Finally I got to try this place. I have heard many good things. I got a slice of cheese pizza, a slice of Buffalo chicken pizza, two bread sticks, and a soda. The cheese pizza slice amazing. Everything else was pretty standard. This is located in the PNC building and it's only open during lunch. It's really hard to get to outside of that time. The service was great, though. The restaurant was very clean and had a cozy Italian decor. Overall it's a good spot for lunch if you work downtown or are doing something downtown M-F during the day. Otherwise the hours are way too restrictive. There are better pizza places that are actually open for dinner and on weekends. I would give this 3.75 stars if I could. The best NY style slice I've had since being in New York! Crust was perfection, balance of crispy and chewy. Cheese and sauce ratio was ideal! Little joint likely hard to find unless you come across it. Located in the PNC building in Indy, it's open for lunch only. Very reasonably priced too! Two slices and a drink for $11.00! Have you ever had one of those work days when you just needed to take a break? I'm not someone who usually takes a full-on lunch, but both body and mind were dragging today and so I decided to get away from it all and look for a new place to grab a bite to eat. I ended up inside the Hyatt Regency in downtown Indy and decided to check out Pizza di Tito, a pizza by the slice joint on the first floor that has a pretty similar vibe to other similar joints including mall spots like Luca, Giorgio's (which I think has now closed), and Pronta's a couple blocks away. Pizza di Tito is most definitely not a destination pizza spot. It's the kind of joint that works quite nicely for those working downtown including directly in the offices at the Hyatt. While I was there, they were doing a steady business if not quite what I would call busy. They have an interesting spot. Assuming that you're already parked downtown, the hotel has automatic doors (though one wasn't working) and this spot is a narrow little restaurant that is attractively decorated with your traditional counter for ordering. Like most places, they have a handful of specials. I ordered a #$ - a 1-topping slice, two breadsticks, and a drink. I was overjoyed that they had iced tea - something I've found to be fairly rare among pizza by the slice joints. This is New York-style pizza. I ordered pepperoni with two plain breadsticks. I decided to quickly eat there, though I'll admit it's not super wheelchair friendly given the narrow aisles of mostly 2-top tables. The employees were friendly and helpful. The order was ready quickly and cost right around $9. That's pretty consistent with "by the slice" places. I can eat for $8.55 at Pronta, though they also have a 5% discount for state employees. That said, the prices are similar. The breakdown? I'll take Pronta's slice any day. There's not a huge difference, but I definitely give it the edge. That said, the breadsticks here are vastly superior. I mean it's no contest. I almost wished I'd gone for pepperoni sticks because these were just quite good. Pronta's have a heaviness to them that just doesn't quite work. In terms of beverages, the edge is definitely here. First, they have iced tea here. Secondly, they have fountain here while Pronta is pretty much cans or bottled water or Jumex. I can tolerate either, but I'm an iced tea person and that's a huge plus here. Customer service is pretty similar. The atmosphere is more appealing, though accessibility is a bit weaker. That said, this is a hotel and there are nearby tables that are also an option. Another win. Truthfully, I really liked this place. While it's only a couple blocks from my office, I'd not been here and I have no doubt I'll return. I felt welcomed and the food was solid, priced fairly, and I had a nice atmosphere. They also have some breakfast sandwich options, stromboli, calzones, and other options for dining. Pizza di Tito holds a special place in my heart. It is unlike any other pizza place in Indy. Not only is this place nostalgia where every bite reminds me of the best times of my childhood, but you can feel the love in the atmosphere and in the food. My personal favorite item since childhood is the spinach and cheese Stromboli - satisfies every cheese lovers dream and pairs greats with the fresh and sweet marinara sauce. I also love their thin NY style pizza for when I'm craving a quick lunch between class or errands. The cherry on top is that the owner is incredibly kind and sweet as he makes sure every customer is satisfied with their food - plus he always has a smile on his face! I do not think many know of Pizza di Tito but those that do know how special it is. For those lost, this place is on the first floor of the big Hyatt Regency and PNC building. If you're craving pizza, something cheesy, or just a good quick bite to eat - stop in! read more

I'm posting 2 pictures on here because today I feel like I was scammed by this restaurant. The gentleman working charged me $9.27 for a panzeroti by itself... I asked how it's $9.27 when the meal is $9.60 for a drink, salad, and panzeroti and individually they have it priced at $6 and some change... He told me that the prices I see on the board are all wrong.... if they are wrong, why are they up still????? I told him that it's false advertisement to have a price up on the board and then charge me the price of a mean for the panzerotu by itself.... I was very respectful while there, especially because I was in my Army uniform, but I am honestly pissed about this situation. He refused to honor the price on the board for the individual panzeroti and didn't want to give me a drink or salad cause I didn't pay for the meal... I will NEVER spend a dime at this place ever again due to how I was treated while in uniform and how I was scammed by them and their false advertisement on prices.... read more

It's bigger than it looks. It's inside the Hyatt hotel. Pizza was coming out hot. It's delicious and the price is great. I was early so there was no line. English is spoken but not fluently. They have breakfast sandwiches and croissants, they have sandwiches, Stromboli, calzone, breadsticks as well of course as pizza. The dough is delicious and holds very well. The sauce on pizza is super delicious and fresh. Highly recommend for lunch. read more

My coworkers go here once a week. It is above average mall style pizza. They do take extra steps of hand rolling their breadsticks in the morning. I I have had it many times because of my coworkers, but not sure I would choose this otherwise. If you want a great breakfast to start off the day, Pizza di Tito is the place. You can get a great breakfast sandwich for less than 5 dollars or an omelette with toast or biscuit for less than 6 (see picture). The portion is great and you definitely get your money's worth. Consistently good food and fast service, no matter how slammed. They are always properly staffed and even when they are super busy, I've never had to wait more than five minutes for food. In addition to pizza, they have a really good lasagna. They also have chili, which is rumored to be from the same recipe Charlie & Barney's used when they were in the building. Here's what you need to know.... Pizza di Tito is located in the Hyatt on the ground floor next to the Subway. The pizza slices are about $4.00. The style is comparable to the mall food court pizza that we all know and love with big slices tossed in the oven to finish just before being served hot to you on a paper plate. Fantastic little place for lunch located on the lower level of the Hyatt. Staff is always friendly, albeit rushed. You pick out what you like, they warm it up in the oven, and get your food. Prices are good (better than the mall, typically) and the food is fantastic. Side salads are really great for the price and what you get - great homemade dressing as well. If you're in the area for lunch, definitely check it out - but they aren't open past the lunch rush so plan ahead and come in early! read more

Best pizza by the slice, calzones and definitely their breakfast menu. I can't start my day without a breakfast sandwich with a list of breads to choose from. Wheat, Texas toast, croissant, bagel, or tortilla. The price is not the same every time. I've ordered the same breakfast sandwich for half a year and have had a different $ total almost every time. Other than the varying cost based on if the staff are ringing up or the owners, the food is very good. Review changed based on prices still not consistent. Owners feel that veggies are more expensive than meat as a substitute. After 2yrs, policy of changing price at every visit is still viable. This is a fast casual (order/pay/pick-up at counter) Italian-ish restaurant inside the Hyatt downtown. They feature pizza by the slice (with many different types of pizza to choose from), lasagna, breadsticks, salads; etc. Most of the customers are downtown office workers picking up lunch to-go (though there is also a decent amount of seating within the restaurant, should you choose to eat there). The food is alright, and the prices are reasonable (about $10 for the combo I got that included a large chunk of piping-hot lasagna, a side-salad, and a fountain soda). The thing I really love about this place is the employees' attitudes, and how efficient they are: They've got their system down to a science, and move people through pretty quickly, they get the orders right, and they do it all with a smile. read more

This is by far my favorite pizza. It's so good. The workers are awesome, pizza is always delicious, and very fast service - even during the busy lunch time. However, I have had one bad experience today that I hope they will take into consideration, so that they can improve their customer service. Our company offered to buy us pizza for lunch today, and our first choice was Pizza di Tito. We had to pay over the phone with the company credit card. When I called to place the order, someone picked up the phone, then hung up immediately. Okay, I'll try again. This time, they picked up the phone, did not say anything and apparently just set it to the side. No "Hello, please hold", nothing. Just left it off the hook. I kept saying "Hello", but nobody answered. Luckily, we work close by, so a coworker went over to inform them that their phone was off the hook, as we wanted to place an order. My coworker then informed me that the man behind the counter did not say anything to her, just went over, and slammed the phone back on the hook very rudely. Not a "thank you for letting me know", etc. I did go ahead and place the order over the phone, since he decided to put it back on the line.
