins before my reservation time and told me they didn't have anything available for 1-way rental. Ridiculously fraudulent system then, but whatever. Called the Leander Rd location, they said they had it and could use my existing reservation. Cool. Immediately got an Uber across town, and encountered the most asinine rental company policies (that the employees couldn't manage) and the worst customer service I've ever had from a rental company (that the employees could control, but apparently get a kick out of wasting peoples time and money). I've honestly had better service from minimum wage employees at a dollar store than I got from this woman, considering I was irritated at the polices and the time they were wasting. They want to play 20 questions with your insurance information (which was not asked for online and would have actually saved time). I asked if I should just send the card, and got a rude response from the woman who I assume by her behavior is in her first assistant manager role. So I started looking on the document for the information they were asking me, and not five seconds later the snarky B tells me they were going to decline my reservation. I had not cursed, I had not personally insulted them, had not threatened them, and other than being visibly annoyed at their policies, there was zero reason to decline service. However, it wasn't worth arguing over - if she was clueless enough to cancel my reservation without a valid reason, no amount of trying to reason with her was going to result in anything other than more of my time wasted. So back outside to the 100-degree heat to wait for another Uber and call their customer service line while I waited. I hope yielding the little power she has made her feel special. This must be the two worst locations for the worst rental company. Never again. read more

This Enterprise is awesome! I'm really unsure as to why this location has such poor reviews because this Enterprise was the best experience I have had with any rental car company ever! The guys here really took care of everything for me and helped me out with my car rental I got for an insurance claim. It was quick and easy to pick up the car and I had the rental for a week. They even called me after the rental was complete to correct the billing straight away with my insurance. Everyone was so polite, accommodating and chipper for how early in the morning I came in both times. I even joked and told them I wish I had another reason to rent a car to come back. Honorary shout out to Dave, who picked me up and dropped me off. Dave was so kind and polite and gave me some great life advice I think I'll always live by! He really made my day. Manager is a piece of work. Trying to claim damage on something that is smaller than all their little tool cards. Things were coming in with smashed windshields and they were trying to get $100's of dollars for a pea or marble sized surface dent that wasn't even visable without them doing all sorts of contortions. They are just trying to get paid extra and are taking advantage of people. I left Hertz for poor customer service, but its better than sleazy managers trying to make false claims on standard wear and tear. read more

Backstory: they towed my first rental and sent me to N Mays location. N Mays manager treated me like I was a threat and had his hands up the whole time like I was going to shoot him (I was unarmed). He refused to help me and I was sent to Pam, an Angel. After struggling with the N Mays location, the lady worker (not the boy manager who thought I was going to shoot him) connected me with Pam, the manager, from the Georgetown location. She was super sweet and apologetic on behalf of the N Mays location. Pam let the manager from this location know to transfer my reservation to her location and that we could have any car off the lot. When arriving to Pam's location, she worked quickly to make sure I was in a vehicle and taken care of. When getting the vehicle, she pointed out any flaws/damages already done and let me know it was documented and taken care of on her end. She was super sweet the whole time! I highly recommend going to this location as they are they are kind, understanding, and super welcoming! read more

Horrible Customer Service! Enterprise used to be pretty good but not any longer! I had to wait forever even though I had reservations. The female employee who was told to show me vehicle, etc remained on the phone answering calls then after about a half hour or more, decided she would help me. The vehicle had low tire pressure warning when I drove off. I turned around & brought it back. The same female said it was fine & if I was worried, I can bring it to have it checked. This morning, a warning came on. I brought it to a tire place & they said the tire had a leak. Again, went back to Enterprise & they gave me another vehicle but smelled of feces!!!! Outrageous! We're 20+ year Georgetown resident homeowners. Kids graduated HS here etc... After reading other reviews and having very similar negative experiences I feel it's necessary to speak out. I'm deaf and will tell you this company does not care about losing a few hundred customers. Being the largest U.S. car renter, they just don't care. Both Georgetown Texas locations are same. Avoid them both. I always start by telling people I'm deaf when I'm doing/conducting business. The manager Adam at Leander Rd had his poor feelings hurt when I told him he was being rude. While trying to fulfill a simple confirmed reservation, I had to keep asking him to repeat questions and his facial expressions were downright rude. (Remember I read lips and watch faces to communicate.... for the past 43 years starting at age 7). Adam tells me he wasn't being rude, wouldn't be renting to me anymore and that I need to leave the store. (sound familiar). Adam then said I "could try elsewhere if I wanted", sending me to the other Georgetown location and even offered that I go to Round Rock, a 30 min drive away. We went to the Austin Ave location in Georgetown and they told me they had no vehicles for the next week but I could try Round Rock "since it's a bigger store". Both Georgetown managers have deliberately and knowingly lied to me at this point. This is borderline harassment with added discrimination all due to my hearing disability. I drove 30 mins out of town to the Round Rock location. The manager at the Round Rock store finally told me the truth... after two hours of driving my family between 3 different stores.... we find out Adam had placed my wife (who never encountered anyone at Enterprise) and me on..... The Enterprise Blacklist. DNR. Banned from renting. ROFLOL I'm now banned at Enterprise because I told Adam he was doing a terrible job and Jordan the assistant manager is much better than him at his job. (LOL) Adam didn't like this apparently but it's 100% truth. Ask around town, read the reviews. (Oh no, what will I ever do??) I'm banned. Oh. No. I'll gladly never go to any Enterprise car rental again. People, if you are deaf or hard of hearing like me. (Sun City Residents) This company does not care about you. Enterprise employees (including regional managers in Texas) are ADA violators!!! I contacted the people (Chris, Lisa, John) that reply to these reviews and heard nothing back. Why? They don't care about Americans with Disabilities. Do not go to the Georgetown locations. Do not rent from Enterprise Holdings. I went to the competition to rent our car, after all. The manager there spoke so I could read his lips. He even asked if I could hear him OK after talking for a few minutes. That's respect. I never got/get this at Enterprise. So please. My wife reserved a vehicle for 7 days. I went in to pick it up and told them I had 5 days free rental I wanted to use. They told me no problem just contact enterprise Emerald Club and let them know. I called and Emerald rep said it would be no problem they could take care of it at the store front at end of rental. I talked to counter rep and he said it would be no problem. At end of rental, guess what....problem! Now they are scrambling to figure it out. They told me not to worry, they will not charge the card until this gets resolved. They tell me to come in next day and talk to manager. I go in and manager says I need to talk to Emerald for the 3rd time. Emerald says the front desk person should be able to resolve this. Back to the office and the manager says there is nothing they can do the contract has been closed out. Be careful with this location take lots of pictures and do not leave any T's uncrossed. They act like everything is easy to fix, until it is time to fix it. Then it can't be done! Never had any company act so incompetent in my life. I should have walked out after I watch two customers come in complaining. Their terrible rating is well deserved. I also had low tires when we left. Told my wife to drive POS home and I will fill the tires. Walk through the doors if you feel lucky punk! Do I have a quality car for you, well do I? Lol. read more

Can I give no stars? I was trying to coordinate my rental for insurance claim. Enterprise was giving me inaccurate info that I would have to pay out of pocket. My insurance said I was fully covered per day. My insurance had to call location to fix issue #1. Next, I scheduled a pickup to get my rental on a Friday (which they offered). When I called to be picked up on Monday at time of appt, I was informed that I did not live within service area for pickup service Issue #2. I couldn't get my car final issue #3. I made a reservation for the Georgetown, TX location and when I showed up they demanded a 2nd phone number. I don't have a 2nd phone! I have an Emerald Number and my account has an AMEX card and a debit card. I have a long history. WHY are they demanding another phone number? Then they wanted a relative's number, of all things! I repeated what I just said here and THEY REFUSED to give me a car!! I started to give them my son's number and the manager said no, I refuse to give you a car because, he said, I disrespected him and his staff then told me to leave! I used no foul language and did not call anyone names! He has not only cost that location future business but Enterprise as well. This location appears to have more bad reviews than good. Very unhappy with the service I received. This location is terrible. The cars you rent are either damaged , sides are coming apart and management makes excuses about them, stating that it's the type of car. I was waiting on a car and had signed all the dotted lines and they end up giving it to someone else. I then had to stay there and wait on another car. Someone pulled up to return ONE. They said that they were going wash and clean the car for me and that was not the case at all. I think it was vacumed only and then brought to me. Absolutely the worst customer relations experience! Rented with an insurance claim paid rental. Allowed 30 days, not even a week into rental, I was contacted directly from the location for payment on rental. My insurance company is a million dollar company. I completed an insurance claim rental with the Round Rock location last year. Difference in experience is night and day and never had anyone contact me for payment on a vlaims rental. Imagine have your personal vehicle in repair and the 1st week being contacted directly to be the "middle man" for payment on the rental. Never have i ever needed to collect any payment for a car rental company for a service that has already been paid. I was shocked and anxious for the constant badgering from representatives of this location during the duration of the rental. I rent with enterprise, i even completed an insurance claim with the roundrock location last year, with no issues, and the experience was by far the best in customer relations. Overall, beware of location. You will become there employee and act as accounts receivable and do their job for them by being the middle person. read more

I took my car to Mak Haik in Georgetown for repair of the AC unit. I was immediately yelled at by "Chad", a Service Writer, who seemed to have information about my car that I did not. Chad started to tell (yell at me) that if the part that failed is an 'aftermarket' part, it would not be covered under the Premium Warranty I paid $3,800 for. This was on Thursday for an appointment made several days before. I had to leave to go out of town the next day but Chad said the car wouldn't be ready until Saturday. I got a loaner from Enterprise who advised me that if the car repair was not covered under the warranty, I would have to pay for a rental. The warranty provides that loaners are Lincolns. Chad from the dealership called me Thursday and told me that the A/C condensor was leaking Freon and the condensor (or compressor) was an aftermarket part so it was not covered under my warranty. I understood now that my loaner was now a rental. The rate per day for the Lincoln was $45 per day x 5 which should be $225. Then there's the matter of the mileage. Enterprise allows 100 miles per day free. Friday morning we drove to the Dallas Airport (130 miles one way or 260 miles both ways) and parked it in the "Corporate Service" lot. We left on Friday morning and returned on Sunday. We returned the rental car on Monday and I was charged over $450! How do they figure that mileage?? Five days with 100 miles per day allowed, should have been 68 miles per day; well within the 100 miles per day allowed free mileage. The car was returned with a full tank. So why wasn't I charged only $225 for the rental? How does Enterprise justify charging me over $200 for mileage when they allow 100 miles per day? The dealership, Mak Haik Georgetown has a pretty cruddy reputation - the Enterprise car rental attached to this dealership also shares a bad reputation. I intend to pursue a refund of the money I paid for the loaner-turned-rental. I will NEVER rent from Enterprise Georgetown again, nor will I frequent the dealer again. Read the reviews of the dealership "Mak Haik Georgetown" to get an idea of how they treat their customers. I was ripped off by Enterprise who charged me for mileage well over the 100 miles free per day. I had the car for 5 days and that's only because 'Chad' couldn't put the car back together so I could pick it up on Thursday, Chad said it wouldn't be ready until Friday and Friday we had to get to Dallas fast to catch a flight. For 3 days the loaner-turned-rental car sat in a parking lot at Dallas Airport. Monday it was back at Enterprise in Georgetown. Don't use the Enterprise in Georgetown, you'll regret it. read more

My husband had just been to the accident site where I was in a serious crash. He was taken to Enterprise in Georgetown to rent a car as mine was totaled. They asked him if he wanted their collision protection plan and he declined thinking our private auto insurance covers that. What Enterprise did not explain to my husband was by declining it they would be charging us $23 + per day for declining this. Turns out our private insurance does cover us for collision in a rental car but will not pay for the per day fee for declining this policy offered by Enterprise. We personally had to pay for our rental car for 3 days at $44 per day after the time limit covered by our insurance company. Our VISA was charged over $600 due to this additional per day charge for declining their collision policy for a total of 19 days. This is appalling to me and I will not choose Enterprise again for a rental car. read more

I'm so disappointed with the non service I received this morning. I had a reservation to for a full-sized pickup truck at 12 noon; however when I arrived, I was told the truck was not available. Cliff (front desk clerk) stated that a truck was due in at some time during the day and dismissed me with "I'll call you if/when it comes in." I asked if he would call the current renters to confirm when they'd return the truck but he refused. He wouldn't even tell me what time the vehicle was due to return--just a vague sometime today was his answer! Never mind the fact that I had a reservation and was on a time crunch. He didn't even have the common decency or courtesy to say I'm sorry, let me try and find another solution for you. He just sent me on my way and to add insult to injury, he failed to keep his word on calling me back with updates. I waited all day for word from him--nothing. I called him about an hour before closing to inquire if my reserved truck had arrived and he curtly told me "no" and that he couldn't tell me when it'll be available. He stated "I have your reservation number, I'll call you." When I got home to check on my reservation, I noticed that it had either been deleted or it expired because it was no longer listed on my account. I am truly disgusted by Cliff's behavior and unwillingness to help find another solution for me. He caused me extra time and money as I had to find another rental elsewhere at a higher price! I will NEVER offer my business to this location again. Cliff was unprofessional and dismissive of my dilemma and time. He made absolutely no effort to try and make this right for me. read more

They had a car for me when I asked. It met my needs and I am not able to drive larger vehicles due to my being 4'9". The price was perfect, there were no hidden fees, and they made my car repair painless. Thank you Enterprise! I will rent there again when I need a car. This is by far my best car rental experience. One time a rental car was so big I fell in the trunk trying to reach my suitcase. I was in a strange city with no cell phone in the trunk of a rent car. Not safe. So, I need a rental car while I take my car to the shop. Progressive called Enterprise on October 25 to make sure that they had cars available and set up a reservation for me on October 26. I get there Saturday morning at about 9:15 and was told there were no cars available. I could take an SUV, but the insurance won't cover all of it. They offered to let me wait until a car was dropped off, but instead I asked if they could please call me when they got a car in, which they promised to do. I asked if they would definitely have a car that day, and was told "we can't guarantee that". So, they would have had me wait in the lobby until they close and tell me I'm SOL and send me home? It turns out to be a very good thing I didn't wait, because today is 11/15 and I still haven't been contacted about a car. I went in today to inquire about whether or not I was still at the top of their waiting list, and was told that as I had no reservation, they had nothing available. I reminded them that I had a reservation three weeks ago, but they weren't able to locate it. Everyone I dealt with was super nice, but I'll call my insurance and have them move the reservation to another company. I need to know that if I have a reservation, I'll be able to get a car. read more

Also, I just received a phone call from a gal named Julia who left a detail message regarding my charges and rental dates. That was super helpful. I appreciate them going the extra mile and doing the extras. I accidentally went threw a tollway and they were very helpful explaining to me how it will be taken care of. I was nervous.
