He even reminded me to add furney pads to protect the cargo. After the move I dropped off the truck in Merced at a location that was closed, not a problem. I broke out the app and followed the drop off instructions. Took a few pics, mileage and gas, location of truck. Then dropped the keys in the overnight drop box. That's it, just walk away. I double checked my app the following day to make sure everything was gravy, it was, experience complete. The value was on point and the little service involved was excellent. I took off one star because they don't allow vans to go one way out of town.

Since I rented a van, they had a special where I could get one month free of storage space. Score! :) We still have the storage spaces. The reason I say "spaces" is because their storage space rentals are a better deal if they put two together for the customer. The monthly rent is a decent amount (between other places that are higher or lower in cost). It is awesome because you can drive your car or truck into the storage facility and unload your belongings close to the storage unit. One small down side: Our storage units are closest to the stairs not the elevator. It is just the way the floor plan is set up. All in all I would recommend. I posted a few photos. :)

This time, they repaired my daughter's Kia. The work was easy - replace a bumper - but the service was exceptional. I had a crazy week that made scheduling very complicated, and Tuan and Tim both went out of their way to make sure that I was accommodated, when it would have been totally reasonable not to. I typically prefer to use independent shops when possible, but I have to admit I've been very impressed with Caliber on Bangs.

I wouldn't have thought anything of it if she was letting them know, "Please hold" but she continued having a 6 minute conversation in the middle of our conversation while I just stood there not knowing what to do. She hung up and said, "Thank you for holding!" I was so shocked, I just smiled. Then I came to drop off my car and nobody was inside, I waited at the front desk for about 5 minutes, walked back outside to my car and came back in and still waited, then someone finally came in from outside. In Oakdale, someone is constantly at the front desk and you also speak with the repair worker during the estimate meeting and speak with the same one after for a run down. It is also them doing the estimates so you're hearing directly from them, not the office people. They would call while I was at work so I would text back. As I was managing a drop off person so I could let them know a pick up time the person messaging me was so rude, stating I didn't answer their question if I was picking up my car. They weren't rude when they approached you so it also came as a shock due to this. I was in shock that they are ok with treating customers this way and how they weren't more patient or understanding. Disappointing lack of support and accountability…read more I am writing this review after exhausting every reasonable option and giving this dealership ample opportunity to assist. I brought my 2021 GMC Yukon to Alfred Matthews GMC for diagnosis of a serious water intrusion issue. Their technicians confirmed that one of the sunroof drain tubes was disconnected (despite no prior work ever being done to the vehicle, and a known technical service bulletin being out for this being a known issue from the factory) and that the sunroof frame itself is leaking. As a result, there is mold present under the carpet and padding -- a legitimate health and safety concern. I am a disabled veteran, and I approached this situation respectfully, asking for help through proper channels after my extended warranty and CarMax declined coverage. I was not asking for anything unreasonable -- even partial goodwill assistance would have been appreciated. What I found most troubling was not GM's refusal (corporate policies are what they are), but this dealership's refusal to even submit a goodwill request on my behalf. I was told outright that they would not pursue goodwill assistance because "it would be a no anyway." No request submitted, no advocacy, no attempt. I was also informed -- implicitly -- that because I did not purchase my vehicle through Alfred Matthews GMC, goodwill support was essentially off the table. This is unacceptable. A GMC dealership represents the GMC brand, not only vehicles sold on their lot. I have lived in San Diego for years and chose this dealership expecting brand-level support, not transactional gatekeeping. To be clear: * I did not cause this issue * I maintained the vehicle responsibly * The failure was confirmed by their own technicians * Mold was documented * I approached the situation calmly and professionally Yet I was met with indifference and a refusal to advocate for a customer -- and a veteran -- facing a costly repair stemming from a known issue. If you are looking for a dealership that will simply diagnose and bill, this may suffice. If you are looking for a dealership that will stand behind the brand, advocate for customers, and demonstrate integrity, this experience fell far short. I am deeply disappointed and expected better from both GMC and Alfred Matthews GMC.

I initially took my car to a different shop, and the mechanic there assured me he would handle everything -- from working with my insurance to making my car look brand new. Weeks went by (5-6 weeks), and every time I called to check in, he kept saying he was "taking care of it." Eventually, I contacted my insurance directly -- only to find out they had never even heard from the shop. My car had just been sitting there all that time, untouched. I was beyond stressed and had no idea what to do next. That's when I called Caliber Collision and spoke with Celina. Within 20 minutes, she had already contacted my insurance, got all the information she needed, and even arranged a tow truck to get my car out of the first shop. She was so on top of it, kind, and made me feel like she genuinely cared. This shop did more for me in 2 days than the other shop did in 6 weeks. I can't express how thankful I am that I found them. I now have complete trust in Caliber Collision and feel truly blessed to have brought my car here. Highly recommend! 5++++ STARS!! 1 Star -- Extremely Disappointed with Caliber Collision…read more I had a horrible experience with Caliber Collision and would not recommend them to anyone. They were far more concerned about their "turnaround time" than actually repairing my vehicle properly. They kept aggressively pushing me to pick up my car after 5 PM on a Friday -- clearly so I wouldn't be able to inspect the work or come back to complain until Monday if there were issues. I specifically asked them to save and reinstall my aftermarket parts. They agreed -- then broke them, replaced them with lower quality parts, and now claim they "can't contact" the shop I bought them from. One phone call on my end and the shop immediately confirmed Caliber never contacted them and provided me an invoice. So that was a lie. The estimator was also extremely pushy about my rental. She went behind my back and told Enterprise my car was finished when it wasn't, and said I'd be returning the rental Friday at 5 PM -- without my confirmation. I work past 5 PM. Enterprise told me it was "out of their hands" because Caliber reported the car done and that I would be responsible if insurance didn't approve the rental over the weekend. Because of their misinformation, I had to leave work early just to pick up my car -- only to find out the repairs weren't even finished. Then on Monday I was told it was done, but that I now needed to personally contact the aftermarket shop, buy new parts myself, and wait for insurance reimbursement. Meanwhile, they kept pressuring me to return the rental saying it wasn't approved -- which was also false. When I contacted my adjuster, she confirmed the rental WAS covered because Caliber was still working on my suspension... even though they were telling me the car was "ready." This shop has been dishonest, disorganized, and unprofessional. They caused unnecessary stress, wasted my time, mishandled my vehicle, and tried to rush me into accepting incomplete and subpar work. If you care about your car, avoid Caliber Collision
