They both juggled phone calls, attended to car rentals, and welcomed each person who walked in. One of the incoming phone calls was a customer who wanted to know how to remove the keys from the ignition. Now currently still waiting in line with 40+ people ahead of us at the hertz counter...1.5 hours later (got here at 6pm and it's now 737pm). The lines all the way down the corridor behind us. Guys. Lesson learned. Don't be cheap. Just pick Alamo or National car rental. Their lines are quick and fast for the extra few dollars a day. Would give 0 stars but it's not an option.

Not being a smoker myself I thought I could deal with it, as they had nothing else available that was clean (the lot had about 10 cars parked there). Mind you, I had waited several days to get a car because they "had none available". I called them the next morning to see if I could swap cars since the odor was horrid- it made me nauseated. I honestly don't think they tried to clean the car from the person who smoked in it. I needed a car so I took it. I was told I had to call in the late afternoon and then come back in the evening since they had no cars available. I did that and when I showed up they let me know that unless I wanted a dirty car, they had none available. This time the lot had 15+ cars there. Apparently none were cleaned? I didn't care as long as it didn't reek of an ashtray. I was able to get another car, which was fine but I wondered why so many cars were sitting there without being cleaned. Maybe lack of employees? I didn't see a hiring sign. Also, if a car stinks so bad, why not take it out of commission, or make sure you rent it to a smoker? That was the most gag-worthy experience.

Why make a reservation?! I know there's a bad Seinfeld joke in there but this location has no idea what they are doing. This turned out to be so much cheaper than taking an Uber and we had the freedom to explore and go places whenever we wanted. The counter where we picked up our rental car was slow and there were three separate lines that went to the same counter. This ended up causing a lot of confusion and frustration. The car drop-off was very easy and took only a few minutes. We got to choose from a variety of cars. The reservation matched the car that we drove off in. The car was clean and comfortable. I would rent from Alamo Rent A Car again.
