The worst customer service and management we had ever dealt with. We have rented from other Enterprise and other rent-a-car facilities and had never run into any problems, but this one could not even provide us with any service or, let alone, assist or work with us in procuring the very service they are trying to offer. rented car thursday needed until sunday. anger said they had to charge us until to essay became they are closed for the holiday. i returned sunday took picture with date and time. they have cameras thats ridiculous paying 2 extra days. left message for area manager hasn't return ed my call yet. horrible. i will never rent again read more

Great service and Anthony and Jay were great at xo forming our online booking and was able to upgrade based on availability. We requested satellite radio and they made sure it was set properly as we had a long round trip drive to Massachusetts for a day trip. Would definitely book here again! read more

Gave my wife a car that made me sick from the horrible air fresheners to cover up the smell of the car. We turned in to get a new one that also smelled. The kicker was we got pulled over in another town because a cop ran plates (out of state plates) while we were waiting for food. Got pulled over and a ticket because the car had expired plates and was not registered. We were able to not have the police impound the car like they were threatening to do because of us not having another car at the time, little children, and PBA relationship. Enterprise said they'd pay the ticket and didn't really care that their car almost got impounded. Now 3 months later find out they didn't pay and the court has added penalties. Enterprise now said that the original guy isn't working there anymore and refused to pay the ticket. read more

Not a huge location or selection of cars. My insurance pays for a category greater than the wheels i got. I am going to go to East Hanover this week & swap cars. They pushed paying for upgrades hard at this location; lame. read more

I have been renting cars for the last 11 months. I began renting at the location in Clifton, I normally always got a great rate and then they switched management and refused to honor the price I had been paying for 3 months. I decided to go to the one in Verona where I spoke with Anthony. I was and still am extremely happy with the customer service and care that Anthony and Jay took when dealing with me. I can be a pain in the ass but Jay and Anthony were always extremely accommodating. Everytime I called they answered all my questions and made the rental experience so easy! Every month they had a car ready for me and if it was time for it to be serviced they made me aware promptly and had me switch. I will never rent from any other enterprise location. I never had this issue before so my fiancé and I had a nice truck that right now it sitting on the side because of a recalled that need fix now from the experience that we both are having now the check engine light keep coming on does anyone do updates on them vehicle or check for things like that because at this point I don't know what to say anymore because we first had a car and now a truck that have a check engine light now so make sure you question first before getting a vehicle about all the little details before getting a vehicle from any place thank have a bless and 4th July be safe everyone read more

Terrible customer service.. The guy who goes by "Kyle" is Rude and unprofessional.

I wanted to exchange cars as the rental we got in Great Neck Enterprise was dirty and way too small. Manager there refused to do anything about it .After driving it for a day we went to a nj location at the beginning of our two week rental and they were completely unhelpful- no cars, no prospects just nothing. They already got our money so no incentive to help. I will never use them again. read more

Three stars for customer service, they lost the other two due to functionality and safety functions of the car that I had for four days. I don't know how they decide who they give certain rentals to, but all I have to say at this time is that of all the Enterprise locations that I have rented from, the vehicle that I rented had to have been the worst. You have to make sure that things like your mirrors and seatbelts are up to safety standards. Other than that, the customer service was up to standards, just please try not to coerce customers into getting the insurance. If they said that they want to use their current coverage, let it be, then let them suffer the consequences if need be. read more

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO RISK DRIVING A CAR WITH EXPIRED TAGS. I was rented a vehicle through my company through this location, I was pulled over (probably due to out of state plates as I have a pristine license and have never gotten a ticket). The nicest Bloomfield police offer did not want to give me a ticket (I had little kids with me, PBA card, and pristine license as I mentioned) however, he informed me that the REGISTRATION ON MY RENTAL VEHICLE WAS OUT OF DATE FOR over12 MONTHS and issued me a ticket for delaying traffic so as not to issue me a moving violation and to avoid impounding the car. He told me to immediately return to the store to have my car exchanged. The manager was deeply apologetic, and told me that this ticket was paid. Fast forward to 5 months later, the ticket was not paid, and I was given a notice for an increased fee, and told if the ticket isn't paid there would be a warrant out for my arrest. They have been a complete nightmare to deal with from a customer service perspective, from expired cars to cars stinking of smoke, to lying to their customers and putting them and their families in harms way. I would not rent from here, or from another enterprise ever again read more

Very unprofessional staff here. The managment is apathetic especially "Desiree". I live three miles from this location and they give me a hard time since I live in West Orange as if Verona is better than West Orange? I have spoken to the area general manager several times and still no change in their pathetic so called "customer service". I would NEVER rent from here and would advise others to rent from a more professional company. I rent from Avis in Parsipanny. The service is more professional and they even allow you to leave your car if needed. Shame on Enterprise-What a Joke :-(. read more

First I had not utilized Enterprise for a few years because I did not like the mileage policy. However, Wayne, the manager, explained that there are unlimited miles for full size cars and below. That helps. But then between Wayne and Augie the guy who picked me up and the young woman who drove me home - I'm all in again with Enterprise. I cannot say enough good things about the group in Verona and I will be renting cars from them going forward - there is no doubt about that. read more

Went to pick up a reserved car today at Enterprise Rent A car in Verona, NJ. Most unprofessional rep ever. Promises the car we confirmed with one rep--to another couple who comes in after us--then when we cancel she won't give me the docs I signed. It's a car not a liver. Gives you no power over my life. These guys are a bunch of scum bags. They cheated me into renting a damaged car and then when i returned it they said it had a scratch and claimed my insurance to pay for it. Had to pay the deductible even though i didnt cause the scratch. Never rent a car from here. read more

I called last minute and spoke with Mike, the manager, regarding a rental van to move some furniture. He was extremely understanding, accommodating, professional and thorough.
