Someone wrote on their page they went there with a coupon and gave a bad review. Since Ledgewood Car Care doesn't offer coupons, that person got mixed up with another place. I have been taking my vehicles here for over 10 years. They are knowledgeable and don't try and sell me other services. If I do need something that I am unaware of they print out a form to let me see it and make up my mind if I want it or not. I trust these guys with my life! Rather than staying focused on the job, the employee was incredibly petty, passive-aggressive with his delayed greetings, and actively tried to shift blame onto me while literally whining when called out. It felt less like an auto shop and more like dealing with an immature child throwing a tantrum. A customer should never be forced to manage a service advisor's fragile ego or childhood-level behavioral issues just to get a car serviced. To make matters worse, another employee from the shop called me later. Instead of calling to actually rectify a terrible customer experience, it was completely obvious he was just fishing for information, looking for internal gossip, and digging for details about what was said. This shop completely lacks professional guardrails, proper boundaries, and basic respect for their customers. They treat their front desk like a personal living room for emotional games. I will absolutely never step foot in this business again, and I strongly advise anyone looking for a clean, professional, drama-free experience to take their money elsewhere.

My husband is elderly and I am disabled. We haven't found any decent cars in our area, so we turned to the internet. We saw a car, a Subaru Outback 6 speed manual, that looked good and met all of our requirements, including price. We live out of state. It is difficult for us to travel. First, George said it couldn't be shipped. Later, he said it could be shipped for $200, claiming he already said that. We called to buy it. We weren't even trying to beat him down in price. George argued with us about buying it. He said he never heard of anyone buying a car without test driving it. People buy cars off the internet all the time. The listing said the car was in excellent shape and came with a 6 month extended warrantee.. Is this a good car? He said that it was 2 months ago. He couldn't say now. Why doesn't this guy want to take our money? George essentially said we couldn't trust him. He said it could only be purchased with a certified bank check - no bank transfer, no credit card. George said if we did this, we would send him the money first, no paperwork. After he gets the money from the certified check, then we buy the car. What stops him from just keeping our money? Our conversation with him was like being in the twilight zone. This was on Friday. On Monday, we had a friend who is a mechanic who lives in NJ go to the dealership, hoping we could get this done. The car was sold. Thank you George. He screwed us. Maybe it's best we didn't get the car. This business seems pretty shady if you ask me.
