    Wow, I was impressed with this car rental facility. Our flight arrived on Saturday around noon, there was no need for a shuttle to catch, we just walked our way to the rental car center, not too bad of a walk which included moving walkways and clear and easy signs to follow at the airport. The check-in process was indeed accelerated thanks to Phil... 5 minutes in line, 4 minutes at the counter (we declined all extras), 3 minutes to walk to the garage (right across the rental car center doors) to access our vehicle and exit the rental garage. No delays, no problems, staff was quick and professional, it was remarkable! The return process was just as easy and efficient, with a quality vehicle that met our needs during our weekend trip in SoCal.

    We scheduled a midsize VW Jetta WE got a hyundai with dirty seats , door handles smoked out and riding 4" off the ground. You have to walk at least a 1/3 of a mile from the terminal to the desk and car lot. I will never rent a car from Alamo again .

    NO REVOLUT DISCLAIMER that when picking up the car which I paid with my REVOLUT card in advance, it will not be accepted! It is VISA CARD!

    DO NOT BOOK! THEY DO NOT REFUND THE MONEY WHEN THEY DO NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICE. SCAMMERS! they are scamming and refusing to confirm officially that they will refund me 600$ which I paid to Alamo in advance and then at the counter say that my card is not accepted. also that they don t have the time to send me a confirmation email for the payment, plus that they say they don t know how many days it takes to refund whilst I already paid 600$. very unpleasant situation on behalf of the woman manager in the inglewood pick up station. There is NOWHERE stated that REVOLUT card is not accepted as well as I don t understand why it was accepted for payment in the first place. You ask me to call and solve when I was left alone in the night by your low manager and woman who absolutely did not empathize and EITHER she was able to tell me where on website or during payment checkout there was info that I cannot pick up with my Revolut physical card!! I also offered to provide a US card details also refused. She said she doesn t have time to send me confirmation that I will get my money back! I am on holiday with almost 700$ blocked because I trusted this scamming and offensive company!

    Had a fantastic experience picking up my car at this Alamo location! Came in on a Friday night around 9pm and there was no line. I reserved a Standard SUV and was initially given a RAV-4 (Intermediate SUV). I spoke to Christian M. and asked if there was a bigger car that was an actual Standard SUV and he said someone was going to pull up with one. The staff member pulled up in a Chevy Equinox and it was the same size as the RAV-4. I expressed my concern to Christian and he said he'll go look for a bigger car. Christian ended up finding me a brand new fully-loaded Toyota Highlander and apologized for the wait due to cleaning/sanitizing -- I didn't even wait long! Extremely happy with the car and the service that Christian M. provided! Thank you, Christian!

Same thing with a few that have already commented. I declined fuel coverage for the vehicle and filled up the tank around the corner from this location. When I turned it in, I received a charge for $75 for fuel. I was confused and reached out to customer support the next day to resolve. Since I don't have a receipt of me getting gas that amounted to $16 I paid, or a card charge/statement (paid in cash) they are not honoring it. Even though when I checked out the car they put in their system that it is full lol. What a joke. Avoiding Budget in the future for sure, I have rented from just about every big other car rental place and have not dealt with this issue.

The lady wasn't friendly but customer service wasn't something she excelled in. She charged me $258 in "incidentals", when I inquired why so high, she said "You'll get it back when you return the car." Budget and Avis are the only 2 rentals places at Burbank that open at 5:30a. I came at 5am to get in line to return car. 6 cars in line. I'm 2nd. They took first car and fourth car. Did I mention I was 2nd? What the heck? I asked if there was a reason he took the car 2 cars behind me and he just looked at me. It was 5:25a. I asked him if he could inspect my car. He said inspections start at 5:30am. So I asked him what he did with the cars at 5:10am (cars 1 and 4) and he said "Check them in." I said "So basically, they're turned in?" and he said "Yes." So not sure what's the difference between "Turned in" and "Inspected" so I just left my keys on the dash and left and while I was walking to the airport it got notification that my car was turned in. While waiting for said guy to come back and turn in/inspect my car, the 3rd car guy and I were chatting and told me next time ask for a hybrid so I don't waste much gas (I was given a Jeep Compass). I give up.

It means I didn't have to wait at the rental counter (but I did because I didn't know I was a member of such a rewarding club). So I go downstairs, see my name on this board, and ask someone at that counter, so which one is mine? He tells me I have my choice between a Kia sedan or SUV. The SUV, please. Every time I've reserved a specific vehicle, I've been given something completely different, often times an entirely different class of vehicle. This past weekend I attended a funeral. I earned an electric vehicle, Polaris sedan, but upon arrival, nobody was present to assist me and the vehicle that they assigned me was a 2022 Tesla Model 3. This vehicle was in extremely poor condition. The rear fender was damaged, or was missing a reflector in the bumper, and all the wheel center caps were missing. The interior was in worse condition. It smelled like body odor, the seat adjustment buttons on the driver seat were missing, the steering wheel was ripped into pieces and taped, and the sun visors and headliner were filthy. Furthermore, the vehicle had 92,000+ miles. I've never been in a rental with such high mileage. While renting, within 12 hours of picking the car up, I received an email stating that my return was initiated and the car was received by Hertz. My reservation/ contractual agreement was for 4 days. I attempted to contact representatives at the airport location but no answer. I called customer service multiple times and was placed on hold, but nobody picked up. Completely dissatisfied with Hertz, and will no longer rent from them.

Took my car into Ford in November & long story short there were a number of things wrong which needed to be fixed. I was put in a rental, for what I thought would be a week.... The rental was then extended for multiple weeks due to back orders on parts & the rental I was in was not going to work for a holiday trip to Mammoth. This location did not have a 4WD so the dealer authorized me to take the original rental back & pick up a 4WD at BUR, which I did on 12/24. I asked for the rental for 3 weeks, but the dealer never pulled the contract from the airport so last week my car started being charged for the rental. $7k later & a phone call from Tiffany at this location & we found out the dealer was extending the ORIGINAL contract & not the larger vehicle. Long call with Tiffany yesterday & a pop in today & she had EVERYTHING handled! She even allowed me to swap vehicles and put me in a super clean Ford Explorer (the airport car was super dirty). She ensured me the rental would be fully covered (looks like until the middle to end of Feb) and ensured all the charges on my card would be reversed! Tiffany listened to me on the phone & was nothing but uber accommodating! She deserves a medal for working this out for me! STELLAR customer service!

I paid for the Intermediate vehicle option rather than the base vehicle specifically so I could save on gas. When I arrived, not only was the car I selected unavailable, but NO hybrids were even on the lot. They assigned me another intermediate car, and assured me they'd call me when the hybrid arrived at the end of that same day. It has now been a week and they have not called once. I have called them, though. The branch manager assured me she would find a hybrid from another Hertz location. That was four days ago.
