A very cool restaurant concept! The two of us walked over from our hotel without a reservation and were seated by one of the walls of wine. You are able to pick bottles from the walls or the refrigerator to consume during your dinner and there must be over 100 different wines to choose from. Our server was very informative and went over their concept with us. It was a bit overwhelming at first but we settled on a chilled rose that paired well with the seafood we were having. We shared a few appetizers, including the octopus, calamari and ceviche- all of which were phenomenal. The octopus was extremely soft and tender, the ceviche with tostones were a great pairing and the calamari was awesome. Our bottle was chilled beside us the whole time and our server made sure our glasses were never empty for more than a minute. read more

Very classy establishment and good food! We couldn't get into some of the restaurants we wanted due to the wait being long, so entrevinos was a last resort. However coming here ended up working out. This place serves Italian food and wine by the bottle or glass. Our server was a bit weird, he only explained that we could choose a bottle on the wall to purchase but he never offered us a glass to purchase for our meal. When my friend asked for a glass of rose he told her he didn't have rose, yet we saw countless bottles around us...so weird! Customer service isn't the best here, they definitely could use some improvement, and the place is ICE COLD so bring a jacket. The food was good however, I had chicken parm and a brownie for dessert. The food was some of the best I've had anywhere. We started with the pesto gnocchi. The gnocchi was handmade and was cooked to perfection. The pesto sauce was freshly made with a great flavor profile. I had the branzino filet and it did not disappoint. The caper butter added just the right tanginess to go with the sweet tasting fish. My wife had the salad which she said was very fresh. We hated a bottle of wine they recommended and it paired great with our meal. The service was top notch and the pricing much more reasonable than some of the higher priced places we ate at while in PR. I wished we would have ate here a couple more times while on vacation. This place is wonderful and is a very good restaurant with an extensive wine selection. We came here based on a family friend who said this is their favorite restaurant on the island and we now see why. All the appetizers, entrees, and deserts were great, with the Beef Carpaccio, Short Rib Pasta, Chicken Marsala, Seared Salmon and Hot Brownie being standouts. We loved it so much we made a reservation for a second visit during our first visit, as it was much better than other places we tried that were at the top of "best of Puerto Rico" lists. We also requested that Maya be our waitress, as she was so personable, knowledgeable of the menu, and honest about recommendations on our first visit. What more can I say than this is a must try! The food was just so bad. So, so bad. I ordered mushroom risotto with petite filet mignon and it looked like a bowl of greasy porridge. The risotto was so completely soupy. And greasy. It was an edible. My husband had the Bronzino with lemon caper butter sauce, which came with the side of vegetables. they did not even bother to wash or peel the carrot on his plate. It was disgusting. The fish was bone dry and over salted. The calamari starter was greasy and tough. And our server was surly. I'm only giving them two stars because their wine selection what was incredible. The Burger King next-door would've been a better choice. read more

Stumbled across this place on a Friday evening because we were hungry and wanted to try something in the area. This place looks really nice from the outside and the inside. Mind you the prices are a little bit more expensive. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer. It tasted good, and the the food was still hot when served at our table. We then ordered garlic shrimp which we were able to split between 2 . This was also delicious! The shrimps and portions were much larger than expected. The interesting part is that you can chose the type of wine you'd like to drink from the wall. ThEy don't really have a wine menu. But other than that, you walk around and all the wines they offer are against the wall. You just pick one and let your server know which one you'd like. Overall, it was a nice experience. Wife and I are paying the check right now. This was the best meal on our 10-day trip. Family of 5 with three kids ages 5-10. We picked this restaurant because we had been eating seafood all vacation and wanted something different. To start, we ordered four apps (frog legs, beef carpaccio, mussels, charcuterie) and the arugula pear salad. All of the those were amazing - either at or near the best we've ever had. All the portions were decently sized. Adults especially loved the carpaccio and salad. Kids loved the frog legs (their first time trying, you get five pairs of legs per order). My wife described the food as "inspired." Never heard her talk like that before. Since we had so many apps, we split two mains (the 22oz NY strip and the 16oz veal chop). Both were awesome, but the veal chop took the cake. Another cool thing about this restaurant is the wine experience. When we arrived we saw wine bottles everywhere, but the menu didn't have a wine section. So we asked our server and she told us that she would take us on a "tour" to pick a wine that met our needs. I watched the kids while our server walked my wife around the store and helped her find a great Tempranillo for under $50. For dessert, the family shared the white chocolate creme brûlée and the key lime pie. Both were out of this world. We don't usually like white chocolate, but that crème brûlée... and we've tried key lime pie all over the tropics; this one has few add-in's (meringue, etc) but it was so fresh and all the flavors just blended together... Great upscale restaurant in the Isla Verde area. Excellent concept with wines from all over the world. If you can't find something you like or are overwhelmed, the extremely knowledgeable manager will make suggestions for you to select. We order the escargot appetizer and it was very flavorful. For our main entrees we ordered the New York Prime Beef with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables and the Petite Filet Risotto. All were cooked to perfection and very well seasoned. We finished off the night with the bread pudding and brownie for dessert. Both were excellent. The portions were large and a couple could easily share an entree or dessert if they wish. It was very busy the evening we went but the waiter was very friendly and the manager was out making wine recommendations and even bussing tables. This is one of the classier restaurants in the isla verde area not located in a hotel. After only two years open, they've already gotten a good reputation for upscale dining. We came over earlier in the day to check out the menu and make a reservation. As mentioned, it's in a corner of the center with church's chicken and Burger King plus a bunch of other local places. It sits in its own building. You come into the parking lot (take a ticket; validation covers one hour) and then there is valet parking in front of the restaurant. And yes, it's a wine "store" as well. Around the edges of the room are rows and rows of wine bottles. They are grouped by price. If you don't want a bottle, you can order a glass for $10. But they only have 2 different ones by the glass -- one red, a Pinot noir, and one white, a Chardonnay. The menu is large. As are the portions. The starters/appetizer are especially large and more than big enough to share. They have raw bar selections, salads, soups, calamari, mussels, and a charcuterie plate. There's even a turkey sandwich and beef sliders, if that's al you want. Entrees go from a grilled chicken at $19 to a 40 ounce cowboy steak at $94! Most people share entrees as well. We started with their Caesar salad. A huge bowl lightly dressed with croutons and grated cheese. Followed that with their medium sized steamed clams that had lots of garlic and bread. For an entree we shared their 16 ounce churrasco steak that came with chimichurri sauce. Along with vegetables of the day (broccoli, asparagus, corn on the cob), we had the choice of fries, mashed, or rice of the day (today with red beans). We chose mashed. After the huge salad and large portion of clams, the steak was perfect. So glad we decided to share. By the time we left, most every seat was taken. Reservations are recommended -- you'll get a better seat, too. They have a glass enclosed wine room for a big table (it was full) and in the back another group room. So it did get a bit loud at one point -- hey, they are drinking wine -- from one of the groups. The food was definitely worth the four stars. You'll probably want to dress up a bit for this place, but we did see folks in shorts and sandals too. All in all a lovely way to have a romantic dinner. read more

The spot we originally wanted to go to for brunch was packed and there was a waiting list and we were on a time crunch . We stumbled upon this restaurant and if I could give it 10 stars I would. The place itself is really clean and they take Covid very seriously. We were a party of 5 and ordered various things off the menu. The food came out hot , fresh and fast. Everything on the menu was simply amazing not one thing was bad . I wish that we had more time to enjoy our food but we were in a rush because we had reservations for a water sport across the street at the beach. Entrevinos is an upscale restaurant (they even offer valet parking) in Isle Verde. One of the managers suggested for us to try the soft shell crab dish. So glad we did because it was excellent! The sauce was amazing and the watermelon paired up nicely. The croquettes were good and the rib-eye was awesome with the mushrooms. It was our first time in Puerto Rico and my husband and I both agreed that the best food we had was at Entrevinos. Highly recommend if you're looking for some good food in aisle Verde. read more

So, you have your menu, a bunch of options, and then you have your wine, even more options, the twist is...you pick your own bottle, and...of course...you don't get to taste it. It does seem like an adventure, but I want to make sure I enjoy my wine. So, we ordered food, shared the Churrasco, which was decadent, and insisted our server recommend a red wine. We ended up with a Meiomi ($39) and it was delicious, very happy with the suggestion. We started with a French Onion Soup, and ended up with the Banana Nut Pudding. First time visiting the island and we decided to eat here since Alambique had a 2 hour wait. First the positives. The restaurant is very nice and comfortable on the inside. It was very close the hotel we were staying. They have a great wine selection and decent choice of beers. The soup and fish was good and the Mongolian pork was very delicious. The waiter was nice and offered nice good suggestions. Now for the negatives. For some reason many restaurants believe upscale/dining equates to small portions. The crab tempura was a joke for the price vs. portion size. I would definitely not recommend it to anyone. Not sure why it's even on the menu at the current price. No real vegan option but they accommodated by grouping the veggies the side dishes for me. The brussel sprouts were excellent, the buratta salad was really delicious also. The bottles of wine range from 30-99, you choose your bottle and it will be served for you at your table. The staff is exceptionally friendly and kind.
