So I went with the earliest date and time that was available for me and made my appointment for that date. On the day of, I came in and the front desk staff tells me, "oh your appointment was cancelled because it's too soon for the technician to see you". I had already driven for 30min to get here, took time out from my work. They had the time to call me but pretty much waited until I got there in person to tell me that they cannot. I left right away because I didn't want to waste more time away from work. Once I came back home, I called the office asking why they couldn't give me a call sooner that they cannot have me in. Their answer: "we had a technical issue so we couldn't call". Such BS. Then use your personal mobile or something to call your client. I pretty much cancelled my appointment on the spot, never returning. Clearly, the staff here are not well trained. One staff saying one thing, and the other staff telling me different response. I ended up going to a different laser removal business and they were able to have me in the day of so I don't know what their deal is not letting new clients to come in two days later from the date you make an appointment. Don't waste your time at this Yorba Linda location.

I recently moved to the area and decided to give NakedMD a try. During my consultation, the consultant was very friendly and mentioned that all of their providers are RNs or nurses rather than technicians, which made me feel confident moving forward with my PRF microneedling appointment. Unfortunately, the experience started off poorly with the blood draw. The first nurse who attempted to draw my blood seemed new and was having difficulty finding the vein. After multiple attempts, she missed my vein and ended up blowing it, which was extremely painful and left me with additional bruising. At that point, Stephanie--the nurse who would later perform my microneedling treatment--was brought in to help. She was able to draw my blood successfully on the first try without any issues, and I appreciated that. However, I was disappointed with the microneedling treatment itself. Compared to treatments I've received at other med spas, the procedure felt rushed and not nearly as thorough. When I got home and looked more closely, I noticed that my upper lip area had been completely missed during the treatment and around my eyes. Since my face was fully numbed at the time, I wasn't aware of it until afterward, but it's hard to understand how an area like that could be overlooked. Overall, the staff was friendly, but between the painful blood draw experience and the lack of attention to detail during the microneedling treatment, this visit did not meet the standard I've experienced elsewhere. I left feeling disappointed and unsure if I would return to this location.

The staff reviewed different treatment packages with me, and after discussing my options, I chose a three-treatment package and let them know I wanted to move forward. At that point, I was informed that they would not be able to perform the microneedling treatment because there was no nurse available due to a call-out. While I completely understand that staffing issues happen, the office knew about the nurse's absence before my appointment. A phone call beforehand would have saved me the trip and allowed me to make other plans. The main reason I scheduled the appointment on that specific day was because it fit my schedule, so it was very disappointing to learn only after arriving that treatment would not be possible. Based on this experience, I won't be returning. Perhaps it was a blessing in disguise, but I expected better communication and respect for my time.
