The two women that assisted us were extremely friendly and helpful. We were a bit indecisive, but they remained patient throughout. They were able to quickly search their inventory to tell us what styles/colors they had in stock. They also helped us try on wigs ($3 for the weaving cap if you want to try anything on). I found this company through a Google search for high quality USA wigs. I was ordering for Mardi Gras, and so I needed the 3-5 delivery time frame that ordering from a US company provided. Thank you, google search, for introducing me to Epic Cosplay. They have a wide variety of colors and styles. As a New Orleans woman, the number of occasions you can or need a wig are frequent! In the past, I was spending about $60-$80 per wig, only so that I could get excellent quality. No one wants a wig that sheds, looks cheap, or is ugly due to poor quality. Now, I can get 2 or 3 wigs for what I used to spend through Epic Cosplay. They not only had the neon green that I needed for my costume, but they had a variety of styles in the color. The quality was comparable to the more costly wigs that I purchased in the past. I have no fear that this wig will lose style or shape as it is stored away, and I trust that it will look as good Fat Tuesday evening as it will Fat Tuesday morning. First and foremost, please call and make an appointment before you come. This will save you a lot of time and a lot of disappointment. I called during business hours and someone picked up on the first try. I was able to make an appointment same-day. This is a warehouse, so there is a minimal display area. From what I was told, they are in the process of acquiring another space for a display area. Appointments are recommended so that they can prepare any wigs you may be interested in. This saves a bunch of time, because they retrieve the wigs from the warehouse before you get there. They have a HUGE inventory. They have all lengths and styles, as well as natural and fantasy colors. The customer service here is really great, and the prices are super reasonable. I got a long "pseudo" lace front for $45, and my friend got an extra long 38-inch for $40. A "pseudo" lace front has a more natural hairline in the front, but it does not have an extra overhanging piece of lace. This store is very well-organized. If you have a specific look in mind, they can search the inventory for you. read more

This was my first time buying a wig and I will never go anywhere else. I had gone to several other wig shops for a wig to wear to work to cover up my colored hair, and the last one I had time to go to was EpicCosplay Wigs. It's a bit hard to find since they don't have a sign yet, but neither do 80% it'll the other storefronts. It's in an industrial area as well. I brought a friend who is more experienced in wigs and could tell me what was worth buying and what wasn't. After the other wig shops, our hopes were low, but alas, I needed a wig. Upon first walking in Tiffany greeted us with a huge smile and warm greeting. We got down to business and I told her exactly what I was looking for, medium/long length wig with bangs in a natural red color. She said she had one in mind, showed us in the catalog, and went in back to find it. While we were alone in front, my friend began looking at the wigs on display and was thoroughly impressed by both the craftsmanship and how thick the hair was. Could this be the place? Could we have finally found an affordable yet high quality wig store? Yes! It was! Tiffany brought out two colors in the wig we talked about, one being too red for what I was looking for, but the other was the perfect shade of Ginny Weasley red. She put it on the wig head and began telling us about how all the wigs are made with a tangle resistant fiber (provided you properly brush it, which is beginning towards the ends, and yes you should brush your own hair this way if it is tangled). The wigs are also low heat stylable, up to 350°F. I instantly fell in love with the wig, it was exactly what I had pictured in my head, save for needing to trim the bangs a bit shorter. Though they make the bangs longer on purpose to let the customer be able to cut/style the exact style of bangs they are looking for. I looked to my friend for her approval, and after assessing the quality, she gave the ok. The one I got was $37, plus a wig cap for $3, and a wig stand (not wig head, which are currently out of stock) for $6. The wig stands come in white, black, or pink. This was way less inexpensive than I was expecting, and way less than the other wig stores which had much lower quality synthetic wigs. I am so excited to wear this to work now, and i can't wait to order more in the future! Tiffany was amazing, and if we had more time we all would have kept talking for at least 30 more minutes probably. A few cool things about them also, free shipping when you buy online (they are mostly online, and ship free anywhere in the US), and they have a sister store named 'pishposhwigs' which has fashion lacefront wigs (Think those awesome colored ombre wigs) for around $70-$90 and of the same thick high quality synthetic hair. Tiffany mentioned they will be moving into a newer larger space soon so that they can have a more customer friendly front room and attract more business that way. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for a wig for cosplay, halloween, work, and/or everyday life. read more

Great company! I ordered a wig as a holiday gift, well in advance of the holidays. When the package got lost in transit I contacted customer support. After a little due diligence on their part they sent out a second wig, which in fact arrived on time. Then the first wig arrive weeks later out of the blue. I informed customer support about the second wig. They offered to email me prepaid postage to return it. I told them that the first wig was such a hit that other people were jealous and that I'd like to keep the 2nd wig to give as a gift. And they agreed. I think that says a lot about Epic. I came here today with a friend, and I was SO pleasantly surprised. We called first and found out that we needed to make an appointment- they were able to see us on our lunch break. Not only was the selection huge, the prices were great and the staff was helpful. I wish I could remember the name of the guy who helped us- he brought out SO many wigs to show us and had a great attitude throughout our visit. He also gave me some great tips for hiding my hair under the wig- it's Rex and curly and I have a LOT of it, so it's not easy to hide and his tips were very welcome.
