    I've been renting cars for years back and forth from Denison/ Sherman to DFW and never has a rental company filed a claim against me and my insurance for an imperfection that you can only see from certain angles when the light is right. I spent 15 minutes with the guy checking me in as he had me bend down slightly to see the slightest indentation on the roof of this black chevy malibu. I told him that not only did no one do a walk around with me at DFW but the car was in a garage when i picked it up. There is literally no way a person could see such a tiny imperfection in a covered garage, I said. He said this is company policy. Enterprise, he said, does not consider even the tiniest imperfections to be "normal wear and tear" as many other rental companies do. This is what they're required to do when someone returns a car without having purchased Enterprises' insurance policy.

    Revised from an earlier review. Clean car. Great customer service at pick up. Had an issue about drop off. This branch is closed Sunday's and it was initially handled poorly but with a little work on our end and we were able to get it taken care of. Any business that makes a wrong right deserves another chance and a revised review!!

    We rented a car for just a few days, but we're told that a rental from Thursday to Monday would cost the same as seven days, so that's what we did. We would have loved to rent at our local office (Gainesville,TX) but there were no cars available, so we had to drive to Sherman,TX. The guy at the rental counter was nice, but he sent out this very pushy female who tried to scare me into signing up for their insurance. After I said no, I said no again, and then had to look her right in the eye and tell her to back off. She did, but still made some comments about what a great deal it is to use their insurance. The car was a Kia, which was great for around town, but feels a bit shaky at highway speed. When it was time to return the vehicle, the Gainesville location said we could return it there, but Sherman location said there would be an additional $350. one way fee.

At the counter, I showed proof of purchase and my check-in information. The gentleman told me that my check-in was not good and that he didn't have a vehicle available. He did not attempt to rectify the issue or help me out. He just gave me a pamphlet and told me to call Customer Service for them to cancel my rental. Very poor customer service if you ask me.

    I have executive status at National and they SUCK! I had problems w/ my personal auto where the…read moremechanic wasn't going to finish the job before the weekend. So, on Friday, 8/27/21 with about an hour before closing, I call their reservations dept at 844 382 6875 and rent a car for the weekend, Friday thru Monday. Before I hung up the phone I had the "confirmation" in my email, so I thought everything was great. Fast forward 15 minutes...I'm already in my Lyft on my way up to the Plano location when the manager calls me to tell me they do not have anything available, I'm like WTF!!! I'm loking at my email on my iPhone and I have a confirmation, whaddaya mean you don't have a car? He gives me some BS that the system has some lag and that their availability is not really "live time" or some shit like that. I tell him I'm already $12.00 into my Lyft ride on my way up there and all he can do is apologize and says "I can continue to come up there but he cannot garauntee he'll have any cars available when I get up there. So, I told the Lyft driver to turn around, I was certian I'd get this resolved thru corporate. The below images of correspondence are in chronological order. Notice the dozen or so customer service reps all promising the same BS. First, the insincere BS apology, then their BS commitment to get this resolved. To date (9-20-21) I have yet to speak with the F'n manager, or anyone for that matter from that location. I'll be doing a status match on a competiting rental agency and going to give the rental days away to someone I don't like...

I'd made a reservation weeks in advance & was in from out of state. Called this location the same day & they hooked me up immediately w/ a car & even let me choose between 2 different upgraded cars. Much appreciated. Negative: It appears they took advantage of a misunderstanding & used it to get a little more money out of me. And then also, when I saw my final charge on my bank statement I noticed Hertz had taken the liberty to round the total up from the total of which they assured me @ check-out. Granted it's a small amount but it speaks to the trust factor & more indications they don't seem to value being above board & transparent. And if they've been rounding up every customer's total, it'll add up to a pretty decent extra bit of $ for them. Just beware. They get a LOT of bad reviews & while part of my experience was great, I don't trust them.
