I am doing a series of PRP for hair growth. If you are loosing hair or badly thinning, DO THIS TREATMENT! It is THE ONLY treatment that has given me any significant results. Lisa, their RN, does the treatment and even after only one treatment, I started seeing new growth. I am doing the treatment once a month, for 5 months, then only need to maintain with once every six months. Used minoxidil, (VERY BADLY dried my hair with little results, and now more than my ends are all breaking off.) Sad face....Used a laser head band...minimum results. Tried vitamins, shampoos etc., nothing really works well except PRP!! Ladies, (and gentlemen!) DO NOT WAIT to do this. As soon as you see some thinning, get in for your treatment. After receiving a free consultation and 500$ off a treatment, I went in for a consultation where I was talked into laser hair removal full leg because the service I signed up to receive wasn't an option. Going to my first appointment I was shamed into adding another area by the technician who had the consultant come into the room during my treatment to have me sign the paperwork for the added service. I went to envy skin clinical for over 2 years with some hair reduction but not permanent as they claim. I missed an appointment they called immediately to let me know there's a $25 charge for a missing appointments and not calling with a 24 hour advance notify them that you're be unable to make the appointment. I have an my underarm done at another clinic with outstanding results. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone if I could give zero stars I would. read more

IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE !!!! Came in for my hyper hydrosis and I can't explain to you the level of kindness this office has. I was a bit nervous about going in. But wow it all went away when I met LISA! She is so warm kind and genuine - any fear or concerns I had melted away. She a beautiful way with conversation, had some good banter, and truly then all of a sudden it was like what?! We're done?! Just breathed through it all and whether my nerves came out as giggles or WHOA WHOA WHOA what is that she was so knowledgeable and sweet. I run a Spa in California and chose this buisness after a great conversation with them by phone. Their atmosphere was perfectly calming and we'll appointed. The Medical Esthetician I worked with was also an LPN (a plus!) and she knew her stuff. I had the Obagi Blue Peel and the result seems good so far (I'm ppeeling right now). I can't believe the reviews Envy has gotten about "pushy" professional recomendations for services and products. Can't people just say "no thanks"? After all it's the licensed professional's job to offer and educate the guest about what's their best homecare and service protocol for the desired results. P.S. This review is purely on the Sales end of Envy. I made an appointment here because I won a $450 gift certificate for services. I arrived to my appointment a half hour early (took way less time to commute than expected) and the receptionist insisted it was no problem and they could fit me in right away. I filled out my paperwork in about 5 minutes and ended up waiting, even past my scheduled appointment. All the while I was waiting a couple employees were chit-chatting about their personal training and diets. Annoyed already. 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment I was taken into a room with a sales gal and given the rundown of services. What a surprise, my gift certificate had to be used on packages of $700 or more, and could not be used on discounted services. So, because the current discount was more than the gift certificate, it would've been silly to use it. That is how they get you in the door. After running some numbers on services and pushing their payment plan on me, I told them that if I had any services, I would pay in full. Then they perked up and noted an extra discount if paid in full, prior to services being rendered. And they could fit me in right away for my first appointment. How Convenient. If you are sucker to up-selling, don't even bother coming here unless you are prepared to spend big bucks. I left with a list of prices and a quote good through the end of the month. I have received phone calls since, but simply ignore them as I believe the prices,even after discount, are still too high ($600 for a facial peel, $1500 for underarm hair removal). Now, all that being said, I think that if you had the money and wanted the services, it would be an OK place to go. Their sales' people are pushy and don't tell you the whole truth....results were "none", pretty much just wasted my money. I called Envy to ask if there were any lasers developed that could handle permanently removing blonde hair and they said there were and they owned them. I cautiously went in for a consultation and they said they had the latest in technology and because I had course hair, their lasers could definitely remove my blonde hair. I purchased a package for approximately $1,650, which included 6 session plus a year of follow up. They sold the year of follow up as more of a maintenance if you need it additional bonus to the six sessions. I have had a total of 8 sessions now and not had any results whatsoever from the time and money spent. When I contacted them saying I had no results, they said that I would have to have the full 18 sessions to possibly see results but that they stood by their sales pitch because there is a blonde setting on their machine. Since then I have come to find out that there isn't any technology that can truly handle blonde hair and that it could take lasers up to 5 years to see any results! As that professional told me - if lasers really could handle blonde hair, why would there still be clinics in business that only offer electrolosys? So if there are other blondes out there, do not believe the high pressure lies that Envy will tell you in order to get your business. They will sell anything, not deliver, and not refuld the amount you spent for ultimately no results! read more

Kate K. is THEE best esthetician I have encountered, (I've been to over a dozen) and I'll tell ya why. She's honest (a must), she's confident with her advice for me, and the love she has for her job shows. I hadn't planned on continuing to buy any further treatments or products from Envy, but decided to give the clinic another chance before I decided, and Kate struck something in my gut that made me feel very at ease, and trustful. I thought, "have a finally met an aesthetician I want to stick with?" She told me once during a session how she loves what she does, but I already knew. It shows in the excitement about her work. She only wants to do a great job and do right by her clients. And why not? It reflects on her and the clinic. She calms me when she takes her time to give me the best results from my service, and she doesn't make me feel like she's racing through a day of scheduled appts. It would be no different than your physician spending a short 15 minutes with you and making you feel like they have to move onto the next patient. She doesn't do that. Thank God! She also deters from treatments she doesn't think are the best for me, (my wallet and resources thank her), but instead guides me and suggests the best direction for my skin and explains why so well. Total transparency, no phoniness. I feel a lot better about spending my money this way, and she understands that. Her excitement shows, and it makes me feel at ease knowing she has MY best interests, and finances, in mind. She's always smiling and has a positive attitude. I look forward to relaxing on the table each session. And the best part is, she's down to earth, real, and quite frankly, beautiful. She has great skin, so she must know a thing or two. Nobody goes to a hair dresser who is unfriendly, unwelcoming, and has ugly hair, right? This is a review of her, not necessarily the clinic itself. Of the many estheticians I mentioned I've been to, over half have been at Envy, and Kate is only one of two or three I would come back for, and the others don't work work there anymore. Run! I've never written a review on anything, but this is a con and a scam and I don't want this to happen to anyone else. I purchased a laser hair removal package. Which by the way is around the $2000 mark. Being so expensive, I was a bit wary about it but was assured that I would be hairfree. That is not true. First off, they would cancel my appointments several times for different reasons, one day it was the lasers being out of service, another time there was no power in the building, and 3 times it was because their phone system or the computers were down. Now once or twice is no big deal but you only go there every 6 weeks at most, how on earth is your equipment down this often?! Another time I went for the appointment and the laser kept shorting out every few seconds. But that counted as one of my treatments. My last appointment was a consultation toser where I was at, as I stilll had a lot of hair growth. They assured me that this is very common (very different from what I was told when I signed up for this service), but being as after a year and a half of treatments with only 20% actually gone, they would extend my treatments. However when I called to set up an appointment, there was absolutely nO record of my consultation and that if I wished I could purchase another package for a discount of $700. She also said many people have to purchase additional packages to achieve results, (again, VERY different from why I was told when purchasing this package)! Sure the place seems clean and people are friendly, but I've never seen a business ran so terribly. And how do you not keep records of your consultations?! I "won" a $400 gift certificate from attending the Wedding Fair this January and when I spoke with the receptionist over the phone she said that I would receive an additional $100 off when booking. Finding Envy was challenging, it's in a bank building near the EP mall but you would have no clue because their website does not say it. I went for my consultation and was shocked at the prices. To have laser hair removal on the lip area was $750, full legs cost $2000, and a package of 6 (I believe) microdermabrasion was around $700. So even though I was offered $500 for services I would still have to pay at least $250 plus tax and gratuity. I felt very pressured by the technician to book for an appointment that day (she repeatedly mentioned I would lose $100 if I did not book then). Because I had not planned to spend money on laser hair removal I walked out. So basically I felt like I had been scammed with this offer. I'm curious as to how many others won the gift certificate as well. Oh, and later I visited Sedona Skin Spa in Edina using a Living Social deal and when I told them my experience at Envy they were shocked. I have been going to skin envy for many years. The services I have received here have truly transformed my skin. I have done everything from a basic micro dermabrasion, to BBL treatments, to their new Venus Viva laser. I have also done their Mira dry treatment and Botox. During my second pregnancy I developed malasma pretty bad on my face. Mark and Amy went above and beyond to talk to their product reps and get me products that were safe to use during my pregnancy and helped me reverse the malasma after having my baby. They are extremely knowledgeable and are able to tailor fit a skin care plan to each individual. The atmosphere at the clinic is warm, relaxing and inviting. Their laser technicians technicians do everything they can to make you feel comfortable during your treatments and answer any questions you may have. They follow up with you in the days after your treatments to make sure that you are happy with your results and that everything is healing the way it should. I highly recommend this clinic as they have been so instrumental in me being able to have the youthful looking skin I have!! I don't know what I would do without them! read more

I was hesitant to post this review while I was still a customer, in fear that they would treat me even worse... so I waited. I purchased a package of 3 laser hair removal sessions on Groupon for my legs which I was very excited about. At my consultation they were nice, but it felt like they were giving me a sales pitch to have me upgrade. They told me it would take 8-10 treatments for the hair to be fully gone. I told them I was going to wait to see how my skin/hair reacted to the treatments before making a decision. The next time I went in, they told me it would take 12-15 treatments to fully remove the hair. Each time I went in, that number seemed to go up. During each treatment it got worse and worse. the technicians seemed very fake, and the entire time they tried to sell me on buying more. They made me feel guilty for buying a groupon, and made me feel as if they were doing me some incredible favor by giving me 3 treatments at a low price. They made me feel like I owed them something. During my last treatment, the technician pointed out hair on my butt, and asked if I had ever considered getting treatment there. That made me feel extremely insecure, and is a terrible way to try and upsell. It seemed like a last ditch effort to get me to buy the full package. When leaving I tried to hold back the tears because of how they made me feel. My mom and sister had gotten laser hair removal at Proskin in Bloomington and raved about the experience. I decided to go there to get more treatments on my legs, and the experience has been SO much better. The technicians and front desk ladies are so friendly, the prices are better, and I also think the lasers are more effective. If envy skin clinic wants to stay in business, I suggest they get an attitude adjustment and lower their prices. I think their prices are so high because they are trying to compensate for not having as much business as their competitors. Service based companies really rely on word of mouth to grow their customer base. My experience at proskin has been so great, that I naturally talk about it to my friends. I can only imagine how many potential customers Envy has lost purely to so many people having a bad experience (which can be seen on the other groupon reviews). I went after seeing the results on my wife. I am 51 and see a lot of sun on my face, with a lot of dark spots and red around my nose and forehead. I walked in after winning a raffle for a discount and after being promised that I would never need to shave again, I decided to give it a shot. Almost two years and $3,000 later, few results show. It took over a year for one of my specialists to tell me that "they shouldn't have had you get all of these areas done. It doesn't work on blonde hair." That would have been nice to know during the consultation, but the hastened lady didn't even look before giving me her word that it is worth it. Brace yourself for the ambush salesy upsell at your "consultation" from the gum chewing, disinterested, ignorant sales people. I have to agree with everything Jada said. I actually waited some time to write this review because I feared retaliation while I was still a customer (after being pressured into a long-term commitment "upsell" at initial consultation). The actual techs were fine. I did have some results with the laser hair removal after many sessions but the vibe and demeanor of the staff is not worth it. Not to mention I was chastised by one of the staff after missing one appointment due to being sick (after 2 years; I did call but apparently less than within 24 hours). Not to mention I was guaranteed "permanent results" and I will definitely need to go in for redo treatments soon. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Isn't it enough that my ancestors were tough Anglo broads who were hairy as a wooly mammoth? Be aware of Envy Skin Clinic's sales practices, don't sign anything or better yet...stay away. Envy Skin Clinic markets their business at Bridal shows, Home, Boat, and other Trade shows and reels people in by having you sign-up for a drawing. They seduced me to come in for a consultation by offering a $400 gift certificate if I met with them within the week. Here's my experience: At the consultation, they provided a run-down of their services and presented an $8,000 cost minus the $400-600 in discounts for services. They then asked me when I wanted my first appointment. When I told them it is was too much money, that I was going to shop around and I was just on a fact finding mission to get information, and think about which services I really wanted as I had no intention of purchasing the complete package, they presented a financial financing option (with Chase Health Advance whom they partner). They told me the interest rate was 0%. However, I learned later, it's really 13.99%. Upon telling them that I was leaving without purchasing, they gave it one last effort. They presented me with a 'form' that showed their complete package of services and told me that to ensure the discounts, I would need to sign the 'form' that evening to hold the discounts while I made my decision. Unfortunately, I signed the form. Upon a follow-up call the next day to decline the free gift certificate from the drawing, I was told that 'form' was actually a $7000 contract with a 15% non-refundable penalty! Never was I advised the 'form' was a contract nor that the 'form' came with terms - a 15% non-refundable penalty. There was no transparency or honesty in representation of the contract or its terms. I received no satisfaction working with the Manager. I was given an option to take less services, but there would not be a full refund in any circumstance. With broken trust, there was NO WAY I would go forward with any services from this outfit. Upon repeated inquiries, there has been no satisfaction for a full refund. I live 10 minutes from Hudson,WI and I work, so I needed to take a day off to schedule this on a day that I could drive all the way across the cities. I called to make the appt and the receptionist told me that they needed to do a consultation first. "um, okay, since I have the whole day off, can we do the consult, then immediately do the procedure since I am not going to drive 1.5 hours round trip TWICE to get ONE 20 minute procedure done". She wasn't sure if she could schedule me like that, so she had to go check. Nope, no can do, she tells me. This, after I have explained that I live 45 mins away and cannot take TWO days off of work to have ONE 20 minute procedure done. I will be returning the Groupon :( read more

I get treatments from Envy Skin Clinic and love the staff & find the treatments to be very helpful. I get a warm welcome and the staff offer me water & even a blanket because they know I get cold easily and they have to keep the machines at the correct temperature. I go to Envy Skin Clinic for laser hair removal. I bought two vouchers online for 3 treatments each. When I arrived, I learned I could not use them on the same area, which I had anticipated. They informed me I could buy an additional package of 3 treatments for the same price I had paid online, which was a great deal. Of course this meant paying out of pocket (I was given a pretty generous discount) for the additional treatments on each area (typically about 6 treatments are required, but if you buy the package you get a guarantee in case you need more). They are great at upselling, which many people don't like, but as someone who has worked a job that requires upselling, I understand this is how they make money. I have never had to wait more than ten minutes past my scheduled appointment. As someone who is not very punctual, this is not a problem for me. The staff is courteous and professional, and they make me feel comfortable during the treatments, depsite them being slightly painful and invasive. The treatment is quick enough that I am able to get all three areas treated during my one hour lunch break. As long as you're making your next appointment in advance, they are pretty flexible, but sometimes it's tough to reschedule on short notice due to appointments being booked out so far in advance. Overall, I'm very happy with the services I've received at Envy Skin Clinic and the investment I made. I would (and have) reccomend them to anyone exploring laser hair removal. read more

My friend and I came for botox injection . This is my 3rd experience with botox-the worst one. I got 2 huge bruises around my eyes ( never happened before!),my left eye on a side has a pretty nasty yellowish - greyish shadow now (5 days later),that so far I can only cover with makeup and a shadow(half of it).Not to mention, that I still see no results.Normaly, by this time you can tell the difference,even after 2 days . The nurse never used ice (I didn't ask why,but my friend did-she told her it's wrong). My friend did the forehead and ended up with 6 very noticeable bumps -still there , 5 days after. I "won" a $500 gift certificate and a facial. First time I went in they gave me a price quote to what was "wrong" with my face. But, couldn't use my gift certificate bc their promotion was better and I couldn't use it on any specials. So, I scheduled my facial thinking at least I won a facial....got a babysitter and treated myself to a personal day. But, they quickly made my personal day into about another sales pitch. Once on the table the lady told me to sit under the steam under a plastic medical sheet. The steamer was burning my face and I had to continuously move my face around to keep from getting scalded with the steam. Once someone entered the room my face was DRIPPING wet and burning my eyes. She was in the room for 10 mins and cleansed my face for the facial but the majority of the time it was her talking about which medical procedure to get which was different from my initial consult a few weeks prior. Then!!! She tells me she is moving and her regular clients want her so another woman will be in shortly! This happens and this woman literally cleansed my face, did two tiny extractions and then a mask with a hot towel all consisting of ten minutes tops!!! No massage, no hand massage NOTHING RELAXING about it! Just a plastic garb and her chatting my ear off about what I should do with my face...which was TOTALLY different than the previous woman! I would have received a better facial at a beauty school! Then, it's over and she has me meet with her manager in another one of their "consultation" rooms where she will get me my "best deal." The manager then tells me that she wouldn't do what they said bc It wouldn't be good due to another ailment with my skin! So, after many price deductions she got it down to $390 for 3 BBL's and $1000 for 3 skin peels. She said, "that's a really good deal considering your original package was $4400!" Well, that is a good deal. But, it's a good thing I'm not a dummy. I was on my phone looking at Groupon while she is saying this and there is a deal from another clinic for $289 for 3 BBL's...and I don't have to fight to get a good deal there...hmmmm. Enjoy the $20 tip..only $ I'm giving them. And it was very hard to even tip her. I didn't want any karma coming back my way! They want their money which is understandable but feeling like I'm in a time share scan is beyond annoying...they wasted my time, money with a babysitter, and my trust when no one said the same treatment once! I would be scared to have them treat my face...and I'm 32. Would hate to see what they would do if you were in your 40's or 50's! Go somewhere you can trust and has a set price for everyone.
