The power to our home went out today and after Edison confirmed it wasn't an outage and the maintenance staff at our mobile home park weren't answering, we didn't know what to do. After trying the circuit breakers a few times, I started calling around trying to get someone out to help. Most people weren't responding or wanted to charge a high rate to just come out and troubleshoot since it was a Saturday night. While they weren't able to physically come out to our home due to a personal injury, he was kind enough to help us troubleshoot over phone and with text images for no charge. It was with this help that we were able to eliminate many possibilities and eventually figured out what the issue was and we restored our power. Joe and his team were terrific. I requested him to come out 2 separate times for different circuits that were having issues. One of them was a problem cause an outlet was not initially wired correctly which was causing a problem downstream. The other was a bad breaker that was intermittently working. He responded very quickly and came out the same day the first time and within a day for the second time. We had Joe fix our recess lighting awhile back. I cannot rave enough about him. He was professional, knowledgeable and got everything done so quickly. Little backstory, we tried to cut corners and used a non licensed electrician to do our recess lighting. He not only shorted our house, but could have caused an electrical fire! Had an electrical problem and called them to come. They spent 3 hours here "troubleshooting", nothing was fixed, and charged us $360! ..and then suggested the only way to fix the problem was to rewire the entire house.. which they said will cost us $15,000! While they were here "troubleshooting", a few things in the house stopped working and said they were completely shot and we'd have to replace them. We wanted a second opinion and got another electrician to come out. He told us what the problem was in 2 minutes.. without even entering our home. He told us it was a problem that the electric company had to come fix and to call them. We did just that... and now everything is fixed! ..even the things they told us we'd have to replace. I can't tell you how bummed I am that we spent $360 for absolutely nothing. These guys are either complete jerks or incompetent. Either way, call anyone else. read more
