A great spot for an exclusive Yelp event, over a dozen award-winning Elites were here for about two hours. We had drinks and snacks and great service though it was interesting how many things they were out of due to delivery issues. The charcuterie board was excellent, the flatbread pizza was great (try the salmon!) and the salmon sushi was terrific. The spicy feta spread is definitely spicy. Came here for an awards ceremony. Okay, it was the Yelpies, but still, it's a major award! This place is so relaxing, on the small side, but set up in a way that feels cozy and intimate rather than small and cramped. We had a few of the tables together to sit as a group ,I want to say 14ish people. There is also a bar that has seating as well as outdoor tables. The food was delicious! We ordered a variety to try and enjoyed every bite! The Flatbreads are full of flavor. The hummus and dips were yummy as well. They offer coffee, tea, wine, and full bar for beverages, and water is brought to the table. There is a parking garage right there that has a 2 hour limit, but we were able to find parking down the street a bit and walk up. This place definitely lives up to the name. It's a whole vibe. I love the ambiance, very cozy and quaint. Great for a date night or girls night, even if you want to enjoy solo. I had the pleasure of attending with the 2023 Yelp Winners. We sampled quite a bit of dishes, I think my fave was the salmon flat bread. I also had an iced coffee and a glass of Riesling which were both delish. The parking garage is right next door so it's a quick easy walk back to your car. I saw a name of a wine from Chateau Julia, so I had to try it. It was great, but I opted for a glass of the Pinot Grigio since I saw a previous review about it. It was a great drink for this hot summer night. Late into the evening decided to order the Sundae Crepe with chocolate ice cream. My friend decided to create her own menu item. Later found out the man helping us is the owner! He gladly listened to her dietary preferences and brought out a yummy spread of Turkey wrapped cucumbers with olive oil and oregano aka The Dee. Sundae crepe -- warm gooey Nutella and Oreo with ice cream. I mean. Yesssss. The owner, Vascili, was so kind and hospitable. We chatted for several minutes even after they had officially closed and he shared about live jazz music on Saturday nights. They specialize in Greek coffees and even imports several juices and drinks in the fridge by the register from Greece. First time at Vibe, was so awesome we came back the next day for breakfast! Atmosphere - very chill and relaxed. I enjoyed the music and the *vibe* of the place. Staff - so nice and attentive. We got to pick anywhere to sit and they got our drinks and food out super fast. It was almost like a "we're all family here, come in and hang out" type thing. I enjoyed my visit to Vibes Cafe and Wine Bar. It's a cozy little Greek-European spot, tucked just under the stairs of 1315 East Blvd in Dilworth, and it's positioned just beside Red@28th. The location is quaint, chill, and if you can't grab a high-top or a table, there is seating at the bar. Service is great. Staff will recommend items from the menu and let you sample wine if you have any questions about what's on the wine list. Options aren't too extensive or too small - if I had to describe the overall menu offerings, I'd say everything is "just right." A friend and I ordered appetizers to share. I highly recommend the dolmathes (stuffed grape leaves) and the tiropita/spanikopita (I love spanikopita and both pastries are served with a side of tzatziki sauce). You CANNOT beat the authentic flavor of the dolmathes. Wine suggestion: Tetramythos Cabernet. A medium-bodied taste of Heaven. We were super excited to try out the new menu that came out in May. The owner who owes the Russian store had absolutely delicious shashlik in the store so we were super excited to try this one. We came in, it was almost empty, the wait was extremely slow! Only 1 waiter and think the owner- which were both nice. Not sure what the hype is all about. The "pork kebab" shashlik was HORRIBLE!! Came with 4 pieces and No flavor what so ever! The pork what seemed to be boiled and placed somewhere to make grill lines! I did not eat the plate even though I was starving. This is NOT A SHASHLIK! Shashlik is grilled! The lavash was sooo hard! Not fresh at all Also got the mashed potatoes with katleti. Katleti are the worst I've ever tried! No flavor no seasoning! We met the owners and their family (including the family's 6 month old golden retriever!) and could not have had a better time. They were warm, loving, and an absolute joy to talk with. If you love an authentic Greek atmosphere and to feel part of the family, this is a must. So! Tips for you if you visit here (and you should!): - Wine drinkers - try the Greek "house" wine. It's incredible! Dry, full-bodied and does not disappoint! A steal at $11. - Beer drinkers - try the Fix. No flavors or flair, just great beer. - Desert lovers - you can't go wrong...BUT, you MUST try the Galaktoboureko!! It's made by one of the owners herself and is AMAZING (if you like baklava, this is better). The Karithopita is just as good. DO NOT MISS DESSERT! You will love this place.
