Even if you are not deep into disc golf, it feels like the kind of shop where you can get pointed in the right direction without being made to feel clueless, which is a real skill. Great place to get your disc fix! I'm from out of town and checked out their website. It said they had a clear Kastaplast K1 Falk. I called to confirm. Yes, they do. He described it for me as having a pink foil. Score! I put in the order and they are going to mail it to me. Very reasonable at $4 shipping. I got an idea that they might be getting the Kastaplast Järn, HIGHLY sought after and hard to find in the states at the time of this writing. Called everyday I was here in Seattle. The day I call later in the day is the day they got a shipment of them. They still had a few left. I got a pink one! Hard to find. Then he tells me it is actually a translucent pink. Score! Even better. Talking to them on the phone, they are so chill and helpful. Would love to step into their brick and mortar. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. I love the vibe of this store. As a beginner disc golfer it can be intimidating with the millions of discs. Everyone was super helpful and they let me putt all my discs in the store. All the latest drivers, mid-range discs, putters, bags and everything a serious or recreational player could use or need. My wife and I stopped in here for the first time last week. My wife played back in college but I have never played disc golf so we had a lot of questions. The man (Tom) was very friendly and answered all of our questions. He guided both of us through choosing a 3-disc starter set tailored to each of us. He even gave us some technique hints and tips to help us get started. The store was well stocked with a huge variety of discs and a good selection of bags and accessories. I liked that they had a basket set up at the back of the store so that we could try tossing some of the discs to get a feel for them. The only real downside was the parking situation, but we still had a great experience here. We'll definitely be coming back! read more

They were very helpful and knowledgeable in helping me chose discs. Their store regularly gets shipments of fresh releases and fairly rare discs. The only reason i am giving 1 star at all is because they do have a good selection of disc golf supplies. BUT.... As far as the customer service is concerned, this place is HORRID! The lady working there started preaching to us about god, and told us that if we didn't believe in him, then we would never be happy, lost, in debt, and never own a house! REALLY?!?! I've supported this shop with my business and always been respectful, but she blattently disrespected my family members in there when we told her we didn't want to hear any more banter on her religion, but she kept saying "you need to find god, without him you are lost." No respect for other people's boundaries, beliefs, or life experiences. We drove all the way from Olympia just to come to this shop and we were greeted by a pushy religious whack-o. I was offended after she belittled my brother for not being religious and I asked to return my purchase(bought 3 min prior), of course she refused. I support disc golf, not selfish view points pushed on other people. This shop will no longer get business from me or any of my friends/family. Spread the word. We don't need to be condescended or belittled just because we don't have the same religion as you when we shop for our recreational goods. This place is so cool! Very friendly, laid back and fun atmosphere. Would recommend coming here if you want to actually try discs out before you just order something off line that you've never held or played with before, as you can test throw the disc right inside the shop! So i have been to the shop 3 times now-and the third was not a charm. I throw specific plastics, hard to find "wall-plastic". I normally do all my disc shopping online so i dont have to deal with peoples B.S. my last visit at mandos reaffirmed why thats the case. The condensed version on events was this: i find many of a certain disc i like online. they go for $23. I figured id be cool and support a local small business and shop there. I called and talked to the owner(tom i think his name is of something). He told me they had it, but it would be $25. Since it was close to the course i was to play i figured what the hell, ill pay the extra $2 and get it earlier. I go in. His wife is there. She has it, but for $35!!! He made shure not to be present so he wouldn't have to face the shame. I was angry, but understood i obviously wasn't dealing with a man of his word. I paid the ridiculous because i left my other disc that i would throw in its place at home. I just put in a $86 order rite before i posted this review; there loss. To all who havent been-DONT.!
