What in the hell is this place ?? We came in to drop the car after having called to check if they are still open and they confirmed that they are . My husband got here before and asked the guy if it ok if he goes and get the tank filled up and the guy who was here said 'yes sure no problem ,I will be here ' and the gas station is perhaps 100 ft away and by the time we were back the dude locked up right in front of us and left !! He wouldn't even let us get out of the car to drop the key ,just left .Probably dint want to even finish his shift because it was still before 1 PM . I came here after leaving Portland airport enterprise confused, stressed, and all over the place. When I arrived at this location it was a complete 180. The customer service was excellent. Upon entering we were greeted and helped by John! He was such an amazing help by breaking down everything and explaining in detail all my questions asked. The service was fast and I was in and out of there just like I needed. I highly advise coming here it's such a breeze and John has great customer service. It's important to feel comfortable when renting a car and knowing what charges there will be. I will definitely come back here for future car rentals when I need to as I was helped with someone I felt I could trust. Thanks again enterprise! read more

Horrible! Rented a car here and it smelled like vomit covered with bad cleaning chemicals and perfume. Absolutely horrible. I called asking them to switch it but they didn't have any cars and wouldn't check other locations. I ended up having to go to a location an hour away to get a car that didn't smell. Corporate customer service also couldn't check inventory in their stores so I had to call around myself. On my return of the car I was voicing my frustration over the situation and the guy who checked me in showed now interest me in my complaint and actually walked out of the store to check the car while I was in the middle of my sentence. And the ride home was going to make me wait for over an hour. So much for enterprise picking you up. I will never rent from here again. read more

Rotten service still unable to locate my rental that was impounded with all my belongings in it.

Usually, I can find something good to say about any company, but this time we have been let down badly by Enterprise Car rental and I hope someone my be helped by our unpleasant ( to say the least) experience and the amount we are being expected to pay. Talk about 'adding insult to injury.' This is rather a long story but please bear with me because I am LIVID, as we have now received a bill from Enterprise for $4,400! In April/May of this year to were on holiday in Scotland, and the SUV we were in was recalled for an MOT ( a yearly inspection required in the UK to assure a cars road worthiness) and we wasted a day of our holiday and put our schedule a day behind in order to comply with Enterprise's request that we turn our SUV in. We were assured that we could exchange our SUV for one of the same size or larger, with third row seating. The plan was for six adults to share this vehicle and split the expense. We drove to Inverness airport to switch vehicles, unfortunately on the weekend of King Charles coronation, a Bank Holiday, and so everything was not only disorganised but most Enterprise stores we closed. We were informed that someone 'in the office,' made the decision for us that we didn't need an SUV with third row seating, a smaller one would be fine! So we were given a smaller SUV (a left hand drive SUV WITHOUT 3row seating) There were 3 larger SUVS on the lot but we were told that they were reserved!We drove away in a smaller vehicle, while informing the other couple we were travelling with that they would have to go to the expense and inconvenience of hiring an extra car because the car we had been supplied with was only just big enough for four adults and 8 suitcases. We drove away extremely unhappy with the poor service we had received and how shabbily we had been treated. My husband pulled over in to a Courtyard by Marriott parking lot in order to make a telephone call safely, to register our dissatisfaction. I must say that the young man my husband talked to was very nice and most understanding about what had happened, not that there was much he could do about it. Cold comfort to 4 fully grown adults, squeezed in to a vehicle half the size of the one we had reserved. To add insult to injury we have since received a £35 ( $46.50) parking ticket for stopping to make a telephone call safely because the Courtyard by Marriott, in Inverness, parking lot is monitored by cameras. We were in the parking lot for 32 minutes, while my husband tried to get some satisfaction ( unsuccessfully) from Enterprise customer relations. This really did mar what was the holiday of a lifetime. And now to not only receive a bill for more than £4,400, plus the parking fine....well, Enterprise, what have you to say? read more

I would just like to start this off by saying I have never been treated better by a group of employees, than I have by the staff at Enterprise. I rent a car from this branch every week to drive from Vancouver to Seattle, and I have never had 1 issue with my car reservation. I would like to shout out the two people that consistently give me great service. Konstantine or Kosta as he goes by has the best attitude I have ever seen from someone that works in this industry. He is always incredibly happy to help you and I have never seen anything but a smile on his face. I even arrived at the branch about an hour before they opened (I arrived at 6:40 believing the opened at 7:00, only to realize they open at 7:30 and was super early!) it was raining, and cold, but it was my mistake so I put my bags down and was sitting outside waiting for it to open. Well 2 minutes later, the door opens and out comes Kosta telling me to come inside and we can go ahead and get me in my car even thought they didn't open for 40 minutes! I couldn't believe it, most companies wait right up until the minute before they open to open the doors. That is truly amazing customer service! Lastly, I would like to shout out Kelly for also ALWAYS being incredibly polite and friendly. She has checked me in, and given me rides home more times than I can count, and she has always done so very willingly. I always needed a ride home from the branch after bringing the car back, and I always received professionalism and great conversation! I see some negative reviews of this branch, but I feel its for people that don't understand retail, or this industry in general. Mistakes happen, and get resolved, but it doesn't reflect how truly great this branch is. If you need a car, this is definitely the place to go and get one. read more

I got a phone call at 7:30 this morning saying that they were working on a rental for me & I never once heard back all day long when I called in their office with no answer all day long. I was to return the car today, but I was not sure if I can get a ride back before they close. So I called and they assured to me that they will wait until 5：45 pm to return the car. Because of Covid, they changed their closing time from 6pm to 5:30pm, got there at 5:25 ish. I called the number posted on the door. But I was put on hold. I parked the car and still waited on the phone. I walked around the lot but I could not find anybody to talk to. Finally a lady showed up and she said they closed 5 minutes ago. It was 5:35 pm. Even though I arrived before 5:30, because she did not see me, I was late. I tried to do everything right but it seems nobody cares. read more

Needed a car to explore Portland Oregon it was the closet well priced rental car from the hotel we were staying at. A worker there Courtney was such a doll she helped us get a car that was a great fit for us and even got someone to pick us up and drop us off. I wasn't planning to write a Yelp review for this, but then they sent me a link via email and encouraged me to do so; apparently in spite of the fact that I've now reached out to them 3 times with the same complaint and have yet to receive any sort of actual response. First things first: I reserved a full-sized sedan for 10am on a Saturday (for a 2-day rental, scheduled to return at 10am on Monday). I arrived at 10:05am on Saturday and guess what? They don't have any sedans. They ask me if I'd like to upgrade (for free) to an SUV. I mean, not really, but I don't really have a choice, do I? Since you apparently can't keep track of the vehicles you have available to rent vs. the vehicles which have been reserved? Now I get to drive this (admittedly very nice) gas-guzzling SUV 4 hours north, and spend almost twice as much on gas as I'd originally planned. So that started the whole mess, but honestly? I wasn't particularly worried about that. I should have seen it as a sign of things to come, though. We get home Sunday evening and we drop the car off at their lot, leaving the keys in the drop-box (after carefully reading the instructions and warnings around the box). We understand that the car is still our responsibility even if we've left it in the lot, and that any damage to the vehicle overnight will be on us. Check, check, check. I realize when I get home that I'm wearing my sunglasses, and I can't seem to find my regular glasses. Crap. Not good. I realize I left them in the car and do a total face-palm. I call the local branch and leave a message, explaining the situation, providing the vehicle type, my name, and my reservation number, and asking them to please call me back ASAP. As of today (Wednesday), they still have not returned my call. Anyhow, back to Monday. Around 2:30pm they email me my final invoice, and I see I've been charged for a 3-day rental. What the heck? I only had the car 2 days. Less than that, really. Then I see how they got that--they didn't process the vehicle until 2:30pm, which was after 10am, which adds an entire extra day to the rental. Wow, that's a mighty convenient way for them to pad their sales, amiright? I've now reached out to Enterprise in various ways 3 times and have only *just* gotten a response, and that was from their corporate office. Know what they said? That they can't help me, and that they've forwarded my complaint to the local branch. You know? The one that still hasn't returned my call from Sunday evening about the glasses I left in the car? The glasses I wear everyday, 24/7? Yeah, that local branch. Forgive me if I don't hold my breath. Save yourself some trouble and go somewhere else. Enterprise may be cheap, but they sure seem keen on ripping people off. read more

Can't tell you how pleased I am with this locations service and attitude. I am moving to Washington from PHX and was in Vancouver house hunting. However when I called a couple enterprises in the area they were rude and not helpful at all! Instead of helping me find a solution they refused to rent me a car because I was still from out of state and do not own a credit car. Not sure what else to do, I called THIS enterprise. My initial impression was okay. Had a bit of a long wait but that's understandable because the worker was by herself and the poor lady had 3 customers and the phone was ringing off the hook. She did a great job in respect to customer service. For that I definitely give 5 starts.My downside was that my card was charged twice! Once for the end of the month that I came to pay and renew my agreement. I was told what I would have to pay upon my next renewal and I asked verbatim "So I have to pay for last month and the next month together?" She says no. I look at my credit card activity and sure enough! Two full charges! Not a full and a pending, but two full charges. It upsets me greatly when I ask questions for clarity, am given an answer and it turns out to be a lie. Very disappointed. read more

I have an old truck. Lights are either on or off. When I take the key out, the lights go out. Simple. The Ford Edge has three headlight settings, of which one will drain your battery. How in the world was I to know that? Still, a very happy customer. However, once I heard that the contracted AAA service man was not REQUIRED to call me once he arrived, instant ZERO satisfaction. The response time was set to 60 minutes. I didn't mind that. But to wait outside by my car? Unacceptable. At least I was in my driveway. Can you imagine a poor older lady in a Boston winter? Dead battery, can't get into the car. Can't walk across the street to the cafe for hot coffee and a sandwich. Standing there, freezing for a hour. I'm standing out on the street with my son in the cold. Cancelling my plans, he's missing school, I'm missing a Dr.Appt rather than rent here. They want an invasive amount of personal information that they don't verify. They would be willing to accept false information but not willing to accept the truth which is "You don't need this information, especially for the purpose you're saying." Especially if you're not verifying any of it. I'm securing with a card that can buy the car and I have a rental history with them but that's not good enough. They actually said they don't trust me because I'm so reluctant to give them more personal information. Will never rent from Enterprise again. I will not be using them for any of my travel and will be advising all of my associates against using them. Update: Within 15 minutes of calling Hertz I was driving a car. Much better service. Much more friendly staff, much less wait, and no pointless interrogation. read more

Limited selection of cars. No offer of an upgrade. Windshield was dirty on the inside making glares from the sun a nightmare at times. Car was without wiper fluid which made driving a long distance on the highway slightly miserable. I'd rent from them again because of the savings. If you want a wider selection of cars, go to the airport. read more

Pick up service can be very helpful if you need help. If you fly into Portland, take an über or cab ride to this location and save a lot of $ while getting always friendly service. This location has been great with accommodating their customers for the couple of years I've used them. read more

Booked my rental here instead of the airport because it was so much cheaper here. I took Uber from PDX and it was about $15. So worth it! The place was busy and when we picked up our car there was only 2 people working. The car was not ready, but we did get upgraded to a nicer car and it only took about 10-15 minutes to get it ready to go. The lady was very very nice (I cannot remember her name). When we returned our car it was even busier and only one person was working. Very easy process for pick up and drop off, just expect to wait a little while (Thank goodness we left plenty of time to get to the airport before our flight). I would rent here again, given the rate difference. read more

On 1/20 after multiple attempts to get this location to reverse an erroneous charge and the promise by Nate that he would personally take care of it that day and email me a copy, here we are on 1/30 with no action. New person said that they would "make a printout and put it on Nate's desk"...really? What is wrong with you people!? Just do your job and issue the credit. Why do I have to make 5 calls? ..and of course now calling Enterprise Corporate as well....What a waste of time! read more
