Let me begin by saying, I was given a rental car from an insurance company due to someone hitting my car causing major repairs. On the day of receiving the rental car, I had to call several times and wait for an agent to pick me up at the body shop even though I called earlier on in the day and scheduled it. The agent who did pick me up though was very nice and friendly. (I didn't catch her name.) At the rental location, I declined the optional/additional insurance and I felt I was made to feel a little guilty of not taking it which I didn't appreciate at all. (Let me point out that this was a different agent from the ride.) Lastly, there was also another agent at the location who helped me with the controls of the car who was also very nice and very professional. I'm thinking he was the manager or at least should be. A week goes by and I bring back the car in the same condition I got it, if not with even more gas that it originally had. I interacted with the same agent from before; again, he was friendly and very professional. Unfortunately, I received a ride home from the agent who offered me the additional insurance which was uncomfortable. When I told him where I needed to be dropped off at, he asked me why I didn't use the other Enterprise location instead. Really??? 2 stars for the 2 awesome agents who made an unpleasant and stressful situation a tiny bit better. read more

They hide bunch of fees, when I rent a car, Julia told me my insurance will pay $30 and my part is $17 per day. 25 day $17 comes 425 but they charge me $559. When I asked them what is it, they just blame on enterprise company and couldn't even explain what fee is Domestic Security Fee !!!! Even manager Dior Cleaves couldn't explain. If you want rent a sedan they always say that not available and try to push you to SUV to get more money from you. read more

Not a great selection of cars, particularly if you are looking for the cheapest available option. It was disappointing when we arrived that they only had a mid-sized sedan available. However, the manager Andrew helped us out with calling a different location to get a smaller car that was in our price range. He set it up for us at the other location and even offered to drive us over there. Although somewhat inconvenient to have to go to a different location, the customer service was good because he gave us options. The location is easily accessible on route 46. read more

I can't leave a review without giving a star . These people are jerks. Rude and extremely unprofessional is a kind way to describe their behavior. They were annoyed that I was at their location 15 minutes prior to their opening time. So annoyed that they did not think it appropriate to open the door and let me sit inside on a chilly morning as they sat there fat and happy sipping their coffee. I was made to wait outside. I understand that they open at 7:30 and I was there at 7:15, but I also understand that good customer service is offering someone a seat when you see them with their heavy bags standing outside in the cold. When we picked up our rental car the agent told us that our (1st) credit card was declined. Strange, that had never happened before, so I gave her different credit card (2nd) and she charged it and we left. 45 mins later I received a call from the fraud dept. of my 2nd credit card asking if we charged almost $100 worth of gas. We had not. It turns out that the Enterprise agent charged the 1st card for the rental the one they said was declined. This whole incident put a damper on our trip, with multiple phone calls and worry. After we dropped off the car in the lot, the next day the Manager called, without admitting fault he offered to take $20 off our bill for our trouble. I told him no. Customer service deserves 0 stars! I specifically asked the worker when our car had to be returned and she stated we had until Tuesday the next morning and so no need to rush! We returned our car Monday at 6pm and still got charged the full day. I just called and spoke to someone who told me yea she meant that even either way you'd be charged. How about saying that up front so we know that either way if the car is not exactly turned in at a specific time that we are going to be charged which is exactly why I asked!!!! Had I known we were going to be charged for an extra day I would have planned for that instead I was under the impression that we "didn't have to worry". "It's all there when you book" was this lady's response to me just now. So speaking to your reps in person must not mean anything, beyond frustrated. This location is simply awful. Horrible customer service. We have a rental that got damaged during the windy winter storm and resulted in a broken windshield and we have been trying to switch the car for a new one for 2 weeks now and they continue to show no urgency even though there are small children that ride in the car and we constantly get pulled over. I have been using this spot for years and have never had a communication problem with them or any problem in the rental of a car. They pick me up, I get in my car and drive off. I have been renting cars from here for years and never had a problem other than they not having the car I reserved but I was always put into a similar car. The place is small and not a lot of cars to choose from but the prices are cheaper than my car dealer charges me so that is a plus! Great Friendly staff. My only problem is not with this location it's with the smell of the cleaning products they use to disinfect the vehicle when cleaning them. The smell is awful somewhat smells like stall smoke! This place seems like running by crooks or hustlers. Recently, I had rented the car with them as my car was being repaired. Insurance company gave me a reservation code which had two-days of rental. Before I picked up the vehicle, I confirmed with them over the phone, and verified if I can pick up the car on Thurs and return on Sat at same time, (within 48 Hours). The lady said, that's fine. I also indicated that I don't want to pay any extra. When I returned the vehicle on Sat, they said they are going to charge for three days because they were counting Thurs, Fri, Sat as each days. Nobody explained this when I picked up the car, and I was very surprised how they tried to trick customers. I told them my Reservation Code was created for two days, then how come nobody told me I will be charge extra when I asked them if I returned it on Saturday. A young slick dude who acted like a asst manager, came out and told me it is my responsibility to understand difference between insurance and retail way of counting days. read more

Couldn't have asked for better service. Extraordinary and professional customer service. The Little Falls office is small but has met every detail. Whether I reserve a vehicle or just walk in they have always accommodated me. Last time I reserved a vehicle thru enterprise corporate I was told I had to use Main St in Clifton because I live in Clifton. Clifton's cars smell like smoke and the dog hair in the car was unbearable. Upon complaining I had to wait for another car. When I did get another car the cup holder was filthy and had black gook in it. It was disgusting. Told management I will not be using their location again. This place is horrible, they spent 15 minutes trying to sell me on extras I didn't need and then charged by credit card months later $21.00 because I never switched over my easy pass which they neglected to tell me I should do. $1.50 for the toll the rest of the charge was a service charge for dealing with the issue. There is nothing like an extraordinary customer service experience!!! I've been renting more often than usual as of latefor work but usually at the Montclair office. They are nice but nothing to write home home about. I really needed a mini van this past Friday and only Little Falls had availability. Despite my online reservation, upon arriving I was informed that the mini vans were all reserved and asked to take a Ford Flex instead. I was immediately annoyed but at 5pm I needed to make something work. Then comes Audrey G. She was patient and friendly and I couldn't bare to be mean to her, even though I was unhappy. She walked me through each of my options for bigger vehicles and even let me put the seats down in each to see if the space would be enough for my needs. Seems small but totally above and beyond in my book. She exemplified great spirit and was the right amount of apologetic and sympathetic to my dilemma. I left happy. The vehicle ended up being too small for my project so screwed up my plans but I won't hesitate to rent from this location again. After all, customer service is what it's about.
