The decor is beautiful! Instead of traditional booths and chairs, this establishment provides couches at each table which makes for a comfier (if that's a word ) experience. The hookahs are reasonably priced, clean and pull smoothly. They run a lunch special between 12-3pm Mon-Thurs. My friend and I had the hummus, mocktail, Dennar and Baklava. Hummus- a bit chunky. It very flavorful. Mocktail- I was told it was a concoction of Red Bull, Cranberry Juice and lime juice. It honestly still just tasted like Red Bull. Dennar - huge portion size! The rice had chickpeas in it and the salad seemed to be a dark leaf mix of some sort with beets and tossed in a light dressing. All of it tasted fantastic Baklava - 10/10 (but this was also my first time ever having baklava). While it was a bit slow when we were there we wished the server checked on us more consistently. There would be times when we were checked on a little too much and the n times when we would have to look for staff. Ultimately it's a very nice establishment for hookah, food and an alternative to the traditional coffee house work space!

Very beautiful place! The food was soo good. The ambience is lovely. It's huge and good for groups. Hookah is amazing too. I'll definitely be back

This place is recently opened (2months back). The decor and ambience is welcoming. Its clean and spacious. Does need a few suggestions, like an in house made hot sauce rather than sauces in packets (those served at fast food restaurants). The place is not too loud and great to socialize as music is not loud like other hookah places. No alcohol served so that was a bit of a disappointment so we ended up not staying for hookah. Food is really good especially the lamb chops. Servers are pleasant.

Mixed Grilled Kebab Feast It was really good pretty juicy and super delicious

Love this place! Very friendly and attentive service, lots of hookah flavors, and the food is delicious. We ordered the Mixed Appetizer Small (great big portion size) and the Chicken Kabob plate (not pictured, but also a great portion size). We have come a few times now and are always happy. Very instagrammable decor inside too. Note that there are no alcoholic drinks on the menu FYI

I'm not gonna I went in with high expectations from all the hype I've hearing about this restaurant and sadly it wasn't all that sadly :/ I honestly think that this restaurant has the potential to be this really chic cute hookah lounge/ restaurant The hookah was great it was smooth and the guy even offered to start it for me which was nice and our waiter was super sweet and the staff is nice the only thing that I honestly think needs some attention is the food the starters were bomb we ordered the cheese rolls and falafel and that were amazing and nice and warm we at those up in minutes haha but the beef kabab was good could be better but the fish on the other hand was very dry and almost had no flavor and the rice that comes with all the dishes was sloppy the mixed salad was okay and the fries were good it's just the food

Mixed Grill Kebab. Super dry, over salted, overpriced, and lacks flavor. Very disappointed.

For a place that strives to look hip & over the top, with many items overpriced, the food was not even subpar- it was terrible. It wasn't busy at all, since we came around 5pm. The mixed grill kebab platter lacked flavor, way too salty, and was super dry. The kunafa was very dry, tasted microwaved and seemed as if they tried to mask it by pouring sugar syrup on top. When we entered, we first chose a table that was closer to the middle of the restaurant. Without knowing the bench was broken, I almost fell off the side when it came caving off the ledge. The waiter tried not to laugh at me and said "oh yeah, I forgot that was broken. You should choose another table." There is a big screen TV where they play inappropriate music videos/songs. I've seen a family who had few kids... it is not a family friendly place. We waited about 40 minutes to get our check, and we just couldn't wait to get out of there.

I don't like to be overly checked on when trying to enjoy date night with the hubby and it seemed like she knew when to come and when to let us have our moment. I loved that. The food was amazing 10/10, would definitely recommend. Started off with appetizers of oysters and chicken egg rolls, and the entree of lamb chops did us in. Everything was on point, from the time we entered until we left. Will definitely be going back. And I have added this to my favorite spots.

Super attentive without hovering, gave spot-on recommendations, and was playful, funny, and genuinely kind. You can tell she loves meeting people, and it made the whole table feel celebrated. Food was way better than I expected for a hookah lounge. Get the oysters - fresh and perfect - and the pesto garlic bread is a must. Seriously addictive. And the hookah? SLAPS. Smooth, flavorful, and they keep it going without you having to ask. The ambiance is very Atlanta in the best way: flowery walls for photos, eclectic cozy seating, great music, dim lighting, total vibe. We stayed way longer than planned because we didn't want to leave. Already planning my return. If you're in Sandy Springs, book a table here!

Walked in, lights low in the best way, and the DJ was straight up locked in. Music was to the point, no filler, no random stuff that kills the mood, just the right tracks at the right time. You could actually feel the room moving with it. That's the difference between somewhere that plays music and somewhere that knows how to set a vibe. Here's the part that won me over though: the kitchen stays open late. Like actually late. Everywhere else around here is shutting the kitchen down by 10, so if you're a night person you're usually stuck with nothing. Being able to get real, hot food well past that? Super refreshing, and honestly kind of rare. Go in hungry, it's worth it. Hookah was smooth too, clean pulls all night and the flavor held up the whole time. And the staff were friendly and on it, checked on us without hovering. You can tell they actually want you to have a good night. If you're out in Alpharetta and want somewhere to chill late that still has real energy and a kitchen that doesn't quit at 10, this is the move. DJ, hookah, late-night food, all of it hit. Easy five stars, we'll be back.

I have been coming to Charcoal N Chill for over three years, including before the current…read moremanagement took over. Over that time, I've had many great experiences here and have recommended the place to numerous friends and family members. Unfortunately, my most recent experience left me disappointed. A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to attend a Friday evening event. I arrived as I normally would, only to discover there was a cover charge and a bouncer at the entrance. The cover charge itself was not the issue. What bothered me was how I was treated. During the interaction, the bouncer physically pushed me away from the entrance. I found that completely unnecessary and disrespectful. As a result, I asked to speak with the owner or someone from management because I did not feel comfortable discussing the situation with the bouncer, especially given how I had been treated. To my surprise, I was told that the owners had asked me to Zelle the cover charge. To be clear, I was never asking for a discount, exemption, or special treatment. I was simply trying to address the way I had been treated at the door and have a conversation with management. Over the years, I have spent a considerable amount of time and money at this establishment and have actively supported it by bringing many guests. I never expected preferential treatment because of that. What I do expect, however, is to be treated with basic respect and dignity. This review is not about the food, hookah, ambiance, or service inside the lounge, all of which I have genuinely enjoyed for years. It is about a customer experience and the choices made by management in handling that situation. A long-time customer who has consistently supported the business should not be made to feel dismissed or disrespected. I thought about this for more than ten days before posting because I genuinely enjoyed this place and did not want to leave a negative review. However, the experience stayed with me. Since then, I have stayed away despite having been a regular visitor. I sincerely hope management takes feedback like this seriously. Respect costs nothing, and it is often what customers remember most.
