I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe other renters deserve to know about my experience…read more I rented a vehicle for a long-distance trip with my two children. During the trip, I noticed the front tire appeared to have significant wear, including visible weathering and cracking, which caused me to question whether it was safe to continue driving. My first priority was the safety of my family, so I immediately contacted the host to ask how they wanted to handle the situation. Throughout the trip, I remained focused on resolving the safety concern. I sought professional opinions because I was receiving conflicting information about the condition and age of the tires. Rather than ignore what I believed could be a safety issue, I reported it to Turo so it could be properly reviewed. Turo's maintenance policy requires tires to meet minimum tread depth requirements, be free of cracks and dry rot, and comply with the platform's maintenance standards. My concern was always whether the vehicle met those standards--not anything personal toward the hosts. I appreciated the hosts' attempts to communicate with me, and I reflected that in my review by giving them a 5-star overall rating. My only low rating was for vehicle maintenance because I genuinely believed the condition of the tires warranted it. My goal was never to damage anyone's reputation, but to ensure the issue was addressed before another family rented the vehicle. After I reported the safety concern, our interactions changed significantly, and the host later left a review describing me as rude and disrespectful. I disagree with that characterization. My communication throughout the trip is documented in the message thread and was centered on the vehicle's condition and my family's safety. I hope the tire issue has been fully addressed, because no guest should have to question whether the vehicle they're renting is safe to drive. My purpose in sharing this review is not to attack anyone, but to encourage proper vehicle maintenance and transparency so future renters can travel with confidence.

Instead what we got was our whole house loaded up in 2 hours! These guys were go getters! I highly recommend this company. First, when the owner called me to set up the time, he was completely rude. Correcting me on the size of the trailer that I had rented from another company, he insisted twice that I was wrong. I eventually had to blow him off in mid conversation because of it. Second, he would not acknowledge the charity that I was wanting half my stuff delivered to. I had to force the issue. They were hired to load my trailer and take half my stuff to a charity that I chose. This was a very simple move for them to complete. But when I was telling them where I wanted my stuff donated, they requested that I give them the donations for their own charity. While this charity is a worthy charity, it has nothing to do with their company, just someone that works there deals with it. They were so insistent and repeated themselves over and over about it that I felt obligated. Very unprofessional.
