My husband and I visited Ephesus Turkish Restaurant in Alpharetta on Saturday, March 21st around 5:30 pm. The food was excellent, but unfortunately the service fell short. Our server spoke very limited English and wasn't able to answer our questions about the menu or drinks. After we ordered, our food took a very long time to arrive, and it was clear there were some issues happening in the kitchen. The owner did apologize and kindly offered us some baklava to take home, which we appreciated. I truly hope they're able to resolve these service challenges. At the time, the restaurant only had five tables occupied, and one couple even left before being served.

Delicious authentic food, good prices, good service, good atmosphere. My fav middle Turkish/middle eastern food in Alpharetta

I eat middle eastern food quite a bit and this was very good... even the veggies were good! There was a belly dancer... she could shake shake that thang... seriously she was a good dancer. At one point she even had a lot up outfit that was cool to watch. It was not very busy in here for a Friday night but that was great... there was no fighting for the servers attention, it wasn't crazy in here, we could get drinks easily, and we could see the show with no obstructions. Things start going down, as far at the dancer, at around 10pm and the location is open until 2am. From what they said they have belly dancing classes on Thursdays and actual dance shows on Friday and Saturday. They have a large selection of hook-a options... things with different fills for the bases, a bunch of flavors combos, and even offer a delta 8 option. The decor is cool... Let's start of with how beautifully embellished the restaurant is. It's a refined fusion of modern elegance & old-world Persian heritage, that celebrates Persian hospitality & culture. You're greeted by the hostess that radiates warmth and geniality. Once seated you're gifted a complimentary starter Sabzi Plate that includes fresh herbs, feta cheese, walnuts, Castelvetrano olives, crunchy radish, and premium walnuts. It also comes with side of freshly baked Persian flatbread. We ordered a plethora of dishes. Our favorite plates were the hummus [we paired with the mushroom add on], lamb chops, and the Adas Polo rice. Trust me get the Adas Polo rice, it absolutely mouthwatering. As for beverages there is a variety of curated cocktails that we tasted but my top pick had to be the Tehran Mule! As for desserts our favorite was the Persian ice cream sandwich, it has unique flavors with rose being one of them. So good! For parking they offer a combination of valet services and validated garage parking depending on which location you go. The dress code is business casual. It's a perfect place for any accession, I definitely am planning on coming back to try more dishes. Take my word and come check it out! Your taste buds will thank you!

Finally got the chance to try out Delbar!…read more We arrived early for our reservation, so we decided to sit at the bar while waiting. To hold us over, we ordered the hummus and Za'taar fries. The hummus came topped with fried chickpeas, which was such a nice addition-- I'd never had them prepared that way before, and the crunch added great texture. The fries had a nice cut and flavor, but they weren't as crispy as I'd hoped. I'd order the hummus again, though probably not the fries. Once we finished our appetizers, we were escorted to our table, which ended up being a pretty tight fit. We were seated at a two-person table between two larger groups of four, so it felt a bit cramped. Honestly, had we known the seating situation beforehand, we would've dined at the bar since it felt much more comfortable for dining and conversation. By that point, we were slightly full from the appetizers, so we decided to share just the Hanger Steak and the Polo Sefid. The steak smelled incredible and tasted just as good-- definitely a great choice! As for the rice, I may have gone in with high expectations after seeing so many pictures of it on social media, but for me, it was just decent. My boyfriend and I weren't huge fans of it since the grains kept getting stuck in our teeth. The service throughout the night was excellent. Everyone we interacted with was warm and welcoming. Our server, Lance, was attentive and helpful with recommendations, refills, and checking in on us. I also loved the aesthetic of the restaurant. From walking through the doors and sitting down, everything was pretty. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend checking out Delbar!
