I rent from Enterprise whenever I travel for work. I always have a great experience. When I had to start booking a rental car in Toledo it's been a completely different experience. They NEVER have the cars available my company prefers us to use-economy. They can never find my corporate account for my discounts or insurance information. They put me in a a "new" mustang as a free upgrade when there was no economy available and fast fwd two days later- it had to be towed. Even though they picked it up themselves and towed it to their center they never closed it out. I had 3 calls in 2 days asking me to return the car. Ugh. Next rental- dropped the car off after hours, left the keys and even called to verify they got it. Still had to call back a SECOND time to have them close it out. It's super unorganized. The two stars are for the people who do work there. despite how terribly unorganized, it is ran the staff are always super friendly, apologetic, and do their best to be accommodating. read more

My car was in an accident & was getting fixed at Yark. It took Enterprise 45 minutes to come pick me up. Yark had to call them 3 times. I get there & they put me in a Mirage Mitsubishi. It had to be the crappiest car on the lot. It was missing a hub cap, it was beat all up like it was hit & shook when I drove it. The car was not safe. They put me in this because the guy that hit my son had Grange insurance & that's all they would pay for. After a day of complaining Enterprise did deliver me a new car which was a lot better. But they were 45 minutes late delivering it. They told me next time I can get a free upgrade. I would not use them again. I know there was better car in the same class to put me in. Enterprise Rent-A-Car - The beat up Mirage - Car Rental Near Me - Sylvania Township, Ohio

These clowns started calling my mother and brother off of my "Emergency Contacts List" for a billing question. (Rental paid for by insurance) They refuse to contact the insurance company who holds my contract, and approves my extensions. The employees at the Central Avenue office pretend they are unable to contact the adjusters directly. I know this to be false after speaking with Enterprise customer support. When I spoke with customer support, they added the adjusters contact info without a problem. Rather than call the insurance adjuster to update the rental, they would rather call my mother and brother to let them know that I am "down quite a bit of money on my bill. It would seem these employees at this location prefer to be petty and cause headaches over being helpful/decent. Instead of calling the man laying the bill, they'd rather call 3 different people in my family and act as if I am delinquent on a bill. This process has been in repetition for the entire 40 days I've had my rental vehicle. I will never again give these people my money, and wouldn't now if I was the one footing the bill read more

The people at Enterprise were helpful although I took forever to get up a car to work. We rented a 2024 Nissan Sentra and it was pretty nice. We tried to hook up Google maps to the screen in the car or it's supposed to already be in there, but unfortunately I think it was because they took something out having to do a location at Enterprise. The map did come out for a couple minutes and then it was going again. We tried calling the 1-800 number and they hung up on us over and over obviously they were not helpful at all it was after hours. We've rented from here twice now without any negative issues. Staff have always been friendly and helpful and we haven't had any unnecessarily long waits. They had no issues with us picking up or dropping off earlier than scheduled and we watched as the employee helping us washed and cleaned our rental himself. I'd recommend this location to anyone and we'll be renting from them again in a few weeks! read more

This was absolutely the worst experience we have ever had at any business. We rented a 15 passenger vehicle 6 to 8 weeks before we needed it to pick up family at Detroit airport that were flying in from Thailand. We had a confirmation number and thought we were good to go. We arrived at enterprise on Central Avenue to witness them giving the 15 passenger van to someone else. The manager at this location said someone else reserved one before we did and they had another one returned but not cleaned yet. He said we could not have that one and was not offering any solution. He would not communicate with us for the next hour. We finally ask him about another location having one. He did find one and said we could go get it. We asked why they wouldn't bring it to us, he did agree to that then. We waited almost 2 hours which made us late getting to the airport. The manager, Zay was down right rude! At one point I told him that I couldn't believe how he talked to us and that an apology for not having a vehicle for us would go a long way. He just looked at me with a blank stare. No apology. I remarked how amazing it was that by me even suggesting that he offer an apology that he still absolutely would not. This man does not know customer service at all! The office was in complete chaos, people not getting the cars they thought they were going to get. I will say that the rest of the staff was very kind. Three of the employees apologized to us for how we were treated when we left this location and when we returned the vehicle. What a nightmare! If I could give a 0 star rating I would. Terrible customer service. They refused to use my niece's husband's credit card to rent a car for her. They got upset when she pointed out some scratches and dings on the car when they walked her around it, prior to renting it. She had to call my sister, to rent it for her. My brother-in-law is critically ill, so she wasn't thrilled about leaving him to come do this. The two guys working got very mouthy and were really rude to her. Needless to say, they left and went to Hertz. They were in and out of there in under 30 minutes. I would definitely never recommend Enterprise read more

I am very unhappy with the service I was provided by the employees at this branch. I returned the car prior to the return time and place the keys in the drop box at 0640 hrs on 3/19/18. The employees at this branch did not check the car in until 3/20/18 and charged me an extra day. When I confronted this branch about the extra day charge I was treated like I was a criminal lying about when I returned the car. What is the point of having a drop box if the employees are not going to be honest about when people return their rentals. This is the second time I have been treated unfairly by enterprise employees and have had employees try to screw me out of money. This particularly time I was reimbursed the over charge but I was treated like I was a lying about returning the car. I feel that I have to watch my back with this company because I don't feel I can trust them to do what is right. Why would an employee treat a repeat customer with such disrespect and risk bad reviews? Never use the drop box to return a car, it isn't worth the risk of being screwed over. Poor business to deal with. Had a reservation for a full sized SUV, gentleman calls me at 5 mins before they close the night before I supposed to pick up my rental to tell me that they are overbooked and don't have anything for me. But also tries to tell me that since I "just booked it yesterday " when in fact I had booked it many days prior was an actual insult. And the fact that they waited until the end of the day, the day before said pick up didn't leave me anyntime to try to find another full sized SUV to rent. Very convenient couldn't beat the price. They were very busy when I arrived even though I was 15 minutes late for my reservation they acknowledged me right away and got me in and out in no more than 10 minutes. Very good customer service. I only give it 4 stars because the car I received didn't have the best breaks and there was a leak or something in the trunk causing some of my clothes to get wet from the rain. read more

While in town for a visit with grandkids, we needed a car for a couple of days. I checked and found that the Central Avenue Enterprise was open until 7:00 and close at hand. Perfect! I called to reserve a vehicle and was assured they would have one waiting. I did not get there until about 6:30 and was greeted by 3 or 4 friendly workers. Steve Sims processed the reservation and I was out of there in10 minutes in a very fine 2015 Malibu. When I returned the car a couple of days later, service was once again cordial and quick. It was very convenient to be picked up from my car body shop and get my car. Everyone was very friendly and got me through the process as quickly as possible. The car was clean and they gave me a thorough explanation of the car plus had me check the car over for any imperfections so I was not charged for them. read more

My car renting experience has alway been less then great. They never have the car I want or their just to busy to look for it and your forced to take what you can get. Like always, nothing's changed.... I must admit, I was pleased with the car I received, 2015 Impala LT. only to get a call three days later saying we need to return the vehicle because it has been retired.... What the H#ll. It could only get worse from this point. But, this was the turning point. My wife and I received some of the best service ever from Latora Parker she really went out of her way to get us into a car. She was very friendly and approachable. She could not find a vehicle I wanted and let us remain in the car we had. As luck would have it, we were leaving enterprise and the car we wanted ( 2016 Malibu LTZ )was pulling in. We went back in and Latora and Ian Dazell made the exchange very smooth. Ian was also very helpful and generally interested in our satisfaction. Im very pleased with the vehicle and the service Latora and Ian displayed. I have rented a vehicle at this location twice in the last month. On both occasions I had a scheduled pick up time. I arrived ten minutes before the scheduled pick up times on both of the occasions. Each time I had to wait close to a half hour after my scheduled pick up time for a vehicle to be ready. I should mention that becuase of my job, I have rented hundreds of vehicles over the last twenty years from locations around the globe so I understand that issues do come up from time to time. This office just seems to be unorganized and not efficiantly managed. I had used this office because it is close to my home, but since I noticed a Hertz facility across the street during my last 40 minute wait for a vehicle I will be doing my renting from there in the future. read more
