Made a reservation with Enterprise at the wrong location for pickup but after talking with Seth at the Valencia location he quickly called the correct Enterprise and had me set up correctly. The branch manager Josh, immediately coordinated and picked me up himself to get me in a rental less than 30 min after my reservation. Everyone at the branch was incredibly nice and accommodating. She keep getting upset and somewhat rude with us when we asked if she got the information due to a delay between us. And when we explained why we were doing it, she was very rude to us. Prices are decent and service is friendly. The rental car counter is conveniently attached to the airport, which makes it easy to pick up your car and return it. I had a reservation for an Intermediate sized car, and I was upgraded to a brand new full-size SUV since there weren't anymore of the Intermediates available!! I have to admit that I felt like a baller all weekend! Returning the car was super easy since there signs all over that clearly show you where to go. I LOVE this Enterprise! After a horrific and unbelievably terrible experience with Hertz at the Tucson Airport where my pre-paid reservation was not honored, I had to scramble to find a car that wasn't going to cost a fortune. Found something at Enterprise online & took a Lyft to this location about a mile from the terminal (it was way too HOT to walk). I was greeting by Enterprise's super friendly and helpful staff, put in a great Mazda 6 for about $25 less than my Hertz "deal" and was happily on my way. Not only that, I got a call from later that day to make sure all was good with my rental and to thank me for my business. A++++++ p.s. a Hertz rep was supposed to call me about my issues on 6/12. It's 6/17 and still no call. They left me stranded all the way around. Do not use!!! read more

Enterprise has the best rental deals of any car rental place I know of. We rent about 15 times a year and use them whenever we can. They drive to you and pick you up and bring you back to the rental place, you sign the papers and off you go. When you return the car, they drive you to your destination and drop you off. Tips. Always ask for the smallest car and they never have it when you get there so they give you a bigger car at the rate for the smaller car. Very often you can rent a car on weekends for $9.99. always check for this option This pick up and drop off is no big deal if you are flying into an airport (where else would fly into) and will be flying out of the airport BUT think!!! If you use the hotel shuttle to pick you up at the airport and to drop you off, you can rent for 2 less days. Even better, if you are staying for a while you might rent for 2 or 3 times and have the rental place picking you up and dropping you off and save even more. The founder of Enterprise was a fighter pilot in WW2 who flew off of the USS Enterprise ( a member of the greatest generation) and is one of the reasons you are not speaking Japanese today. I had frequently rented vehicles from this location many times and I realize staffing changes has been a routine, therefore this must the immediate reason the front counter people starts their process (instead of greeting) with we need your utility bill or document for proof-of-residence. Cleanliness and odor/smoke-free vehicles does Not appear to be standard. The 800# for Enterprise Customer Service was terrific. I have always reserved & paid for my reservations with a CC. The brown color smear on driver door & pet hair w/ drool stains on driver seat upholstery was apparent after leaving rental office. The literature found displayed on the rear view mirror & placed in cup holder of Cleaned check-list is a hopeful read (cross-fingers was true). Use to rent cars all the time, I work for a company that provides me with a company vehicle so on the weekends or special occasions I would rent a car from enterprise...not anymore. After trying to reach the store manager at there Wetmore location several times with no call back I finally get in contact with her I explain the situation that is going on she tells me no problem, come to find out she flat out lied to me and then blames it on there risk management dept. It's a shame because now I will go out of my way to tell everyone not to rent cars from enterprise and yes I am just one person and I will not effect there bottom line I just want them to know they have lost a loyal customer. read more

Had a really positive experience upon returning the rental on August 18. I had altitude sickness for four straight days, and one of the young female employees with long blonde hair took me in the rental car right up to the United Airlines door at the terminal. What a kind young lady, and what a good way to ensure I use Enterprise again. Worst customer service ever! I rent a car every week for my job and I usually rent with Enterprise. 2 weeks ago I rented a car with Enterprise at the Tucson International Airport. Oscar was the representative that assisted me. I reserved a mid sized car to accommodate a car full of passengers that week. Oscar showed me a four door Chrysler which was fine. He came back saying it was already rented and he then showed me a smaller car that only had 3 doors and s small back seat. I asked if because I was a frequent renter and a member of the "plus" program I might be eligible for an upgrade. He said it would cost me $20 a day. The worst part is that I have a broken foot that is In a large black walking boot. Oscar did not offer to carry my bags, open the trunk or lift my bags for me. I had a reservation for Friday, September 4, at 6 am. I arrived on time and was dropped off near their booth in the parking lot. I walked past their booth to go into the airport, since in the past I've had to go to the rental desk inside the airport first. I got to the rental desk, only to find a sign telling me to go back to the booth. Why the employee in the booth didn't tell me that in the first place, I have no idea. I went back to the booth and said hello to the employee there. He barely acknowledged me. The greeting was, "License and Major Credit Card," not, good morning, not even hello. He was surly. I gave him my license and Amex as well as a card I'd received after my last rental for a free upgrade. He tore up the card, so I wasn't even sure I was getting my upgrade, since he did all of this wordlessly. He walked me out to the lot and told me he was putting me in an Altima. Every other time I've rented a car, they've told me what I could choose from. This was 6 am, and they had a bunch of cars. But he'd already decided for me which one I wanted. I told him I'd rather have one of the many Ford Fusions he had, since that's what I drive at home, I'm comfortable with the controls, and they get great gas mileage. He sighed and said he'd give me the silver one. He walked back to the booth, and I stood waiting by the silver one. When he came out, he said, "No. The gray one." I didn't care which one, but I was clearly ruining this guy's day. You shouldn't make your customers feel like they're a burden. We walked around the car. I noticed some paint damage I wanted him to write down, and he said it didn't matter and refused to write it down. I signed the paper. (Before getting in the car, I took my own picture of it just in case they tried to nail me for it later, which they did not.) The car was nice and clean. I enjoyed my long weekend and returned the car on Monday. The employee there to receive the car was 100% better than Mr. Surly from my pickup experience. He asked if everything had gone okay. I told him it was fine. We chatted about how much I liked the Ecoboost and about my personal car, which is the Fusion Hybrid. He was how I expected an Enterprise employee to act. Since I'd complained the last time I'd rented a car (that smelled of stale smoke and was filthy), I chose not to mention Mr. Surly and went on my way. I'd rent from them again because their rates are good, especially through the USAA program. But the first employee I dealt with needs some serious customer service training. read more

I'm shocked to read some of those bad reviews of this Enterprise location at the Tucson airport. Our experience was awesome from start to finish. We were NOT kept waiting for more than a few minutes before someone greeted us and offered us a choice of vehicles. It's true that they didn't have the car we wanted available, but they turned themselves inside out to accommodate us, including a little price adjustment downward. The car was clean and well maintained. We couldn't have been happier with it. The return of the vehicle was handled well. We wanted to change the method of payment - no problem. We asked them to apply the promised price adjustment - no problem. The place was very, very busy and everyone was working hard, but being nice and giving good customer service despite the pressure - no problem. Had a quote from an Enterprise location in Tucson I had gotten 3 week's before an was ready.to rent the Car.. so I didint want to drive too far an decided to stop at the Tucson Blvd location since it was closer to my house I told them I had a quote and was wanting to see if it was still valid but the guy in the counter didn't even acknowledge my quote and said prices fluctuate and it was going to be three times the price of the car I had a goten a quote for... The driver, who was very pleasant and assumed the role of a tour guide during our return trip, arrived to pick us up at our location and returned us to the Rental Agency location to acquire our vehicle. The counter staff was very efficient and pleasant during our transaction. Enterprise upgraded our vehicle because the assigned vehicle was not ready for us!!! This location is the worse enterprise I've ever rented from! I am a gold member and was treated horrible! Coming from Avis preferred plus, I wanted to give enterprise a shot, they gave me a damaged vehicle and when I brought it back to return it after an hour of having it because the car was already giving me issues, they refused to give me a refund and cancel the reservation. They were going to charge me for the hour I had the car because I said I wanted to re book at a different location. They didn't have any cars and when I asked for a certain car the next day to change into that they had on their lot, they lied and said they didn't have it when I drove by and saw the car there! I finally went to the airport location and they took good care of me! Put me in a brand new car with no damages! The only thing I can say good about this place was the rate that I got , but if money isn't an issue, just go to the airport location! The service is well worth the price you pay! read more

When I rented my car--it was rent at this price and they will give you the best car available when I pick it up. My car was waiting and it was the smallest thing I have ever seen. Of course I asked for the upgrade to a larger model--they did not have any. But for a additional cost they had larger models. Of course I had to pay the extra fee and got a larger model. So as you can see if I pay extra they had a larger model-but for my original deal which was to give me a larger car--they suddenly didn't have any. Seems to me like it is just a ploy for them to get more money out of the customer. So don't bother booking thinking you will get a larger vehicle. read more

Even though I had a reservation they made me wait in line about 30 minutes before getting me into a car on 11-8. They talk about low rates but in reality my tab was $110.37 for 1 day. They gave me a Chevy Malibu which is a nice car and charged me their "compact" rate $73.26 for a 1 day rental (plus 6 other charges) . I drove about 40 miles all day and the ticket shows 421 miles, which were "free."2 gallons of regular $9.27. Does anybody have any idea what a Customer Facility Fee is? $4.50 for that. Recoupment fee $9.16. VLS? $4.81. TPT? $5.87 RNTL Surchg Pima County $3.50. Altogether $110.37. Thanks for the "free" bottle of water. They cheerfully take your money. A reasonable rate would have been half that. Do a better job of shopping than I did. read more

This morning at 8AM I called Enterprise to rent a car for an employee. Everything went fine, she took the CC and gave me a reservation confirmation and assured me she would email the confirmation as well. At almost 3PM I called Heidi back to check on that email. She told me that since I wasn't a corporate member she could not take CC over the phone. She started she had tried to call and email, but no one answered the office phone and the email did not go through. We've been in the office all day and the caller ID as no calls from Tucson as far as the email that's probably a lie to! I understand that they can't go beyond their policies, but don't lead people on to think everything is OK when it's not. A simple call or email would have been fine, but instead she did nothing about it. Simple, we will just be taking our company business elsewhere. read more
