less than 1 star review. I had rented a vehicle for 5 pm pick up which was confirmed. I received an email to pre- check so I did that to make it easier upon arriving. At 4:52 pm I was left a voicemail that there were out of cars. 8 minute grave period, left me no time to schedule anything else. they offered to drive to a location I had just come from and said it would be a couple of minutes, it took me 45 minutes to get from Dearborn to Woodhaven for the confirmed 5 pm pick up. needless to say I walked several miles home from Woodhaven enterprise with my work bag and 12 beautiful tacos. From my experience yeaterday I would not recommend and certainly would not use my dollars at any enterprise. there is simply too many alternatives that will honor your choice to do business with them. I walked to hertz the next day and the vehicle I ordered was ready and waiting for me (for $50 less). i took other peoples experience with enterprise for granted and chose to use them, I was let down and agree. "if it can happen to them, it can happen to you"--- the customer service was also terrible, they let me know they were sorry. that helped a lot on my walk home 0 stars, 0 professionalism, 0 concern. go down the road to Hertz read more

This establishment should not be in business; the staff does not have the proper knowledge when it comes customer service and running a car rental company. They illegally steal money out of your account without notifying the customer which in turn lead you to dispute charges. This is a practice that need to be stopped asap!! If I could give zero stars I would. This a fairly long review so I'm going to say at the beginning I recommend NO ONE that works hard for their money go here to rent a car I mean no one. I'm extremely disappointed in my experience with enterprise I never thought while dealing with a so-called "professional" company, I would deal with them running a scam. That is partially my fault for being overly trusting and friendly to people and a corporation that is deceitful. Long story - they took money from my account without permission and also before filing a claim with my insurance company for something that was already wrong with their vehicle and something if you know anything about cars you can tell it was an internal electronic issue. But they put the blame on me and did zero investigation, when all asked was a proper investigation be done and run the cameras back because if they did, they would see this damage was already there before we drove the car off the lot but was simply overlooked (because the average person is looking for body damage not lights). We would've been cleared of any wrong doing if they reviewed the camera footage but of course they won't because they don't want the blame to be on them and then they would have to pay - corruption is at an all time high. I find it comical as soon as the vehicle was returned - the so called branch manager walked straight to where the questionable damage could be found nowhere else. They knew this damage was there before renting it out but they wanted to play that the "change of condition" role because of their mistake. The manager started questioning who is your insurance? and what is your deductible? then she states we are going to take the money right now without even running an investigation or filing a claim with my insurance. (I find out that there is nothing in there policy agreement where it state take money first, investigate later) I have asked to speak to their area manager still no call nor email back to discuss this manner. But I know exactly how enterprise works I have a close family member that use to work for them and they would be ping and fined for missing that damage so they blame the customer so they can clear their hands and the customer has to pay. It's been a week later and still no investigation was done just my hard working money gone. I have heard horror stories about this place but I didn't believe them until now. Please rent a car from somewhere professional where you are valued and appreciated. These people are scam artist and liars. DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE! read more

I the best experience with them! over the phone I think I talked to owen? but he was super helpful and understanding! then when I went to pick up the car I spoke with jaila who was so funny & super sweet! she took into account that I owned a nicer car and she helped put me into an even better rental than my car! Jaila was so helpful, professional, and pleasant to work with. She took care of everything i needed. When I needed to switch out my rental car she took care of that, even washed and cleaned the car herself to make sure i had a nice clean vehicle to switch without making me feel uncomfortable at any point. (This isn't my 1st Rodeo) I have had the most terrible experience with your company during my rental because of a car accident. First it took 4 days to get a car because there were no available cars in the area, when I was able to get a car is was available it was priced outside the $30/per day that the insurance company pays. Your agents kept harassing me (I felt profiled) regarding out-of-pocket payments every 4 or 5 days. I spoke with them yesterday they stated that the insurance company stopped pay as of Friday (2/16) but they have not received the entire payment of $900 from the insurance company. I sent an email to my agent yesterday stating what the enterprise agent Julian told me. Farley (whom I have never spoke with) stated he spoke with the insurance, and they advised him they did not owe anything else. I called to get an understanding of what I owe so I could and what the insurance company still owes, MINUTES after hanging up with Jillian and the insurance company calling Jillian advising her the committed to the entire $900. Farley sends a rude text message (313.405.7458) to my husband stating that if we do not have the car there TODAY by NOON we will be placed on the DO NOT LIST. This is rude and unnecessary I had already advised Jillian I would be turning in the car tomorrow, because if I had to pay out of pocket I would rather rent with Avis because I am a Preferred Plus member and they do not treat their customers like this. I only asked for a day to make sure the insurance company committed to what they are supposed to do. I already have to pay for today. I do not appreciate Farley threats and rudeness. It was not like you have not received any money I had paid close to $500 out of my pocket and the insurance company committed to $900. This message will be placed on every site I can google so that other people will know what to expect from Enterprise. read more

I had to rent a car through my car insurance company while mine was in the shop. When I started my rental, I received a curtesy call which was appreciated, and since there were no issues with the car, I didn't return the call. Then I started getting calls saying my car was going to be ready on Wednesday, which was weird since I hadn't heard from the body shop where my car was. The body shop said my car wasn't ready and didn't know why Enterprise was calling me. My insurance company also said Enterprise had no reason to call me since the insurance covered the rental. When my car was finally ready for pick-up, I heard from Enterprise for a 4th time telling me that my car was ready at the shop and if I didn't return the rental the insurance company would not cover the rental cost. That phone call came 3 hours before the body shop even called me. I suppose this Enterprise location is great if you're renting directly from them, but they'll probably harass you if you have to rent through an insurance company. read more

They can't always get me the vehicle I'm looking for and I have had some issues with mechanical issues with the vehicles, but they do their best and are always friendly. I've been getting rentals for years through Enterprise, particularly this location. Always had a good experience and high level of positive customer service up until the last year I would say. Today was my last straw. The long term rental I had until my company car was due in had given me a lot of trouble with the key fob. It got to the point where the screen on the dash said "incorrect key fob" and the fleet servicing company said take it in this is a tech issue that a battery change won't help. When I got there I was told to go to the airport. Mind you the car wouldn't start all morning and the fleet provider gave me an emergency start procedure to get to the location. I had to ask, this was now 2x in a 3 month period where I had to say "what can I do to help you get this right?" I was met with an attitude and really unwillingness to assist. I was told my company needed to upgrade the car level to help me. The fleet company was treated rudely as well and was shocked at how unwilling these guys were to help out. After all of that, I needed help getting a car seat out, not in, and I was told we can't do that. It wasn't until I said well I'll leave it in there that someone unlatched 1 of the 3 points and I said I would finish as he kept reminding me it wasn't something he should do. This is unacceptable and frankly the way I've been treated by 2 in particular when I've always been cordial is unprofessional. You have a problem with your branch here. I'm not one to complain often. Beyond excellent. I came from Maryland and needed a rental to drive to Pennsylvania. I got in a Nissan Sentra and one tire needed air. I took it back and without any hesitation, Rick put me in an upgrade without question and sent me on my way. Do not rent from here. I was caught in between the last customer and enterprise. What I thought was just a flat tire when I came out from shopping turned out to be a $600 cost to me. My roadside assistance person told me the rim had a very small crack in it which was causing it to slowly lose air. Instead of just adding air, I called Enterprise. I needed the care for a long drive in the morning so I asked for a different car. Later that day they explained to me that because I am the one who reported it, that I was responsible for it. It has been a few years since I last rented a car, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I called for a pick up and after a little confusion on my location my ride showed up. He was pleasant and professional. Once we arrived at the store the professionalism continued. The staff was very attentive had wonderful smiles and made me feel pretty good with the entire experience. I will rent from them again and I hope their customer service stays the same.
