Excellent service at Enterprise Westbury! I had a great experience thanks to Jake and Bryan. Jake helped me when I was very pressed for time and was incredibly kind and efficient. He even upgraded me so I could get on the road quickly, which I truly appreciated. Bryan handled my check-out and he was amazing. Although he usually works at the Huntington location, everything was fast and smooth. I was running late, and on top of that, he went out of his way to give me a ride to my destination. I highly recommend Enterprise, and especially the Westbury location--it's the one I always use, and the service never disappoints. read more

I had rented a car via Credit card Travel Points. It was a fiasco because it was at another Enterprise a 1/2 hour away. I called and canceled and made a regular reservation utilizing my Enterprise app. Mile was Friendly And helped us rent a car. He even dropped is off at the Westbury LIRR the next day. I used this location to rent the car while my vehicle was having work done at Alfa Romeo. Do not use this location. They have a scam going on with a 3rd party toll company called eract toll company. My credit card that was only given to Enterprise was charged over $100 in tolls, but I never left Long Island with my vehicle. Enterprise admitted that it was the people before me using the vehicle, but would not correct the charges, they gave me the number to the toll company, which gave me the runaround for three days and refused to reimburse me. enterprise says dispute with then they say dispute with enterprise. I had to call my bank and dispute the charges. Please be careful when using this location. they were not professional at all. read more

I recently had an accident with my own car. Through State Farm (my insurance agency) I had arranged for a rental through Enterprise. I was picked up by an Enterprise representative from All-Pro on Old Country Road and presented with their (limited) selection of cars. The rep was pushing me to take a BMW 7-Series sedan ("have some fun" were his words). I hardly ever drive a car; only in bad weather. I was hoping for a compact or economy car. The could of examples they had available needed repair (according to him). All he had were pick up trucks, SUVs and luxury sedans. Not knowing any better, I opted for the Infiniti Q50. I returned the car with hardly any additional miles and more fuel in the tank (it only had 1/4 tank when it was given to me) than it had. I just found out just HOW bloody expensive that rental was! My insurance company would only cover $1,000 and I was just told I now owe them ANOTHER $1,100.00!! It would've been nice if someone had explained that to me when I signed for the damned thing. I'm a recent retiree living off my savings (Social Security won't kick in till next year) and I REALLY didn't need this unplanned expense! read more

They picked me up from my mechanics to the office as my car needed to stay overnight with my mechanics as it needed some fixes and I needed a rental for the next day. In addition, the office also dropped me back to my mechanics after I returned the rental car. The crew is polite and helpful with the rental choices you need and they help you as much as they can to fit your needs. In addition, this place offers luxury choices like: Audis, BMWs, muscle cars, and others. My rental choice was an amazing ride! Rented a vehicle for over 2 weeks. Started with a suburban from a local enterprise. Although it was only 4 people we rented a 8 seater wince we had a lot of luggage - camping stuff. I did check with them before renting should some misshapen occur if will we be able to get a same kind of vehicle while on the road, and were told yes. Few hours into the trip, we met with an accident (we were at no fault) and had to change vehicles. When contacted with enterprise, we were offered a smaller vehicle and were told they were only obliged to provide a vehicle that fits the number of passengers. When asked about the belongings that we have, we were told its up to us as what we want to do with them. After conversation with the local branch manager and customer service for over 2 hrs we were given an infinity when they actually had a suburban available. We could it see it parked right next to the infinity that we were given. Just to confirm it was available, i tried renting a suburban online from that location and was able to. When checked the same with customer service, we were told that they can get us a suburban if we cancel the current reservation and place a new reservation - at the same location, which again confirmed the availability of suburban in that location. Finally ended up with the infinity which totally did not meet our space requirement. Hoping to get the vehicle changed, we tried a few other locations on the way spending a lot of time and going out of the way. Customer service would confirm availability of a suburban and will ask us to go to a location. But when we get there, they denied the availability of the vehicle. One location when called over the phone by one of our friends asking for a vehicle was told they have a suburban available. But when we went to the location, they refused availability. We ended up using the infinity for the 2 weeks and had to ship some our luggage separately. The whole trip was uncomfortable due to lack of space and inefficient customer service. On top of all this, now the bill sent is much higher than originally accepted. Paying more for less - totally unacceptable. read more

I really rarely write reviews, but the TERRIBLE SERVICE I received here took the cake. Everything was fine until I went to return my vehicle. Justin, the person who "assisted" me with my return, found hair in the vehicle and accused me of having a pet. He said that it was not allowed per the policy, which is WRONG and the policy does NOT state that. I tried to tell Justin that there was no pet and that my nana was in the car and she suffered from Alopecia (the disease that causes hair loss.) He was incredibly arrogant and would not listen to my explanation. He then forced me to get a car wash or else I would be charged a whopping $85 for the "detailing" that they would have to do What a ridiculous and insensitive location. If you live close, take the extra time and go to another location. read more

Enterprise Customer Service is HORRIBLE. this is a follow up to my initial review 4/17/23 regarding the Westbury location and I have now added a review regarding their customer service. below is my initial review as well as the response from their customer service. enterprise customer service is HORRIble. it seems like they have a standard response for every negative review. anyway, I did exactly as the customer service person (lisa S.) in the below response asked. I emailed them all the details. was emailed back saying someone would contact me. never heard from them again. after two more emails and three phone calls to customer service, I was told each time that someone would reach out to me, as they told me it has to be escalated to someone else. have never heard back. they even gave me a reference number to my complaint to use each time I call. Looking forward to another B.S. generic Response to this review from their Customer Service. while my car was in the bodyshop for repair., my insurance company set up a rental for me at this location. I pay to have this coverage in my policy. $40 max a day coverage. when I showed up to get a car, my only request was to have a mid size car. they tried to push me into an SUV. they told me they didn't have any mid size cars on the lot. they showed me several cars that were available. person tried to push me into a BMW SUV, but reminded him I didn't want an SUV. as mentioned, they told me mid size cars were limited on the lot. person gave me a choice of 3 cars that would be about the size of a mid size car. I selected one and reminded him that my coverage was for only for $40 a day max. he told me that they discounted this car so it would be under the $40. wrong. after having the car for 10 days, they charged me $20 extra a day. sounds like they claimed no mid size cars available, so they can give you a different car and up charge the customer. I have to say I have never received such exceptional service at a Enterprise Rent-A- Car Branch. Everyone in the branch is very friendly and professional so you get the service that makes you want to come back but all praises for this particular review go to CLAUDIA. I could see Claudia being a future top executive in the company. I was distressed after a horrible situation and Claudia showed such empathy and compassion towards me. She was so polite and professional. She put me in a new vehicle quickly and even showed me all the bells and whistles on the vehicle. She made sure to address and issues or concerns I may have and asked if there was anything else I needed before I drove off. I live in another county and pass so many Enterprise branches but this branch will definitely be my number one choice. I had an extremely poor customer service experience at Enterprise at the Westbury location. I was renting because my car was in a garage, and I dropped it off with a 25lb package of dog food. When I realized my mistake, I reached out immediately and was given the run around. The first person said she would check the main location and get back. After not hearing back for several hours, I called back again. This time I was put on hold for 10 min, and then the customer rep said that it wasn't there. Basically she said she couldn't do anything. Apparently the cars are cleaned before being re-rented, so where can a 25lb bag go? Very frustrated. Will never use or recommend Enterprise to anyone. read more

Company is supposed to close the doors at 6pm employees walk out at 5:40pm and just tell you to drop off the keys then charge you and additional day of rental fees. Associates do a very bad job of explaining the policy and I was not aware of the cut off time (scam) to bring back the car as I don't frequently need to rent and it was for a emergency only. But why would they tell you how they get you to pay for an additional 24-hours of a car you don't even have in your possession. Instead of working out a discounted rate for the extra day or forgiving it completely the associate just basically said it's policy and left it at that. I'm all for company policy and following the rules though I can't follow rules and policy that was not given to me for someone that never needs a rental I'm lucky I will never have to go back for a long time I feel for those that need to go to this place frequently. Side note: multiple cars not available do you plates being expired don't know what that means for a place that rents cars to not be on top of their cars it's like the only thing you have to do Drive safe just not with them. read more

The worst enterprise branch ever!! I dealt with a woman named Courtney twice. The first time she assured me that the vehicle I was renting had a back up camera so I drive off and low and behold there's no camera. The second time I pick up a rental she gives me a Toyota Camry that has a broken key. It actually broke in her hand while she was trying to start the car and she laughed it off saying it's the only key she has for the car and that it will be fine. A week later I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere with my child, the car won't start because surprise the key broke. Do not ever go to this branch!!! read more

From the time you walk in and until you are done renting, they treat you with professionalism and respect. They have the most amazing vehicle lineup, even Masarati. I rented few vehicles from here and man, wow they have good cars! Other locations don't even compare to what these guys carry. Also, they really go beyond to help you rent the vehicle of your choice with the lowest and fair rates, without sending one in coma. Courtney is an amazing manager, who went above and beyond to make my rental hassle free, also thanks to her staff, Claudia and Greg, who did an amazing job! I'm an active member of Enterprise, Hertz and Avis, but this Enterprise location definitely is an Ace in my book, and has met and surpassed my expectations. After an accident my insurance co gave me a rental. Unfortunately it was with Enterprise, Westbury location. They gave me a super small 3 door Hyundai Veloster even though I told them that I had to put my elderly mom, her wheelchair and my older handicapped brother in it the next day. They said it was all they had. Since then I've called them about half a dozen times telling them I needed a different car. They've not returned my calls, hung up on me and left me on hold claiming the mgr wasn't available. All they keep saying is none of their LI locations have any cars. Oh, except Mercedes and Audis. Long story short: This Enterprise location refused to issue me a refund, even after learning that they made a mistake. Long story: My car dealership offered me an Enterprise rental while my car was being fixed. Upon signing the paperwork for the rental car, I DECLINED ALL additional insurances & waivers. I was explicitly told that my dealership would cover ALL costs relating to the rental, and that they're covering a damage waiver as well....... One month later I get a bill for a damage waiver, so I call Enterprise only to be rudely told that "you signed the waiver, there's nothing we can do". I then contact my dealership and they verify that they covered the damage waiver. So I call Enterprise back and try to have them verify the charges were covered by the dealership. At this point you would think the charges are between Enterprise and the Dealership? Nope. Enterprise refused to refund me despite admitting to the billing error. They never got back to me, nor tried to remedy the situation, and each time I called or emailed about a refund, I was ignored. read more

I know there a lot of negative reviews about this location however I did NOT have the same experience. When I got there to pick up my car, Adam was really helpful and got me in a car in 20 mins. He explained they were quickly cleaning a car that was just returned and as soon as it was done would get me on the way. When returning the car, I couldn't get the car returned exactly on time and when I called to let them know they graciously allowed me to return the car when I could without charging me more money. I was very appreciative of that! Lastly, I accidentally left my beach chair in the trunk of the car and the manager went out of her way to call the new renters and get the chair back for me. I recommend this location to anyone. Keep in mind how you treat others are exactly how you will be treated. Be kind and you be treated with kindness! I called in to see if it was possible to swap out a vehicle that I currently have. I spoke to a representative by the name of Brittany which claims she is the manager of this location. She was extremely rude and her attitude was disgusting. I explained to her that the Cadillac that I'm currently renting is too big and she suggested a mini van. I laughed and said "that would be a much better ride". After, I informed her that the sarcasm was appreciated. She then told me to have a nice day and hung up the phone. This kind of service should not be tolerated. There should be disciplinary action once reviewed. read more

Best customer service from a car rental company hands down. Very pleasant helpful and accommodating. I'm giving them a four only because they don't have tons of car options, there has been a few times where I requested online for a specific type of car (i.e. compact vs. full size) but then I've had to get something I didn't particularly want although the price is always the same. Its really no big deal but I do notice that they don't have a huge selection to choose from. This is definitely my go to spot whenever I need to rent a car and I live in Queens surrounded by tons of rental options but prefer to make the trek out to Westbury to come here. read more

We have used this location a couple of times. Both times they were fantastic! Great customer service. We drove away in a car that began to smell like cigarette smoke after the first few hours of driving around, we called them, and they graciously offered to switch us out cars. They even gave us an upgrade at no additional cost for the inconvenience. Highly recommended location! read more

Let's start with the fact that you denied my mother, a U.S. military soldier a rental and she had to stand in the rain until one of her children was able to get to her and pick her up. She was in full uniform and needed to get a rental due to unfortunate circumstances that left her without a vehicle she chose your company to bring her hard earned money and provide you with business and you're going to pull some petty shit based off an address??! Are you kidding me. What do you think she went to party city and picked up a damn uniform to play soldier are you that incompetent and miserable in life that you don't know that she is NOT required to update her license if it isn't expired? Newsflash soldiers get orders allllll the time it's part of the job. And I'm not even military personnel myself I did a trip from California to Florida && Texas to Virginia with my license and credit card address being different with NO issues whatsoever. She doesn't live and work in New York just for the fun of it this was so ridiculous and am so angered that you can't conduct business properly my mom did not need to be out in the rain. We dropped our rental car off and had to wait for an Uber to pick us up to take us to the airport. My husband and I were traveling with our 9 month old baby, and unfortunately we had two Uber drivers speed away once they saw we were traveling with a baby. The representative at this enterprise location was so kind and helpful! She called us a cab and let me change and feed my child in her private office. I could not believe how kind and thoughtful she was--I wish I had asked for her name. Wonderful experience all around! read more

Nice people work here, but they seemed understaffed at least on the Saturday when I rented. They took my information quickly enough, but then the same people who work the counter disappeared. I was able to peak through a window in the door that leads to the garage to see them vacuuming cars, checking tire pressure, and adding fluids. You would think they could have a person dedicated to this activity rather than each counter agent doing everything themselves. Plus you would also assume that they would have taken care of this checklist before I showed up since I booked online weeks earlier and needed a minivan - not just a standard sedan. So what I thought would take 10 or 15 minutes took 35 to 40 instead. But the convenient location makes up for some of this. Maybe weekdays are better? read more
