Danielle was incredibly intuitive regarding what I wanted, and despite me having deceptively thick hair, she had me out of there within 3.5 hours, which included a whole head of balayage foils, time under the dryer, a toner, and a cut. I'm obsessed. I ended up with the perfect ash blonde blunt lob that I imagined, but hadn't yet experienced. Danielle is aces, and I have my stylist for life, as long as she'll book me! I started going to Entourage 3 years ago and Suzanne is the BEST. She knows exactly what I want, my personal style, and I'm always 150% satisfied when I leave. Yes, it is a little pricey - but it's well worth it. In February I agreed to getting my hair done by an apprentice in San Francisco and I was so upset with my new do (think Monica on FRIENDS circa 1996) that I made an appointment w/ Suzanne to fix it. I was still in shock at the length (the apprentice cut 8 inches off!!) but she was able to work her magic and make me look like I was part of this century. I will never do that again! I went to Entourage to get my hair and makeup done for my wedding day in September. Everything turned out absolutely beautiful and just as I dreamed I wanted to look on my wedding day! It was just perfect. Natalie did my makeup, and achieved the exact look that I was going for: natural, romantic, soft, beautiful. I don't usually wear a ton of makeup, so wanted a natural look, yet taken up a few notches for my wedding! I came in a few months before the wedding for a trial, which was a great idea so we could decide exactly how I wanted to look for the actual day. Honestly, my makeup turned out so beautifully that I didn't even know makeup could be that beautiful (and easy to wear--- it lasted all day and night. I actually didn't need to do any touch-ups). Pearl did my hair, who was also super wonderful! Similarly, I went in for a trial a few months before, where we tried out a couple of variations on my look. The end product was perfect! I opted for a low bun to compliment my lace back dress. She was so lovely is a true professional at what she does! My sisters and mom also had their hair and makeup done by other stylists (Dante and others) and their hair and makeup turned out just beautifully! I would highly recommended Entourage for wedding day hair and makeup. They made it super easy to schedule, the prices were VERY reasonable, were so sweet the whole time we were there, were efficient (we actually finished earlier than we thought!) and even gave us complimentary mimosas! Whoa, I'm first to review Entourage?? I've had Suzanne cut my hair twice. She's great! I once told her what I wanted and she cut it exactly. The second time, I asked her what she suggested. It was a bit different from my usual and I liked it. For now, if I'm getting the usual, I'll go somewhere a bit cheaper. Haircuts are between $55 - $75. I HaVE so much to say. The employees are most definitely what keep the people coming to this salon. Raquel, Natalie, Adele, Pam and Suzan are the most Highly recommended overall whether it be for hair, nails or skin care needs. Although all are unique in their own ways. Having worked there I know how fast paced their jobs can be and they do well. Although I may not agree with a few things I will continue to recommend people in hopes that they can enjoy themselves in a unique salon that offers anything from hair, nails, waxing, tanning, massage a full bar and more. I met Justin as his model at a fashion show and I instantly admired his creativity & edgy style. I told myself "my hair MUST meet him again!" I went to visit Justin at Entourage and was impressed by the cleanliness and modern decor of the salon! They even have a modern spa and wine bar/ w food menu. We went for a classic look and it was beautiful. I have visited Justin a 2nd time for a more edgy cut/color since and it was again been a great experience (with lots of compliments). Linda is absolutely fabulous. I usually get my hair cut and highlighted by her and she does an amazing job. She let's you know exactly what's she doing and why, and I love that. Furthermore, they are quite timely for a hair salon! I don't know the number of times I've waited long past my appointment time for the stylist to finish up. I've never waited more that 10 mins at Entourage and they are so kind and apologetic. My stylist, Anna Maria did an incredible job on my color. I have some "unfortunate" grey hairs and as a designer am really picky about color. She took the time to consult and didn't rush my appointment. I was very happy with the cut as well. Just the right amount of conversation. I was booked for a bikini wax with Natalie. She did a thorough job :) - and was extremely personable and professional. I have had my share of waxing disasters and am thrilled to finally find someone I can stick with. So I took my grandmother here to get a massage, hair cut, and hair color. The location is great but wish there were more shops around. My grandmother loved the massage. The people were so nice and I had a great mimosa!! She wasn't going to get her hair color and cut at first but I convinced her to try it out. They did an amazing job and she looked beautiful! We were there practically all day and were kind of hungry. They have a wine bar and lunch menu but we didn't even have to order from that. Most recently, I had the opportunity to get a 60 minute massage for $60, which is a special rate for weekdays running through the end of the year. Julie gave me one of the best massages I have ever had. She really worked on my knots and now the kink in my neck is gone so I can drive safely again. SO: I've been getting my hair cut there for a couple years now, and I even got a few cuts back when they were indeed Salon Gino. MY EXPERIENCE: Suzanne is usually the lady I go to. She's a wonderful lady and does a good job with the cut as well. MOM: My mom goes in to get her hair cut and dyed by whatserface, the lady with the long long white hair (Pam? I can't remember). I don't personally dig the short practically 50's above-the-ear-bob she gets, and she's been getting progressively blonder and I'm not sure the right shade of blonde is picked for my mom's complection, but she's happy enough with it and who knows, maybe I'm the nutso one. PRICE: I've been very happy with the service I've gotten there, even if it is on the pricey side. I routinely get laughed at when I mention how much I've paid for a haircut, but on the other hand, it's in a nice, hygenic-looking place, with decent music and ambience, they validate, and even if they didn't, they're right down the street from la casa familia so hey, it's a short walk. Besides, it's not the $200 haircut some people might get (I'm looking at you, Ryan Howard), so I think I'm not doing too badly. Besides, given how long I go between cuts (not the greatest idea but whatever) it works out. SHAMPOO: I wish I could remember her name but this one time I got this chick who gave me the best shampoo of my life. Oh god. I know it sounds dirty but there you go. It was simply fantastic. MAKEUP: They have Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals stuff there. My sister got married and we had them do our makeup. It was a very nice experience. SPEAKING OF WHICH: My sister had her hair done by Suzanne in this beautiful classy Grace Kelly-esque 'do (I say -esque because her hair was down and Kelly's was usually up, but still - blonde waves, etc). Fabulous job. TO SUM UP: Nice place, pricey, they aren't always perfect so that is why I knock off a star. Suzanne is great, talk to her. 5 stars for Adele 4 stars for overall experience My lovely boyfriend gave me a gift certificate here for a massage, facial and manicure. I scheduled way in advance because they are not open Sundays and the only Saturday I had available was weeks away. I ended up cancelling that appointment and rescheduling for an even later Saturday and the receptionist was very accommodating. I even called the night before my appointment worrying about my facial and was considering doing it at a later date or using it to upgrade a different service and the girl that I spoke to was super helpful (I decided not to move my facial). My appointment was at 11:15 and I was told to arrive 15 minutes early so I arrived at 10:45 (15 minutes earlier than what I was told). I ended up walking around and going to CVS because they didn't actually want me there until 11:15. I came back at 11:15 and still waited until after 10:30 before I was taken. Oh well. My massage and facial were with Adele and she is AWESOME! Fun personality, great massage and really awesome facial. I had never had a facial before but I loved it and want to get them more often now. My manicure was with Chelsea - she did a good job and was fun to talk to. I did have to stand around for a while waiting for my manicure to start and none of the employees asked if I was waiting or anything so I was confused and thought I did something wrong. Maybe there should be a better system for transitioning from one appointment to another. I would probably go here all the time if I lived in the area. read more

We have now gone to Pearl to get a fancy do up and ended up with a $75 nothing style that was pathetic. The curling iron curls was about all that she did and they fell out with in 1 hour of curling. Just yesterday we had Cynthia give my daughter a classic long hair haircut and now she has a very uneven butchered haircut. The hair is cut completely uneven and has no styling what so ever. Given my first facial experience ever, I was given the opportunity to try Entourage spa for a birthday gift from my cousin who also got a facial the same day. As I read most reviews, I could read how wonderful the staff and the quality of work was so I was definitely excited about that. To start it off, 3 stars because my experience was mediocre as I was expecting just a tad bit more. I apologize to Entourage and my esthetician, Adele, who had to wait an extra 20 minutes for my arrival because I merely just got off work at 12:30 and stepped to get to my 1oclock appointment that was ahead booked for me. Then as I got there, this man greeted me abruptly and sighed in a monotonely and just told me to wait here as I was late and he needed to get Adele for me. Sure, I sat down for a quick second and he never came back, but Adele showed up. She was very nice and very sociable, I liked that. As we enter this what I like to call secret dungeon, it was very calm and serene. But not really as I was getting my facial done. Walls are quite thin, so I could hear a lot of things going on outside and music was quite dim as well. On top of that, it was just too bright in the room to be able to fall asleep. Fast forward, it felt quite short and I wished my esthetician explained and calmly took me through a soothing journey into relaxation but it was more questions about my skin care routine and products (sigh) but it's okay I enjoyed hearing how she loved my glowing skin. I was finished, and all of a sudden I heard, "All done." And she left the room. I did enjoy the bonus neck and arm massage given! A lot of things were just all over the place, or maybe it was just me. Too many people walking around confused me as staff to clients. But other than that, try entourage for a good facial, their bar was nice too. read more

I feel really bad giving them a low review, but it is my hopes that the manager reads this and makes appropriate changes so that I can go back. Positives: The salon is really beautiful and nicely set up. There is also a glamorous shower that hits you from the top and sides, soft bathrobes, comfortable seating, and complimentary fruit and ice water. The staff is very nice. Cons: The staff doesn't seem qualified, despite how nice they are. I've had a haircut (and I don't want to mention names because, as said, these people really mean well), and it was a "my girlfriend cut my hair" type of haircut. I wanted to pay less for haircuts and this place charges about 30 dollars less than where I normally go. But I had to go back to my normal hairdresser to get it fixed. So I spent the money for two haircuts. The pedicure person gave me an ingrown toenail and I had to repeatedly interrupt her conversation with the woman doing the pedicure seated next to her to ask her not to be so rough. I got a facial, which gave me a breakout in hives. The main reason I kept going back was for the massage. The last three times it has not been as nice and I've tried two massage therapists there. One did a FAST job: back, arm, arm, leg, leg, flip over, and while she did fast strokes, she told me all about her relationship problems. I repeatedly told her I have trouble listening while getting a massage and prefer no conversation. She apologized each time and then forgot and would start talking again. The other person was much more qualified but on my last visit, she decided to do "energy work," which means that she held my head for a good 10 minutes. I told her I wasn't interested in "energy work" but that I wanted a massage and she said that this would "align my energy" or something and that my body would tell her when to stop. After three songs passed, I told her whether or not my body had communicated with her, this massage was about 2 dollars a minute and I didn't get undressed for her to hold my head. I was pregnant, so the hormones made my tongue a bit sharp. So she stopped the energy work and went on with the massage, which wasn't as good as it was in the past, but maybe that's because I felt pissy over the lost time. She kept me 15 min over to make up for it (which was nice), BUT she did it without checking with me, and because I budgeted my time, I didn't have time to take a quick shower and wash off all the lotion. Had to throw on my clothes to pick up my kid on time from school. Then I got stuck at the cashier because she quoted me ten dollars more even though I told her I checked on the phone for the price and I also checked when I arrived. She replied, "Sorreeeee," and so since I only brought cash with me, I had to stiff my massage therapist a proper tip. And because I was trying to work all this, I got late picking up my kid and had to pay a late pickup fee! The people are nice but I want qualified. I found another massage therapist, I'm keeping with my regular hairstylist, and I'm trying out facial and pedicure places. Wouldn't it be nice, though, if the manager hired some really qualified people to work in that beautiful salon? Just a thought... read more

After going to Entourage for over 10 years, I decided to find a new salon. I discovered that the stylist was over treating my hair by applying hair dye first,washing,then highlights, dryer, then a second washing and dry was ruining my hair. I used a different salon on one of my recent vacations and was told that the process used at Entourage was "old school" and I was lucky that my hair hadn't suffered breakage or fallen out. Given the continuing price increases and the out-dated processes used on my hair, I've switched salons. I also had experiences when they overbook appointments and found myself waiting over 30 minutes for my appointment when the time was confirmed earlier in the week. Service & quality has seriously declines. While prices go up. I found another salon that better appreciates their clients. read more

I've been going to entourage for 5+ years and I don't like leaving negative reviews. The haircut was good and I'm happy with it and that's why I gave the stars. However, the price is RIDICULOUS for the service I got. $95 for a shampoo and cut. Apparently it's a recent price increase... Either way, I was in the salon for no more than 20 minutes, had a normal wash and a very short haircut. My hair isn't hard, it's an easy style and I was out of the chair in probably 10 minutes. What is frustrating about this is that I received such a standard and easy cut for over $100 (after tip) and I know that if I had gotten color (which is an extra service and would also last way longer) the price would have only gone up by $30. That's a small cost difference for a big service difference. My advice is lower your standard cut price -- there's no way I'll ever go there for a haircut at that price and I don't know who else would. But if you're going to have the customer pay top dollar, at least give top dollar customer service. I wasn't offered water or a drink menu or food (I think you have food). I knocked off a star for that. read more

I absolutely loved the atmosphere & my stylist. When I came in, she directed me with options for my hair, and it turned out amazing. The reason I am giving them a 2/5 is because of the front desk customer service. I had originally booked my appointment for an Ombre. I already had an ombre, and wanted it touched up since it had been months. The stylist told me it was still looking good, so all we did was dye the bottom layer of my hair blonde (a VERY small portion of my hair) since that was the only part that had grown out. When I went to check out, I was still charged for an ombre, over 100$ more than a single color dye. The front desk treated me as if I didn't know what I was talking about, and didn't make an effort to understand what I was saying. I ended up paying way more than what I think I should've paid. I don't believe $175 is reasonable to pay for a single color, bottom layer coloring, and to be treated like I didn't know what an ombre was (I HAVE an ombre.) Although I loved my service- I am not a fan of being talked to in that manner, so I will not be returning. read more

All I wanted was a trim on my hair, which she did. Nothing special. Then when I was paying I learned that a TRIM was $60. Are you serious? If your a straight male and expect a good hair cut for men, DO NOT GO HERE! They are way over priced. If you make an appointment and have not been there before you might get a woman with tons of tattoos, STAY AWAY! Went in with long parted business barber cut, that turned into a Justin Beaver after not having had a hair cut all winter, left after tattooed woman sliced and diced and CHOPPED me up making me look like a fo fo. After exploring, and looking for a mid range hair cut place in the Lamoorinda Area, for around the $25-$30 range I was recommended to go here, even-though it was $50; this was a huge mistake! I would highly advise staying clear from Entourage in Orinda Theater Square as you will end up with a $50 hair cut that looks like a $12 hair cut from a blind Asian at a walk-in, specially if you are a male. After only a single day, and a shower, I returned to ask for my money back, and in return Entourage, to save their reputation, had one of their better cutters try and fix the chopped up mess that had been cut from the chopping tattoo lady. After all was said and done, and feeling as if they profiled me as a farmer, I walked away with a sorry attempt for a business like professional hair cut even after showing them pictures on my smart phone of all the hair types I've had. After they comped the fix it job, my cut was better then the CHOPPED up cut from before, but still a fo fo style with no part, and a huge disappointment for the $50 spent. This place is for woman with 3k rings and homos. I am a 28 year old commercial real estate broker, and should have went somewhere else. The only positive of this whole experience is that hair grows back in 4 months. read more

Everyone at Entourage is great. I had a color problem recently and Gino was very accomodating to make sure it was corrected. Dante's color and cuts are always perfect and I had a fantastic massage with Casey. Highly recommended and I think the prices are reasonable. They even have a great Turkey Panini. The hairdresser pretty much took my bob and turned it into a wedge with wings on the side that flipped up. since i have thin, fine hair i do not have the body for this kind of cut and i was very specific about what i was after. My girlfriend and I decided to have a pedi at Entourage, not my first choice but my friend couldn't go far being her son was getting out of school early that day. Anyway we arrived to the salon to checked in, we were then greeted by a lovely young lady who led us to our pedicures. Pros: The lovely lady who did my girlfriends pedi was fun, talkative, personable, and gave my friend a fantastic pedicure. She took her time offered us a drink and cleaned the pedi bowl with a scrubber and everything right in front of us. Cons: The girl that did my pedi did a poor job, polish was all over my cuticles, she didn't talk and worst of all she never scrubbed the pedi bowl just filled it with water and let it run, WTF!!!!! I'm soo nervous right now because I'm afraid theres some crazy bacteria growing on my feet as we speak! I would suggest if anyone going to this salon beware of the pedi stations unless you get the girl with blonde hair and please forgive me but VERY large bust. She was the best, but most of all sanitary. I give the 1 star to her but wouldn't give any if it wasn't for her. However I wont be going back!
