I called in to ask if they could put on new bindings for me. They said yes and told me it would be ~$20. I came in and Parker and Jack helped me with my new set up. I made my way up the mountain and it was rough. My left binding was too far forward and I wiped out a lot. I left Crystal and stopped in again and Jack was very apologetic and reset them for free. I went again yesterday and it was perfect! Thank you guys for the help! read more

Do NOT use this place to mount your skis. I had a brand new pair of skis that I wanted mounted at true center. Showed the tech where I wanted them mounted. Picked up the skis and they were mounted around 3 inches back. Now I have to get them re-drilled which also kills the resale value. Shoulda just done it myself. On top of that, they refused to offer any sort of refund. Rude and incompetent shop, avoid if you can. read more

The wheel I ordered for my son's bike arrived on-time and the crew installed it quickly. The two stars is because the owner harassed my wife for wearing a mask then went on a tirade sharing his political beliefs. Everyone is free to have their own opinion but as a business owner you might want to consider your customers have a different point of view. I'll be taking my money elsewhere from now on. read more

I used to come here regularly for rentals prior to hitting Crystal, but I won't be returning. Really shameful that the two bros in the shop weren't wearing masks, especially since they had an elderly customer. Not only does wearing a mask keep you and your customers healthy, it also keeps your business open. Definitely reporting these guys for covid violations. read more

The employees are NOT wearing masks. Not even around their necks. A blatant disregard for the care and concern of their customers and the population at large. I am especially angered due to the fact that the COVID infection rate in Enumclaw in particular is so high. I would recommend that you rent your sportswear from a different store! read more

Really nice and helpful staff. Unfortunately, none of them are wearing masks. When we asked why not, they had no answer. They don't seem to care that they are violating state and county law, putting their customers at risk, and risking an outbreak that would shut Crystal for the season. Never again. I've stopped here many times to pick up gear for the mountain. Today when I went in both sales people were not wearing masks in violation of the statewide mask mandate indoors and outdoors in all public places. There were other customers in the store wearing masks. I do not patronize businesses that do not value my health. Also if they're not wearing masks in the business, I certainly don't trust their activities outside of work. This place is a vector of disease and dangerous to public health. I will take my money elsewhere, forever. Too bad because my intent was to support a local small business during these difficult COVID times but now they are off my list to support ever. Another lost patron entered the store at the same time as me, in his mask, and did the same about face that I did when he realized the sales people were out of compliance as well. read more

They know nothing about bikes....or skis for that matter. I primarily ride mountain but also ride road. I also race. They have been high every time I went in to give the place a chance or out of desperation. On all occasions, they were unable to help....simple stuff. :-/ If you have a bike need, I found the people at Bike Masters in Maple Valley to be super knowledgeable. read more

Really disappointed in this shop. We came in over the weekend and dropped off three snowboards for them to be waxed. There were 4-5 employees in the store and we were the only customers. We asked for the wax and the woman said the guy in the back can do it. He replied back saying "I can't right now" although it looked like everyone was standing around chatting. He told us they would be ready Wednesday and they would call us to let us know. We never received a call so we called on Wednesday and they said they have been ready for a while. When we go to pick them up the wax job was horrible! I would definitely not recommend this place, the employee don't seem to care much at all. read more

Awesome local ski shop. I actually live in Denver, but whenever I am in the Seattle area (usually skiing crystal) this is my go-to place. They have GREAT service- dropped skis off to be mounted yesterday and got them back 12 hrs later! The prices are really reasonable and it's got that small town vibe. We stopped in to rent ski & snowboard gear for my 5 year old's first go. All the staff were super friendly, attentive as can be, and geared us up quickly. Only thing they couldn't help us out with was a kid's helmet for the slopes. We'll definitely stop here again next time up! read more

This store has the epitomy of the welcoming and friendly vibe that you envision when pulling into a smaller town mountain bike and ski store. I rented a great 27.5 plus full suspension mountain bike, but not before spending a half-hour with the employees scoping out the trails that I should hit, where to park, and some advice on other cool attractions! If I remember correctly the managers name was Vanessa, and she went out of her way to make sure I was informed and happy with my rental, even printed out a couple of maps for me. Stopped in there today because my skewer lever fell off while riding the previous evening. They don't carry the skewer I need for my fork, but the service guy dug through some used parts, pulled one off of another fork, sold it to me for a very reasonable price, and saved my day of biking! I highly recommend this place as a bike shop. I had a nice road bike that needed to be shipped across the country. They did an excellent job packing the bike in a box and getting it to me in perfect condition. They really treated the bike with TCL and protected all the possible ways it could be damaged in shipping. Accessories were removed and in a separate box. This made it easier for them to carefully wrap each of the tubes with protective cardboard. Unpacking the box, I could tell they really cared. Thanks! read more

The bike tech "tuned" my bike and screwed it up. I was out on the trails and bike rear hub froze up. Took it back to repair and the tech blamed me and did not stand by his work. I had to go to Maple Valley and actually buy a new wheel. I will not go back, he was rude and argumentative. Edit: The Mechanic who screwed up my bike no longer works there. There is a more competent and helpful person behind the counter now. I trust my bike to this shop now. The manager has been very genuine in earning my business back. Thank you. read more

Just over a week ago I rented ski's from here to have a wonderful day up at Crystal Mountain. Around noon I was skiing down the Queens run (A Beginner run) and I took a spill. Not sure if the binding failing caused it. As I retrieved my ski's I saw both binding were broken and had failed. I have been skiing for over 20 years and my partner has been skiing for over 35 years and have never seen anything like this. I limped it down the mountain and this ended my great day. When I returned them they asked a few questions and said someone would call me the next day. That never happened so I thought that was it and luckily I was not hurt. Then ten days later I receive a rude message from Vanessa accusing me of neglect and letting me know I would be charged for repairs without even telling me how much. I believe the bindings were improperly installed or fitted. When I contacted them The owner Joe Webber made the call to not help and to charge me anyway even with the insurance checked without talking to me to the tune of hundreds and hundreds of dollars. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE FOR YOUR SAFETY! I had just bought over $500 in clothing for my wife here two weeks earlier and this is how you will be treated. POOR CUSTOMER CARE AND MAJOR SAFETY CONCERNS.
