This place was ass, I walked in checked in for my rental reservation for them to say "there was none" instead of trying to get a hold of the insurance or be HELPFUL they stood there and kept asking for the claim #. Like if it was going to change anything. Basically told me to figure it out or pay out of pocket for an ACCIDENT THAT SOMEONE ELSE HIT ME. Maybe some women should work there that would actually work instead of sitting there and being useless like all those men there. Lazy men only. Then they change their story and say they called to say they have no cars. Another $$ spent on Uber. Then we get email telling us our rental is forfeit because we didn't pick it up! They picked me up at the auto repair place and took me back to their office and got me a car which I rented for 18 days - when I returned it, they drove me to the auto repair place to pick up my car. Everything was very efficient, they were very helpful and courteous. The car was clean and in good condition when I picked it up. read more

The Mission Street store in Salem really saved the day for us on a Saturday, when Budget left us out in the cold. Had a reservation with Budget, but they apparently closed earlier than the website said they did and wouldn't come out to help us even though they were still there and had been expecting us.Our reservation was for the exact time that they closed. We arrived a few minutes late. My sis was in town from out of state and headed to a hotel reservation for a night on the coast... I was in need of my car so we were well and truly screwed if a rental could not be had. Because Enterprise was nearby, we hurried over there and even though THEY had also closed, they went ahead and helped us get on our way. They went way above and beyond. AMAZING SERVICE!!! We had issues with another car rental place in the Salem area that wouldn't help us or do anything for us, even after the insurance sent us there with a reservation. We called Enterprise, within 20 minutes of closing and they told us, "get here when you can, we will make sure someone is here to help you". We got there after 15 minutes of them closing and the employee (didn't catch her name), was so friendly and helpful. Got us into the vehicle we were supposed to have. I highly recommend this company for renting cars. Very professional and willing to stay late to help people out. a minute ago Wow! Such amazing service! They picked me up and drove me to the car rental agency. There were a few people in front of me when I arrived but they took care of them promptly. When it was my turn, we looked at the car. They had picked out a red car for me and I let them know I was not fond of driving a red car. They even changed out the car color to another to accommodate my preferences! Every thing was easy, including the return! The return only took about 3 minutes! I was in an accident and my insurance arranged and paid for a rental. The first car I was given literally felt like the wheels were going to fall off while driving down the highway, it was beyond filthy, no floor mats, dents all over, and smelled of body odor. I informed them and they gave me another dirty car. When I returned my vehicle I left my handicapped permit in it and it disappeared. Real nice to make a disabled person that cannot walk long distances, have to park a mile away from any entrance. What is wrong with this place? read more

I'm really impressed with the service here at this location. We have rented a couple times and both times we were taken care of in a quick and responsive nature. I like how quick and efficient there process is. They even provided free pickup for us after our car broke down in town. I book my reservation in advance through an employee discount program through my work and they always end up being the best rates in town. The choices of cars are limited but we're in Salem after all. Great place to rent a car with fantastic guest service. Really recommend coming here for your rental car needs. read more

Please, for the love of God- get new management! EVERY SINGLE TIME I go here to get a rental car (work related) there is an issue. Not once have I gotten the rental without waiting a minimum of 30 min (I am a nurse and have scheduled appointments with my patients so this is not doable). Yesterday I waited a good 15min before I was assisted just to find out yet AGAIN, that there was no car ready. Walked outside to wash bay- all cars spoken for, walked out back, nothing available (yes, I had reservations from 2 weeks prior). He then tells me I can take a van! A fender bender has required the use of a rental car. We have had the car one week and realize it has been leaking oil on our new driveway. We replaced the driveway last summer at great expense ( $XXK). After online research, I've spent a full afternoon trying to remove the three oil spots but to no avail. I'm truly surprised by the negative reviews. Kelsie and Beau have been amazing. The quality of customer service has made such a difference as I'm now renting a car from them for the 3rd time in 6 weeks because a local mechanic made my car inoperable and it had to be towed to a dealership. The team at Enterprise has repeatedly gone above & beyond to help me, knowing how stressful this is. They come pick you up, which other rental car companies don't do. Yes, the location is slightly understaffed. So what? This isn't an impersonal airport location. They take their time with you, which is unheard of these days. If you want them to double their staff, expect their prices to rise, too. They're affordable. The cars are clean and smoke-free. read more

I rented a full-size car from them in May. The vehicle was clean and in excellent operable condition. Took it on a long trip to California and advised them of that prior to departure--no problem! Due to limited staff -- two people at the desk but behind the scenes? -- they may not have time to fill up the tank before departure. Our car was 7/8 full and when I call them about it they said returning it that way was fine. Asked for a specific make and model -- granted! All in all, a pleasant experience. read more

Today my sister went to Enterprise to arrange for a rental. While at the rental office, my sister called my husband to confirm the kind of car Enterprise was going to rent us (a Ford Focus) and the rental agent overheard her talking about why we were in need of a rental. When the agent heard that we were renting a car so we could travel 1,000 miles with family to attend our grandfather's funeral, the agent immediately upgraded us to a mini van at no additional charge so our trip would be more comfortable. We are so grateful for their excellent service and empathy. My family has used Enterprise on Front on several occasions and we have always been extremely satisfied with our experience. read more

My Husband and I were staying in Kiezer , Oregon at the Elks Club RV park. We do not use a tow car, with our Motor Home. We have always used Enterprise as our choice of car rental companies. The are professional, always willing to help us with our needs of "picking us up" at our campsites. When we are through with the car, when we return the car, they bring us back to our sites. This was no different in Kiezer. They always share information of the area, rental deals that maybe taking place, etc. I think Enterprise is the only way to go!!!!!! read more

I am renting a car while my car is in for repairs due to someone hitting me. This car is a death trap. Ford Focus and it may be me that is found on the road dead. Car shakes when crawling in stop and go traffic, doesn't want to stay in the lane on the freeway and jerks every time you start to take off. I took the car back in and had the kid drive it, he noticed the problem too but assured me they'll take care of me AFTER I break down.
