Garlic knots
Jennifer M.

I'm really enjoying Enzo's! They get a 5 from me for outstanding salads, garlic knots, and marinara. It's safe to say I'm addicted to the marinara. Yes, it's chunky (like me haha). I have not tried their pizza just yet, but did try the Stromboli, which was ok - a little doughy for my taste. The garlic knots are just the right size and absolutely delicious. The small salad is more than enough and the ingredients are very fresh! I'm looking forward to trying the pasta dished, because- marinara

Supreme pizza slice

Okay I am officially torn on which by-the -slice pizza I like better. I like Enzo's choice of toppings for their supreme. I said choice of toppings for a reason. Don't like olives and they keep them off. And they have a nice cheese overlay. But I like the sauce at Giorgio's way better.

I'm so excited I rode by and saw this ENZO location this weekend I have only ever been to the busy one in Franklin IN and that's a bit of a drive. It is such a great Italian eatery! They have the best breadsticks, almost undercooked in a good way. So soft and well seasoned too!! Their sauces are also amazing! Cheese sauce is thick n creamy as it should be. The pizza dipping sauce is chunky, flavorful and tastes Italian & homemade too! The location is almost hidden just a sign on the side of a huge building downtown. Only a few pay to park spots along the street make it more difficult but the food is worth it! The staff was friendly and fast, food was as I remembered from the other location! Glad I have one closer to me now for all my pizza/ past cravings :)

Enzo Pizza is good. Give it a try. Quick service and the staff is very friendly. They have all the standard options for a pizza by the slice shop. I think there are better pizza places downtown, but Enzo is still very good. Come give them a try if you like Pizza by the slice!

Pepperoni.

3 stars Price is great. Under $4 for a big slice. 5 stars. Pepperoni slice is not bad. 3 stars. 5pm and no all meat slices? 1 Star. Friendly staff. Pizza is not bad. Good for the price. Out of pizza at prime time. Not a good look. Overall not bad not great.

One topping pizza and 2 breadsticks combo

I'm a sucker for a pizza place that sells by the slice! I love seeing the pizzas on the counter behind the glass and picking my perfect slice. Enzo pizza is your quintessential pizza lunch spot. They had about 6 different pizzas to choose slices from including cheese, pepperoni, veggie, meat lovers and some chicken options. They also serve calzones, pasta and salads. They have a few combo options as well if you want to sample a few things! I ordered a combo with a slice of one topping pizza (I got pepperoni), 2 breadsticks, dipping sauce and 21 oz drink. It was perfect! The slice was huge!!! Not too thin not too thick. Very nice sauce to toppings ratio! The nice guy also let me have one regular breadstick and one stuffed with pepperoni. They pop it in the oven and it comes out piping hot! The breadsticks were pretty good, but nothing absolutely amazing. It does come with a very big cup of marinara or cheese dipping sauce (your choice). They serve Pepsi products and will do free refills while you're in the restaurant. It is definitely not a fancy spot. There's about 12 tables half are for 2 and the other are for 4. But it's perfect for lunch downtown. They were super quick and kind when I was taking a long time to decide. The price is very reasonable! All of my food was less than $10 which was great!

Amazing pizza and breadsticks, perfect for late night cravings or hangovers! 10/10 would recommend

Spinach Roll
Jay M.

We went there for a quick bite. The place is good, although vegetarian options are very limited. We went for Veggie Pizza and Spinach Roll. Both of them were good. The Ricotta on the top of pizza was great. The staff can be a little more polite. But, we didn't get into much of a communication given the time crunch we had. Overall, a decent place to have a quick bite.

Sausage Pizza!

Hello Enzo, how I love thee. This is the spot for NY style pie and is the best option for grabbing a quick slice. They have other options such as calzones and pasta but I haven't been able to move past the nicely browned and hot slice of NY pie. Quick and easy for afternoon lunch crowd but get there early as the line can go out the door.

This little hole in a wall pizza joint has excellent slices. The minute you walk in the door you are greeted with "hey boss how you doing". It's like eating at a friends house. The pizza is decent, the slices a generous, and the prices are reasonable.

I'm totally surprised by some of the bad reviews for Enzo's, my husband and I LOVE Enzo's! We legit come here every weekend. They have some of the best pizza in Indy! Definitely the best NY style pizza in Indy. The crust is always light, flaky, and crispy, the toppings are fresh and delicious, their pepperoni breadsticks are second to none, and they have great customer service! Can't say enough good things about Enzo's!!

J J.

Being from ny I take my pizza serious lol. The pizza is average not to much to I just enjoy it because it's convenient at work and it's not the "cookie cutter" pizza you get from the big chains around

While I don't think we should get an appetizer again because it was so much food, the marinara that can with the cheesy garlic bread was phenomenal. Both of our entrees were delicious! A ton of food. I wish we could have taken some home, but we're going to a show after. Brussel sprouts were to die for.... So good. Love the glaze they put on them. Again, I think we could have been fine with just our entrees and salads, but all the food we tried was so delicious - I am really glad we did. We may not make it back as often as I would like, but we love the ambiance, service, and food. This is a special place for us and we hope to share it with others.

The entrees (the monkfish special and the carbonara) were good but not great. I did appreciate the crispy, smoky pancetta in the carbonara but the monkfish had a somewhat mushy texture rather than the he firmness we would normally expect. The biggest issue, though, was the check. The calamari never came off, the meatballs for the children's pasta were more expensive than what was on the menu, and we were charged for an extra calamari dipping sauce that we did not ask for. Most of these problems were fixed but the whole thing illustrated a lack of attention to detail and an appearance of up-charging the customer in any way possible. Overall: Food: fair 4/5 Service: decent 3.5/5 Pricing: suspicious 2/5

Service was good and we were seated immediately and checked in on at a good pace throughout the night. We ordered the... Burrata Caprese 5/5 - Just get it. Get it. This was so good. We shared this as an appetizer and it was a great start. Short Rib Ravioli 5/5 - This was so good. Would definitely order again, flavor was just there and showing up. Shrimp Scampi 4/5 The shrimp was good, however didn't leave much of an impression for us. It could also be just because the range of different flavors we got this just seemed pretty ok. Dessert!!! We shared a cappuccino cheesecake and it was actually really really good. Was super tempted to get the tiramisu but we were feeling for something new and this didn't disappoint. Since we did it family style we thought the price was really reasonable and if you were visit for a late lunch or early dinner the area looks like a great place to walk and peruse at the little shops.

From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. We were seated right away with our reservation, and our server, Taylor, made the experience even better. She was engaging, personable, and attentive without ever feeling overbearing--the perfect balance of great service. The menu had so many incredible options that it was hard to choose. A few of us shared bottles of wine, and I went with the Sauvignon Blanc, which paired perfectly with dinner. We also ordered the calamari to start, and it was everything you hope for--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. (Sadly, I forgot to snap a photo before we devoured it!) For my entrée, I ordered the cavatappi with pesto and crispy chicken, and it was absolutely phenomenal. I cleaned my plate without hesitation. Every single one of the six of us ordered something different, and every person agreed it was some of the best food we've had in Indianapolis. Needless to say, we'll all be back for future date nights and celebrations. Another bonus? Bocca has a fantastic happy hour, and if you're lucky enough to grab a spot downstairs at Verité Cocktail Lounge, you can keep the evening going with even more happy hour specials. From the delicious food to the welcoming atmosphere and outstanding service, the entire experience exceeded my expectations. It's officially one of my favorite foodie finds in Indianapolis. I already can't wait to come back--and next time, I'm hoping for sunshine so I can enjoy their beautiful patio!

What a perfect excuse to go back and verify that my first experience was no fluke! They impressed again with what could be the best calamari fritti I have ever had. The calamari itself was melt in your mouth tender and the breading was both light and flavorful. The lemon herb aioli? On point! The first time I ate there, I ordered the branzino - which was amazing. Tender, flaky, and mild with the perfect crispiness in the exterior. Everyone who ordered it on this second visit raved about it. For my second visit, I branched out to the carbonara which was as beautiful on the palate as it looked in the bowl. A perfect crunchiness of the pancetta counterbalanced the tenderness of the pasta which was prepared to a perfect al dente. I reviewed a carbonara from a different restaurant earlier this year and now have an apples to apples comparison that heavily favors Vicino. However, the pasta choices are only rigatoni or spaghetti. From the pictures yes they really do have a pizza oven, which is fantastic The calamari was great, especially because it contained tentacles. However, at this price point, the plate was pathetically filled with barely anything. So they're charging high prices, trying to present themselves as a great place to be, and yet are feeding you less than the competitors out there. Our server was very nice, however did not know what tentacles were. Our server was slightly attentive but slow. The two pasta dishes we ordered were very disappointing. The sauce tasted like they came out of a jar and they were definitely not homemade or made from scratch in any way shape or form. The cheese is as well tasted like they came out of a bag and were not shaved or cut fresh. Unfortunately, I can even do the simple pasta better at home. Further, the alla Norma I was playing a game of trying to find the eggplant. My partner got the Bolognese and you could not find any meat in it whatsoever. It was very disappointing. By the time we left the place was packed, so maybe they are doing something right but frankly from three dishes, this was a huge disappointment and frankly a waste of money There are lots of other Italian places in the fishers and Carmel areas please go there.
