Decided to try it out since my bf hadn't been here and it had been years for me. We ordered the stinky Pete and destroyer...both were absolutely delicious!!! Stacey was very welcoming and we definitely are going back to see her and try a couple more different pizzas. It started raining and was close to closing which we apologize for but we lost track of time. Definitely one of the best pizzas we've eaten in Indy!!! The atmosphere and vibe were really nice and chill. Love the outdoor area especially on a day like today.

Came back to town. This time drove and picked the pizza up instead. I ordered the Vegan Pile but also added cashew ricotta and the vegan sausage crumbles. Picked up some red pepper flakes with the pizza and put them on the pizza as well. Besides being a tad salty (olives and the ricotta I think), the pizza was so good! The location was easy to get to and the vibe of the place was trendy and nice.

If you haven't been you're missing out! Kick ass staff and delicious food. My favorites are the chicken Caesar salad, hot honey sesame wings, and just experiment with the pizzas to find your flavor! Something for every taste. Especially worth trying out the seasonal specials (not one the main menu). Creative cocktails and a great draft list too. Warm environment, soft lights, lots of plants, retro music, many windows. Delicious smells. Great spot! They have customer rewards setup too, giving cash back- love it!

Great food through and through. HORRIBLE service through and through. We are a busy couple who often just opt for pick up. You are automatically charged 15% gratuity, which I am fine with - except the food is always at least 20 mins behind the pick up time. They have forgotten sauces we paid extra for in the past, which we have let slide and just made sure they were in the order before leaving the next time. This time we decided because of the long wait times we would order delivery and just get it when we get it instead of waiting awkwardly I their place with no seating. We mainly order for their wings, if not the wings I would have walked across the street to Greeks. Order arrives - actually on time for the first time ever. No wings. Instead I received Ashleigh S's mozzarella sticks. We use the ranch for our pizza, no ranch. I called to explain. They offered to make wings and we could pick up (I would have done that from the jump if I wanted to drive) or they could refund me the wings. I was refunded a whopping $3 per the receipt they sent. I called back, they said they would get a manager and I was promptly hung up on with no call back. I called back twice, no answer. Love their pizza. Hate their customer service and management. They clearly don't have the capacity to handle online orders - wish we would have realized this the first 4x we gave them a shot. Wild they include the 15% gratuity for horrid service.

Had a little extra time downtown before heading home to the malaise of suburbia, so I ordered up a pizza from King Dough to snag before heading that way. The ordering process is smooth, and after reviewing all of the fun flavor combinations, I went with their signature pepperoni, which is paired with red sauce, oregano, and aged mozzarella. Upon arrival, I found a spot on the street, and was taken in by the neighborhood. It appears that there has been a fair amount of growth in the area and the landscaping was popping with color from the wildflowers. Even on a Tuesday evening, this location was fairly full of activity and there were people both inside and out enjoying their meals. I was so happy to see the wood fired oven doing its thing in the back of the space and gave it a reverential nod as the star of the show. My pizza wasn't quite ready, but after a brief check-in, they brought it right out and I was on my way. At home, I dug right in and it was worth the wait. The crust has just the correct amount of char in spots that you can't just get from your standard pizza oven. The pepperonis were a perfect size for me and curled up to form little cups with a slight crisp on the edges. All told, I "get it" now. I understand why King Dough comes up as one of the best pizza spots in the greater Indianapolis area. I will happily be adding this to our rotation.

This was my first time here and they happened to have a nice special so my small group was able to share. It took a while to decide on the pizza but we finally all agreed on one. There was a regular patron among us who recommended the Hot Honey wings and they were spectacular!! We also had the Greco salad that was pretty big and the Fungi Ricky pizza. It took me a second to get into the pizza but it was tasty, but different. Service was pretty fast and staff was helpful. Cute seating area with outside patio option but seemed to be a local fav because it was full. I'll be back for more wings for sure.

Great pizza place near Tech high school. E we're geared at the door and offered outdoor our indoor seating. We chose indoor because it was a little chilly out. They took us to a seat, there weren't many people there yet as we got there a little early right after opening. She offered us drinks. They have a peach unsweet iced tea that is really good, offered us a five dollar beer, special, as well as Coke products and various other alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks. We got a few drinks and did a salad. The shop salad was really good. I had lots of different ingredients in it. Was really good lettuce was crunchy and all the other parts of the salad tasted really great together. we also got a pizza the big boi pizza. With pepperoni, sausage, red onions, and some sweet peppers. It was really good. The sauce had a little heat to it. The crust was crispy and is really going to be one of our go to places moving forward. The waitress did a great job, taking care of us keeping our drinks filled and taking care of all of our needs. The inside of the place is industrial, not much, but clean and a real nice updated look. I would highly recommend this place if you'd like thin crust good pizza.

Definitely a top 5 pizza place in Indy for me. Best mozz sticks I've had. The spicy honey adds a great flavor. I prefer going well done on the pizza so the middle doesn't get too floppy. The ranch... an absolute must for dipping. Get there early cause it can be a 30+ minute wait on weekends.

This restaurant transports you to Brooklyn! I loved it! I've been trying to find a brick oven style pizza in Indy for a bit and this pizza was delicious! They're located near Smoking Goose so they have some fresh topping options from there. The inside has some high tops, low tops, TVs, and a separate bar area. They have fun, unique wines (that unfortunately are only by the bottle so I didn't get the chance to try any) and they have featured wines on Wednesdays. I do wish they had glass options of the more unusual wines. They do have specials on other days as well so check out their website! BE AWARE - they charge $3 for a side of ranch and have no problem not mentioning the extra cost, which I think is rude and should have be communicated. The patio is very lively and I hope to sit there next time when it's not raining. I look forward to trying more of their menu items soon

Our service was appropriately paced for the time it takes to make a Chicago deep dish pizza. I liked the TVs they had in the center of our dining area, which had some pre-season football coverage. The booths have taller partitions so it feels more intimate. I also liked the marquee saying "EAT PIZZA". I will certainly follow instructions there! The pizza we got was "The Special": sausage, green pepper, onion, and mushroom. I thought the pizza was fine, my only thing about Chicago style is that the vegetables can't caramelize like they would on a regular pizza. But that's just a personal opinion. I am pleased with the range of mocktail offerings, which are all $7.

No pizza place from my home state can't compare so Giordano's is always something to look forward to during our 4 day visit. Meat and more meat! This was our table's pizza that was split between 4 people. Honestly can't complain, I love all of their pizza but since we only visit once a year, we always order deep dish style. Never fails and always leaves us full! Carnivore? Then you should definitely order this dish! Make sure it's the biggest one too! Calabrian Chili Honey Chicken Wings Ok so I can't be entirely biased with Giordano's. We wanted to try this out since it was a limited chicken wing flavor and honestly it wasn't the best. I mean it's a pizza joint? They specialize in pizza but we were so hungry that we figured to try it out. Hey, if you love chicken wings or just an enthusiast for wings in general, by all means give this one a shot if it's still available! Overall Always excited to come to Indiana cause I KNOW I'll be eating some damn good pizza. Deep dish style isn't for everyone which is nice that they have their Tavern Style and Thin Crust Pizzas. But since Giordano's specializes in deep dish pizza, it's highly recommended to order deep dish style! can't wait to visit again next year and see what new pizza they'll have! And can't forget about the awesome servers doing their best on those busy convention nights! Y'all the real MVP's! Ambiance is warm and inviting with a bit of high noise since it's also got a bar but it never phases me, if anything it's relaxing since I know I'll be indulging into pizza goodness. Just remember to come hungry and you'll guaranteed to leave happy! See you next year Giordano's!

I have to laugh that my first review for this location of Bazbeaux, an Indy pizza icon since 1986,…read morewas actually my 300th Yelp review. Now, I'm over 1800 reviews and Yelp has become a huge part of my life. I was attending a nearby event related to Indy Shorts Film Festival and decided I wanted to visit Mass Avenue a bit once the event was over. This was early afternoon. After looking around a bit, I opted for a long-awaited return to Bazbeaux. Of course, a lot has changed in this area in the last few years. Parking prices are up (way up), though it's pretty plentiful with nearby street parking (metered) and parking along Mass Avenue. You also have a couple nearby parking garage options. Finding an accessible spot is fairly easy - curb cuts remain solid in this area and there continue to be some (but not all) crosswalks with audio. As was true nine years ago, accessibility on Mass Avenue can be challenging. That said, I think it has improved. I entered Bazbeaux and immediately noticed some improvement right away. There are two sides - a dining side, a bar side (with tables), and an aisle you can use for carry-out. The interior is warm, calming, and surprisingly intimate. The bar area is a bit louder, it's a bar area after all, but it's still pretty quiet. Service here remains strong. The hostess offered the bar area or a booth. Tables are not all wheelchair friendly, however, there are quite a few accessible options. My server, Samuel, was friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. He paced my meal nicely - I ordered garlic bread, my usual unsweetened iced tea (I think they still serve Mighty Leaf - an unusual choice that I love). I ordered a small (10") pizza with one-topping (pepperoni). I lingered a little bit, though not excessively so like my last visit. This time around, I was alone and my meal time was more traditional. The prices were definitely higher than last time, however, what price isn't higher than nine years ago? They were on park with the market these days and I had no issues with it - I think my meal came in at about $19 for the pizza, garlic bread, and iced tea (and I did get my always desired refill). Bazbeaux is unique in that every location (Mass Ave, Broad Ripple, Carmel) is located along the Monon Trail. They all have outside dining options, as well. They serve beer and wine, sandwiches, pizza, and more. One thing I have to say - accessibility is improved. I was noticeably bothered by it the last time I was here. This time around, I was comfortable and could easily function (I did not try the bathroom). While I could still see it being a bit difficult when packed, I arrived at an ideal time and was quite comfortable. The food was good, the service was very good, the prices were fair, and the atmosphere was nice and peaceful after a busy morning event. It really hit the spot. So, yeah. Last time around, I gave Bazbeaux a 3-star review. This time, I'm forking over that 4th star.
