We ordered the Bosnian dumplings, Albanian Pastry plate and the mix appetizer for appetizer. One of the best Baba Ghanoush I ever had. Followed by Pistachio Urfa Kebab and Turkish grilled meat Patty and everything was so yum! We also loved the Katayif with Baqlava to die for! It's going to be my number one to go to! And the service was absolutely amazing! So happy to have found this place. Ambience and music was amazing too!

My husband and I visited Ephesus Turkish Restaurant in Alpharetta on Saturday, March 21st around 5:30 pm. The food was excellent, but unfortunately the service fell short. Our server spoke very limited English and wasn't able to answer our questions about the menu or drinks. After we ordered, our food took a very long time to arrive, and it was clear there were some issues happening in the kitchen. The owner did apologize and kindly offered us some baklava to take home, which we appreciated. I truly hope they're able to resolve these service challenges. At the time, the restaurant only had five tables occupied, and one couple even left before being served.

Mixed platter with fresh pita bread. The Babaganush was my favorite!! It was all so good.

Wow we were blown away by the food! I can't believe we hadn't been here yet. We will definitely be back soon, we were so pleased by everything! One of my favorite new restaurants I have tried lately and the service was amazing. It's beautiful inside. The birds were a nice touch!

We really enjoyed this restaurant. We tried many items. We had tabouleh, Greek Salad, Bosnian dumplings, mixed appetizer with Baba Ghanoush, Beet Salad, and Tirokafteri, Chicken Shish Kebab, Turkish baklava with vanilla ice cream and Turkish tea. All were delicious and the best Turkish food we have ever had. My husband said it was the best baklava he ever had. I really loved everything we ate. One of my favorite things were the stuffed grape leaves that came on the Greek salad. I never had ones like this before. They were spiced with lamp and very flavorful. The server was a woman who was very attentive and kind while also letting us enjoy our private date. The ambiance of the restaurant was very pleasant because of the cute decor with green velvet chairs, big flower art and olive trees. It was nice to hear Turkish music that wasn't too loud and seeing an open kitchen where you can see the chef preparing the food. It was a relaxing atmosphere. I will also add that the portions are very generous and the prices are very good. You will leave very full and satisfied without breaking the bank. The food is fresh and healthy.

Let's start of with how beautifully embellished the restaurant is. It's a refined fusion of modern elegance & old-world Persian heritage, that celebrates Persian hospitality & culture. You're greeted by the hostess that radiates warmth and geniality. Once seated you're gifted a complimentary starter Sabzi Plate that includes fresh herbs, feta cheese, walnuts, Castelvetrano olives, crunchy radish, and premium walnuts. It also comes with side of freshly baked Persian flatbread. We ordered a plethora of dishes. Our favorite plates were the hummus [we paired with the mushroom add on], lamb chops, and the Adas Polo rice. Trust me get the Adas Polo rice, it absolutely mouthwatering. As for beverages there is a variety of curated cocktails that we tasted but my top pick had to be the Tehran Mule! As for desserts our favorite was the Persian ice cream sandwich, it has unique flavors with rose being one of them. So good! For parking they offer a combination of valet services and validated garage parking depending on which location you go. The dress code is business casual. It's a perfect place for any accession, I definitely am planning on coming back to try more dishes. Take my word and come check it out! Your taste buds will thank you!

We had 4 adults and one 3 year old. We got out for something in the neighborhood of of $240. Ordering is ala carte: we had 3 meats, 3 sides, drinks. We had a very small bit left over. Decor was excellent. A beautiful entryway, muted lighting, muted noise. Service was attentive, friendly, and very helpful. While I'd love to return regularly, price makes that impossible, but it was definitely worth this visit. It will be up for consideration next time we have something big to celebrate.

As a longtime San Francisco Bay Area foodie, I've been spoiled by incredible international food and…read morebold, complex flavors, so I'm always excited when I find a restaurant that delivers that same sense of discovery. Delbar absolutely does. The food here stands on its own--layered, interesting and incredibly delicious. I had been looking forward to dinner at Delbar Old Milton for two reasons: a long-overdue dinner with an old colleague and a serious craving for Middle Eastern food. After battling Atlanta-area traffic from Marietta--it took nearly an hour for what should have been about a 30-minute drive--I was ready to settle in, catch up and EAT. I'd previously been to Delbar in Inman Park with a group and loved it, so expectations were high. Old Milton did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. Warm, sophisticated and beautifully designed, with a Persian rug welcoming you along the entrance and complimentary valet parking--a huge plus. The young valet team was impressively polished and efficient. I started with a Paper Plane, apparently my new financially irresponsible cocktail habit. Delicious, but these things are expensive! I blame the Italian liqueur. Two cocktails pushed north of $40, so perhaps I need a more economical signature drink. Then came the food. We started with the beet carpaccio: red beets, whipped feta, burnt honey, sour orange, pistachio and almond dukkha. Beautifully balanced--earthy, creamy, sweet, tart and nutty all at once. I let my dinner companion take over ordering from there, which proved to be an excellent decision. The Bandari Olovieh was the surprise of the evening: saffron-marinated smoked salmon with cream cheese, dill, chives, jalapeño purée, potatoes, Aleppo pepper, urfa, hot sauce, fried capers and cornichons, served with saffron potato chips. I'm not usually a salmon person, yet I loved this. The salmon was mild and delicate without the stronger flavor I sometimes associate with salmon or trout. And those saffron potato chips? Dangerous. I could happily eat a bowl of them. We also had the koobideh kabob, made with ground beef brisket and lamb shoulder with onion and saffron, served over taftoun with grilled pepper, tomato and sumac onions. Tender, juicy and packed with flavor. Wrapped in that bread, it was almost like the world's most delicious little Middle Eastern slider. By then, we were DONE. I had every intention of trying dessert, but there was simply no room. It was also getting late, and work was waiting for both of us the next morning. Next visit. Service throughout dinner was friendly and knowledgeable. This is a menu where good servers matter. Ours could explain the dishes and ingredients rather than simply take an order, and that added to the experience. Two small notes on the space. If Atlanta is doing its summertime furnace impression, I'd avoid tables near the doors leading to the patio. Every time they opened, a blast of hot air rolled through. Sit farther inside and enjoy the AC. And while I loved the Persian rug and overall design, the faux flowers and wisteria covering the entrance pergola weren't my favorite. Atlanta sun is brutal on anything artificial, and the rest of the restaurant is sophisticated enough that the entrance deserves something equally polished. Those are minor quibbles. The important part is this: Delbar is serving seriously delicious food in a beautiful setting with thoughtful service. If you're anywhere around Alpharetta or Roswell, make the detour. This place is not to be missed. Life is too short not to eat well. Get out there and find your next meal! Sorry, no photos;(
