Received a loaner car from Enterprise for a couple days while my car was being fixed. Located next door to Old Surrey Restaurant on 72 Ave (near train tracks by west of McDonalds) . Enjoyed having a new car to drive around haha.. the process between auto body and Enterprise was seamless.. service was friendly.. the bad: large chip on the windshield of the car I was given. The drop off service back to the auto body was a bit wild (fast driving and long honking at another car). read more

UNRELIABLE! Avoid this place! Ruined my Father's Day. I reserved a car for 9:30am. They called me at 9:25am to tell me my car that was reserved; is not available today. Nothing they could do. Didn't even bother to help or make arrangements to get a set of wheels. Not even an apology. Just "there is nothing we can do". Disgraceful service. just had a terrible experience. I was in an accident a month ago and needed a rental while my car is being fixed. When I picked up the rental, I did the usual walk around with an employee and I pointed out a scrape on the front bumper. He assured me it was already on their records. Fast forward 4 weeks, I was able to return the car and the employee went out to check it. He came in and asked me if I took pictures of the car when I picked it up. I said no and then he said he wanted to show me something. He told me the bumper was "out of alignment". I really couldn't see what he was talking about and then he pointed to a 2" gap. I never would have noticed this on a walk around before taking it. An absolute scam. They told me I have to make a claim in my insurance. My hands seem to be tied. I am a 63 year old woman and I truly believe they think I'm an easy mark. Warning to everyone to take lots of pictures when renting....and don't rent from this location. read more

It was worst experience with service. Our whole trip was so uncomfortable. We booked for RAV4 but when we visit they told us we have only Mitsubishi RVR which was'nt like similar feel in case of comfort. I will never visit( ENTERPRISE NEWTON) ever. I pick up a car from here almost every weekend during the summer months for a company I do events for. I seem to have problems with them every time I go in. Starting with making me wait over an hour because they couldn't understand it was a company credit card and I didn't need to give my personal one. Other times, I was there at pick up time and waited over 45 minutes for a van. Yet if I'm even a couple minutes late for pick up, I get major attitude from them. Another time they accused me of having a dog or something in the van and demanded I pay for the detail. I refused and told them to deal with my company and basically they kept harrasing me until I walked out... Which is odd cuz I was right back there next week. Next year when events start, I'm using a different enterprise. read more

This past summer I had to rent a car for a few days while my car was in the shop. She'd been temperamental for a few months and all other car doctor solutions didn't work. As I have BCAA this was the best priced car rental company in my area. I booked the equivalent of a Chevy Spark as it was the least expensive and realistically I was only using it to go to the gym & work, maybe a work errand here and there. When I got to the location to pick up I was greeted right away even though there was a wait. They made sure I was acknowledged. When I finally got to the counter the staff were friendly and they had upgraded me, free of charge, to an Audi Q5. Definitely not the Spark I was expecting but so much better. I promised not to get a ticket and be uber careful with it, which I was. The drop off a few days later was just as good but I definitely miss the Audi. I love my wee Mazda 3 but she doesn't drive as nicely. Maybe when I win the lottery or retire I can be grown up enough for one. read more

---- This review if for the Enterprise Rent a Truck section of that branch. --- I rented a moving truck from this location 2 weeks ago. Cath was very helpful during the reservation process and John helped me with the truck at pick up. The brand new vehicle was ready to go, with a full tank. However, things did not go as smoothly as planed with the vehicle during the moving. The problem was however totally unpredictable and not related to a maintenance issue, in other words, not Enterprise agents responsibility. Just bad luck. However, it's when things are going south, and it can always happen, that one sees how professional a company really is. Cath and John did the right thing. They put the customer's satisfaction first, way before profit. I will recommend them to anybody in need of a moving truck. Going to Surrey to pick it up is worth the caliber of service they offer. read more

NEVER RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!!! Especially if it is important. We had reserved a vehicle as we needed to fit Bridesmaids and Bride in one vehicle. They called earlier in the week to confirm we would be there for our reservation. At no time did they even hint there might be a problem. The morning of the wedding about an hour and a half before we were to pickup the vehicle they called and said they did not have one for us. The wedding was quite a way out of town and was in the afternoon. The rep said he would call us back. I called them awhile later to see how things were going and was put through to manager Said. He said he might be able to get me something in the afternoon which of course wouldn't work because the wedding was in the afternoon. He offered no options but said he would call around and get back to me in a half hour. When I called in a half hour (number not call blocked) the phone just basically rang and rang and rang with no one answering it. Being a business there was no explanation for this other than deliberately avoiding my call. Enterprise Rent-A-Car should be ashamed to have this location under their umbrella. Absolutely no customer service. I have used other locations around the world including most recently New Orleans and have found most to be very professional and helpful. I have been in the hospitality and travel industry for many years. I realize things happen. I am not a yeller and I do not fly off the handle when they do. I treat vendors with respect and expect them to do the same to me. To not offer any remedy to this situation was disgraceful. If you rely on having your reservation honoured do not waste your time on this location. read more

This location in 72 Ave in Surrey did not have the vehicle we reserved so provided us a with a similar type... the vehicle was filthy outside- received a 'quick power wash' had dead bugs baked on the front window and extremely dusty inside, windows were covered in a film inside and the light was on indicating no washer fluid. We spent over an hour cleaning it and getting it ready to use. While on our trip the 'check Engine light' came on.. so we immediately and responsibly contacted enterprise who called a close dealership and we sat at the dealership for 2 hours - they apparently fixed whatever issue it was. On return of the vehicle staff also accused us of having a pet in the car which we did not. I see this happened to other customers as well in the reviews on this site. Trying to reason with the unreasonable staff at this location was difficult and as customers who took very good care of their vehicle were so frustrated trying to communicate with them- they wouldn't listen and they didn't even care, not even a 'thanks' for wasting 2 hours of our vacation time dealing with a poorly maintained vehicle, just accusatory regarding the pet hair. I said - we don't even have a dog just a cat. He said - well you must of had a cat in here! (we don't take our cat out of the house and I believe whatever hair he said was there was dirt and crumbly bits that would be on the bottoms of our shoes, tarps and bags) So we vacuumed the vehicle ourselves and returned it. We Dealt with head office customer service, explained what happened and how frustrated and disappointed we were, and they were very professional and took the time to listen and address our concerns but they should be aware of the dealings happening at the 72 Ave location and the level of customer service that is displayed here. *Oh and no drop off and pick up here due to Covid. * make sure you give the vehicle a vacuum before returning it here. read more

I was charged for an extra day on my credit card. I called the Newton location right away to question the charges because I had payed for the rental including insurance in full on the day we picked up which was March 25 2016. The car was returned on March 27 2016. I got a phone call from enterprise on Monday May 27 thanking me for renting and the said the car was in perfect condition and hoped for my business again. So the charge was an error on your part. I was promised a refund of the extra charges which is $93.95 by the manager Amir and employee Chahar and today is May 4 2016 and I am still waiting for the refund. Chahar was laughing at me when I was asking for the manager and getting upset about not receiving my refund after a month. This team is unorganized, unprofessional and worst of all unrealiable. They have not kept the promise made to me the customer and I have not received my refund. I will not be doing business with Enterprise again based on this frustrating experience. read more

I was given a further discount from their already low rate because I had asked for a small car which was unavailable when I arrived at their location on 72nd Ave in Surrey. The Ford Edge they provided was loaded with almost all available options and a pleasure to drive, although it could have been cleaned a little better after the previous renter returned it. read more
