This place is pretty neat. I'm gonna talk mostly about the restaurant part. The food was pretty good. Pasta cooked al diente to perfection. The burrata appetizer was pretty good as well. They have patio and inside, but the patio is not towards the main street downtown, so you get the air but not the smoke which is nice The downside is that the cocktails were pretty simple to be so expensive. Amazing Italian deli and bakery. Connected to their restaurant which looks amazing and is very pretty. I got some absolutely delicious items from the bakery. Pistachio cheesecake, a red velvet donut, and I got the 3 layer cake. The pink and green. I bought something that was at the register, another pastry I think. The register guy was super cool and told me about some great cheese they have at the stallings location so I'll definitely be a regular at both locations. The tiramisu at the bakery looked amazing as well. It's a beautiful place, you will definitely want to make a 20 min drive to Mathew's from Charlotte to enjoy this beautiful authentic Italian spot. read more

This is an exciting addition to have in downtown Matthews. The space looks great inside, with a full bar, shop, and dining area with a large patio. We tried the burrata, and a couple pastas, and the food was great. The only weak point were the cocktails which were priced pretty steep for the quality. Definitely will come back to try more food and check out the wine list! read more

So glad this place opened up near home and work! I went on lunch break abt 2p and it was jam packed, so I can only imagine during the evenings and wkends it's gonna be insane. The market part, there is so many options to choose from. The cafe has amazing options for lunch from sandwiches to pizza. Lunch is served from 11-3. Dinner service starts at 5 and I will definitely be back for that as well as try out the wine bar. I admit parking could be a challenge since there are other businesses plus the library there but if you can find a spot it's well worth it. I tried one of their sandwiches for lunch and it came with chips and was only $12. It was delish. Fresh bread and meats. They put their own label and ingredients which I trusted in their gelato in the freezer . But, they didn't list all ingredients. It's not their gelato but the needed to out the ingredients of the brand they used, they didn't . This is dangerous and another lie! Every food establishment has to disclose all ingredients. This means all artificial chemical and preservatives and additives are not listed!!! Allergens not listed. I trusted the label and I reacted to the gelato. Thankfully it wasnt bad enough to go to the emergency room . I'm putting it on here to WARN everyone. They also don't give the brand they are using! And the cost is high, but, if it really was from Italy and natural and healthy and free from chemicals, it would have been worth it . My spouse and I stopped in for a sandwich on a Saturday afternoon. This location is large and there was plenty of seating. He ordered the Italian and I had the meatball sub. The sandwiches came with some regular chips. We both enjoyed our sandwiches but we would've liked a more spice/kick to the meat and to the tomato sauce. We have been WAITING for this little gem to open! We love visiting the store in stallings and we're so happy they're a bit closer now in Matthews with a full bistro/cafe! We had lunch- Italian sandwich and a pepperoni pizza and also a small pesto salad. Everything was excellent- such great quality- the bread, the meat, the pesto- pizza so, so good! We will definitely be back for pasta at dinner!!! And no trip to Enzo's is complete without taking some cannoli home! Great new place! Awesome market too. I had Cioppino that was delicious. My GF had the Chicken Parm nicely done and enough to take home. CJ is an awesome server. I will ask for her in the future. I was so looking forward to trying Enzo's, but sadly it missed the mark in every way, especially the food. The caprese salad had mozzarella that was dry and unappetizing. The pesto pasta salad was also dry and the pesto lacked flavor. If needed more basil and more oil. The pizza was greasy and just lacked flavor. The crust was also burnt. There is nothing worse than feeling like a meal was not worth the money or the calories. When I go out to eat, I like to indulge. I like the food to be better than I could make it home (because I'm not that great of a cook, so the bar is not that high), but Enzo's was worse than what I would make at home.
