I am honestly so shocked at the lack of cleanliness of the vehicle we received from this Enterprise location. The seats were stained, and there were hair from other people in this car. The seatbelt had a funky armpit smell. It was evident that they did not clean this vehicle prior to giving it to us. The exterior of the car was barely clean. I'm utterly shocked and disappointed at the service I received. I had to BEG for a new car. My vehicle should have been recalled immediately and given another one. It took 2 days for them to find me another vehicle and this was with me calling the branch and the corporate office MULTIPLE times. I wouldn't rent a car from here. This was my only option because my car was in the shop getting repaired. I probably would not rent from enterprise again. read more

Tried to give this location another chance. Reserved car over a week ago. Same terrible experience and even longer wait. Car not full of gas, payment was taken inside, was ready to leave and ended up having to go back in to pay (again). Each visit can't be due to short staffing.... Learned my lesson and will be moving on to a different rental car vehicle for my monthly work trips in the future. read more

I have been at the Enterprise in Sachse/Woodbridge. I had an appointment at 12 and it's now 1254 and we are still waiting. There is only one person here that is running around helping and all the other employees here are just standing around not making eye contact or communicating with anyone. I have rented from this location at 8070 Woodsbridge Parkway, Sasche, Texas. 2nd time car rental stalled out on last day before rental was due back. Tried twice to contact towing roadside assistance but dealt with 2 employees who were terrible.First call to Cesar who was rude and hung up on me. 2nd call spoke to Theresa who hung up on me. I was upset and had explained to both I did not want to wait an hour or more to get a different vehicle but they both hung up on me. Took Uber to office location and Pete and branch manager were slammed but helped me get everything sorted out and took money off my rental due to my experience with Roadside Assistance. I would recommend this location as they will make sure you have a great customer service. read more

Do not rent from the Sachse, Texas location. When my wife returned her rental they said there was hail damage. I could not see any such damage. Because of that they are withholding our deposit for repairs. The car was never checked for any hail damage when she picked it up. read more

Well this review is from Memorial Day weekend. Came from out of state and reserved online with a few weeks notice. I came to pick up my rental and was told that my credit card came up fraudulent since we were from out of state and that I needed to contact my bank which I did. Sadly there was a several days delay (not because of Enterprise but my bank) in getting the matter straightened out. I offered to pay cash or with a debit but they told me that they only accepted credit cards. So I walked without a car but they told me that they would hold the reservation for me as I was concerned that a three day weekend was on the way.I was never successful in reaching them by phone and it was difficult personally going up there without a car so that was a bit of a pain getting friends to drive me up there trying to figure out if a car was still available. When I did show up there were lots of unhappy people standing around waiting to either drop off or pick up a rental. Long story short they had canceled my reservation and offered me a big truck for the going rate AND I found out that they could have accepted my debit card for a smaller vehicle! Ugh. So my experience wasn't a good one and I went the entire stay with no rental. read more

I was in an accident and didn't have my vehicle for over a month. When enterprise first gave me a vehicle they gave me a compact vehicle, when I had been approved for an intermediate vehicle. I usually drive a sedan so I brought to their attention that I'm far too tall to be driving a Nissan VERSA 2 hours a day for work and would like something a little more similar to my vehicle (which isn't a lot to ask for!!). I was met with hostility after asking a couple of questions. At the end of the day they were NO help, I had to go higher up and express my concerns to be taken seriously. Finally they agreed to give me another vehicle which was MUCH bigger on the inside and I had finally had some leg room. BUT before that Megan scolded me for asking for the vehicle the insurance had paid for. She said word for word "I am trying to teach you a lesson". I don't know if it's because I'm young or because they truly hate their job and are miserable beyond belief but I would suggest you go anywhere else. They are condescending, rude, and extremely unhelpful to say the least. read more

Read my reviews leading up to this update for context: I was just told by a visiting family member that she was given grief trying to rent a car from Enterprise because I am apparently still on their "risk management" list and she has the misfortune of having the same last name. Also, when you read the reviews in general, note that the 1- and 2- star reviews are specific in their complaints, while the 5-star reviews are ambiguous and sound more like talking points from an ad. This is a tell-tale sign of a social marketing service gaming the results. As I said in a previous review, this company survives on its proximity to body shops and airports, and tends to hire and promote the most inexpensive and least qualified personnel, as is clear from these reviews. There are many great alternatives to Enterprise and their affiates National and Alamo, (I have been with Hertz since the original incident with Enterprise and am very satisfied), don't make the mistake of entrusting your important travel needs or vacation plans to this pitiful organization. read more

Did not have a car despite a three week in advance reservation. Gave us a larger vehicle and then wanted us to pay more. A good company would upgrade you for free. This was for an insurance claim. Seems like a lot of other renters had the ole bait and switch issue common with this company. We have never had a great end to end experience with Enterprise. Worse is their manager did not once show empathy or sympathy. I don't want free day or week, or free future rental. Just improve your attitude because you guys are rude. I had an emergency breakdown and my vehicle had to be towed. No SUV available at Enterprise dealer nearby by offered a Mini-Van at $170 a day. Totally taking advantage of my situation. I took Uber to Avis and got a new SUV at HALF the quote from Enterprise. Ridiculous!! read more

My wife and have nothing but Great things to say about the Sachse enterprise. Every time we go, it has been nothing short of outstanding customer service. Our car broke down on us, and we have had to use them on a few occasions. The guys at the front desk ( all of them) have been very helpful and friendly. Frank is the leader of the pack. Whenever we had questions or concerns, he would step up and answer or fix the problem. That guy should be running that place. The rest of the team fell right in line with his leadership. We will only be going there whenever our car is down, or anytime we need a rental. Keep up the good work guys. Job well done. read more

Overall a good experience at this branch, with one significant exception. I had called ahead of time to verify the availability of a crossover SUV as that was my preferred type of vehicle to rent. I was cut-off mid-sentence being told "come on over, we have plenty of cars!" Upon arriving five minutes later, the only vehicle the said they had available was a Chrysler 300. Nice car, but not what I wanted. Eventually, upon insisting, I was able to obtain the crossover I wanted (the only one they had; I guess I was lucky!). Either way, two cars available does not meet the definition of "plenty of cars" in my mind. A two-star review bumped up to three due to them giving me a prompt ride back home upon returning their rental and not having had to wait at their branch for a long time. read more

The good: 1.they actually had the car I reserved, which sounds like a rarity from the other reviews. 2. The rates were pretty cheap. The bad: 1. When I arrived at 8:30 AM on a Wednesday there were 8 people in line (not an exaggeration, I counted) and 1 person working the counter. Needless to say, it was a lengthy wait to get my car and get out of there. 2. When I finally did get my car, it had an empty gas tank. When I protested, the gal told me that I could just bring it back on empty. The problem with that is that I had to immediately go and get gas after leaving Enterprise, which was not convenient as I was on a tight schedule. 3. There is no after-hours drop-off. You HAVE to come back during business hours to return the car. Why not have a slot to drop off the keys after hours? Come on people, even Blockbuster video had a night drop-off slot! read more

At my own risk and after experiencing a string of horrible rentals from this location, I decided to give this place a clean slate after seeing it under new management. I booked my reservation online, and within 2 days of my impending reservation, I received a call from Enterprise confirming my reservation and car type. I spoke with the manager, Chris, for a short time about many of the the grievances that have come along with renting cars from this location in the past. Not only was he engaging in understanding them, he seemed genuinely interested in changing the total experience at this place which made me feel very comfortable giving them another chance. I give this place 5 stars because every point of the process...from the price, to the customer service, and down to the car I rented....was a positive experience and a seamless transaction from start to finish. I'm soooo happy to put this place back on my "go-to" for car rentals! I'll certainly return. read more

Very helpful customer service, and they pick you up. My husband and I just got to the area. He needed to rent a car cuz we have a huge truck and Dallas traffic and parking is not huge truck friendly. Exceptionally friendly staff, super efficient, and always eager to make the entire experience positive. Keep doing what you're doing guys, it's very noticeable compared to other providers in town and appreciated. As a point of reference, another vendor (I won't name them) was offering a car $5/day cheaper so I reserved with them. I was dropped off at their lobby, made it inside, and was told they don't have any compact cars left that I would have to pay $20/day more for a full size, despite the reservation. I called Enterprise who didn't hesitate to come pick me up from the competition's front steps (they didn't even ask). I was in the car and on my way in 20 minutes. I have rented from this location several times. It is always a SLOW process. The proximity of the location to myself is why I go here. After today I will do anything and go anywhere but here. The website is completely bugged and wont let you rent. The error has something to do with the time selected, so I tried to select every time on the page with no success. Clearly more information is needed than what is given for me to correct the issue. I called the location multiple times to try and get a ride in to pick up a car but out of the 6 times I called and waited on hold, the call was only answered once, the person on the line kept pushing buttons and then put me back on hold without ever acknowledging that I was trying to speak to them. Several times after holding and listening to the annoying "Thanks for allowing us to be a family business in a corporate world, blah blah blah", message I would get a fax machine sound and have to hang up. I have never been impressed with the service but in an already frustrating situation at hand and now this, I can't do anything but tell others about this experience and why I would not use this location again. I finally got a hold of someone at a different location after multiple attempts and the pricing online is no longer valid and they discontinued advertised and valid discounts and promotions to take advantage of the recent storm damage their customers just recently faced. Really classy Enterprise. A compact car should NEVER be 65.00+ a day, ever. Enterprise, You should really think about listening to these complaints and actually do something about it if you want to keep your business. read more

When some idiot hit my car in a parking lot, I was fortunate to have rental coverage and ended up leasing through enterprise based on my insurance. Although I was happy with the customer service and they did give me a discount which got me into a nicer car, I felt like I did get talked into additional coverage that I didn't need. Even though I had insurance, I still ended up paying $70 for 5 days of rental car. After talking to other people, I was told that I should not have paid for that coverage since I have insurance...not cool. If I were renting through my insurance, I would go through them based on the fact that they are my only option. However, if I were renting for another reason, I think I would lease through another agency. I don't like being taken advantage of. read more

Two weeks prior to picking up the rental I called and reserved a specific vehicle for a weeks rental. The day I was supposed to pick it up they had given my rental away. Leaving me without any other options other than taking the replacement. There was no time to find another rental facility before we had to leave. I was very unhappy, but they said they would drive back to my house so I could drop my car at home, and upon my return they would give me a ride back home again. Now this is where if I could I would have given half a star instead of one. When I returned the vehicle a week later, the manager refused to provide me a ride home as promised. I had to walk over 2 miles home in 100+ degree heat after having worked 10 hours in the heat already. I was a very pissed off customer. I wrote a letter to Enterprise explaining what happened and never heard back from them. But I vowed to NEVER use Enterprise again and have passed along my experience to any and all who have or will need car rentals in the future. My advice.......stay away from Enterprise Car Rental!! read more

I had an appointment to get work done on my car at the Service King next door and a reservation for a car at the same time. When I got there to pick up my rental, they told me that they were out of cars. I made this reservation probably a week in advance. It was irritating that my reservation wasn't being honored AND that they didn't notify me in advance about this (clearly ongoing) issue, BUT THEN they assured me that they would have one for me ready the next day so I gave Service King my (totally running functional) car to start getting my work done... When I called them over 24 hours later to see if they had a car for me, they said that they did not and that there were 2 people ahead of me in the line.... If you can't notify me ahead of time that you don't have a car for my reservation, could you AT LEAST not lied to about when a car would become available? It's been over 4 days, I have not been given a car. I had to reschedule a job interview because of this. I can't even express how inconvenient this has been. I'm kinda sad that Yelp's smallest amount of stars is one because they really don't deserve that. I guess they can have that one star because the guy at the front desk was cute. read more

Terrible service. My wife rented a car to drive from Texas to Illinois for my boot camp graduation. Now, nearly 4 months later, we have a random charge from Enterprise of Wylie for $20. We have called them several times, each time they explain the charge doesn't show up on their end, so there's nothing that can be done, even though it is a fraudulent charge--we are stationed in Florida, and have been, for months now. The best part is, we heard them say this has happened to other customers, as well. We are getting our bank to dispute the charges since they are no help. Buyer beware. read more

My complaint is the exact same as everyone else on here, I was kept on hold multiple time when they too had transferred me to a fax machine and/or hung up on while trying to just confirm my rental. Even still, the customer service was just so sub par. I didn't think in a catastrophe that getting a rental would be hardest part of the process. My insurance has been contacted just to let them know the poor quality of service that this place provides, and for people reading this review, please think about going to another location just to save yourself time and headaches!! read more

The Wylie Enterprise is a very convenient location. I made my reservation over a month ahead of time. I explained that I was traveling to California, had a specific budget, and needed a little bit of space for 3 people with luggage. The representative met all of my criteria. I was expecting some pressure sale at check out however that didn't happen. My only issue was having placed my reservation over a month before I expected the car to be ready at my pickup time. I had to wait 20 minutes because they were short on vehicles. They apologized and added a couple Everything worked out, the car ran great. Make sure you get unlimited mileage and be specific about the states you are going to if you are going on a long road trip because the standard agreement limits your mileage if you travel outside of Tx,Ok, or La. read more

I rented a car and requested to get something else due to an oil leak that was staining my driveway. They offered a newer vehicle and held it for me until I got there a few hours later. They went above and beyond driving me to the place my car had been repaired. Their hospitality offering coffee and donuts did not go unnoticed.
